Product Information

The product is a tiller/kultivator from the HECHT brand. It is a motorized tool used for cultivation and tilling of soil. The product comes with a user manual which provides important information on safety, installation, operation, maintenance, storage, and troubleshooting. Product Usage Instructions

1. Before first use, read the owner’s manual carefully.
2. Attach the right handle with gas lever (1) and the left handle with actuator plowshares lever (2) to the console handles (8).
3. Connect the Bowden lever to the gas lever (3) and Bowden lever to actuator ploughshare lever (4).
4. Install the starter handle (6) onto the engine (7).
5. Fill the fuel tank (17) with gasoline.
6. Check the oil level and fill the oil filler hole (9) if necessary.
7. Check the air filter (10) and clean or replace it if necessary.
8. Attach the ploughshare (14) to the product.
9. Attach the transport wheel (15) and the spring of transport wheel (16) to the product.
10. Start the engine by pulling the starter handle (6).
11. Use the product for cultivation and tilling of soil.
12. After use, turn off the engine and store the product in a safe place.

SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE This appliance is approved solely for use
– in accordance with description and safety instructions specified in this user´s manual – machine is intended for breaking up and tiling coarse soil for the purpose of mixing
in fertiliser, peat and compost. Any other use is not as intended. Improver use is not covered by the warranty and the manufacturer will reject any liability. The user is liable for all damage caused to third parties and their property. Unauthorized modifications made to machine rule out any liability on the part of the manufacturer for damage resulting therefrom.

A wrench or a key that is left attached to a rotating part of the machine may result in personal injury. ·Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. ·Wear safety shoes with steel puffs and non- skid sole. ·Wear solid gloves ­ good protection is provided by gloves made of leather. ·Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts. ·Prolonged use of the machine may lead to disorders of blood circulation in hands caused by vibration. These effects can be worsened by low ambient temperatures and/or by gripping the handgrips excessively tightly. Period of use you can extend with appropriate gloves or regular breaks. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.

PETROL TOOL USE AND CARE WARNING! Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
·Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose. ·Refuel outdoors only and do not smoke while refueling.

·Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add petrol while
EN the engine is running or when the engine is hot. ·If petrol is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move the machine away from the area of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until petrol vapors have dissipated. ·Replace all fuel tank and container caps securely. ·Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide can collect. ·Do not force the petrol tool. Use the correct petrol tool for your application. The correct petrol tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
DE ·Do not use the petrol tool if the main switch does not work. Any petrol tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. ·Turn tool off completely before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing petrol tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the petrol tool accidentally. ·Store idle petrol tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the petrol tool or these instructions to operate the petrol tool. Petrol tools are dangerous in the
CS hands of untrained users. ·Maintain petrol tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the petrol tool’s operation. If damaged, have the petrol tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained petrol tools. ·Use the petrol tool, accessories and tool bits etc., In accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular type of petrol tool, taking into account the working
SK conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the petrol tool for operations different from intended could result in a hazardous situation.

PERSON PROTECTION Be prepared! Have about one following things at least:
·Suitable fire extinguisher (Dry Powder).
PL ·Fully equipped first-aid kit, available easily for machine operator and accompanying person. It should contain enough pieces of bandage for lacerated/cutting wounds. ·Mobile phone or another device for quick calling of rescue service.

Don´t work alone. There must be around another person who knows principles of the first aid.
The accompanying person must keep safe separation distance from your workplace, but he/she must be able to see you the whole time! Work only on such places where you are able to call the rescue service quickly!

·In case of any injury always proceed in accordance with the principles of first aid. ·If someone is cut, cover the wound with a clean cloth and press hard to stop the flow of blood. ·If battery liquid gets on your skin:
Wash quickly with soap and water.

Put safety first in the case of fire: ·If fire comes from the engine or smoke appears from any area other than the exhaust vent, first
distance yourself from the product to ensure your physical safety. ·Use dry powder fire extinguisher on the fire to prevent it from spreading. ·A panicked reaction could result in the fire and other damage becoming more extensive.

failure of control system, relate to the defects by the handle and placing of drivers.

·Dangers caused by defect of machine control system, relate to solidity of the handle, placing

of drivers and marking.

·Dangers caused by tearing (of the chain) during running.

·Dangers caused by shooting up of subjects or splashing of liquids.

remain a part of the product. ·Parts of the packaging (plastic bags, paper clips, etc.) do not leave within reach of children,
could be a possible source of danger. Do not let children play with plastic bags, foils or small parts. There is a danger of swallowing or suffocating! ·Disposal must be made in accordance with the regulations in force in the country in which the equipment was installed. ·Make sure that bags and containers of plastic material are left strewn freely in the environment because they pollute it. ·If you have any doubt do not use the machine, but have it checked by an authorized service center.

Safety instructions for putting into operation for the first time Always pay attention to tightening of bolting and use exclusively parts delivered with the machine.

1. Prepare your tools. 2. Attach the depth limiter prepared fuse into the hole on the rear of the machine. (pic. 2) 3. Depth limiter is set by moving up or down as needed. Again secure fuse (pic. 2). 4. Attach the wheel on the front of the machine by means of nut and bolt (pic. 3A). Then
slide the spring into the hole in the fender (pic. 3B). For moving the machine uses the lower position of the carriage wheel. (pic. 4). For his lift off the ground and the subsequent change of position, overcome tension springs and pull the arm round. For cultivation, set the wheel into the upper position (pic. 5). 5. Fasten the bracket to the machine (pic. 6). 6. Fasten the cover of the handles console (pic. 7A). 7. Insert the handle into the holes in the cover bracket and then tighten large screws. Place a washer screws (pic. 7B). 8. Connect Bowdens. Bowden with gas lever (pic. 8), screw the handle horizontally in the direction lever up. screw the handle horizontally in the direction lever up. To connect a second bowden, first unscrew the actuator ploughshares lever (pic. 9). Then thread the end through the opening in the bowden actuator ploughshare lever, unscrew the nut on the front bowden threads, then thread insert into the holder on the handle, tighten the front screw and give back the lever actuator. 9. To extend the scope of stroke: – unlock the locking pin, remove installed ploughshare – attach additional ploughshare (pic. 10) and secure with a locking pin (pic. 10) – replace original ploughshare and re-secure safety pin – do the same on the other side – screw the second part of the fenders (pic. 11) by short screws

REFUELING · Use only clean, fresh, unleaded regular grade gasoline, with minimum octane rating – see
Specifications. This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline. Unleaded gasoline
CS produces fewer engine and spark plug deposits and extends exhaust system life. The fuel must
not be older than 14-days. ·Approved fuel for this engine is petrol (e.g. Natural 95/90 octane). Never use stale or
contaminated gasoline or oil/gasoline mixture. Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank. Do not use petrol containing methanol. It is recommended to use Fuel Stabiliser for engine protection. Fuel Stabiliser is available at petrol stations.
SK WARNING! Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive, and you can be burned or
seriously injured when refueling.

·Stop engine and keep heat, sparks, and flame away. ·Refuel only outdoors. ·Wipe up spills immediately.

NOTE: Fuel can damage paint and some types of plastic. Be careful not to spill fuel when filling your fuel tank. Damage caused by spilled fuel is not covered under the Warranty.

ENGINE OIL

NOTE: This engine is delivered without oil, be sure to put oil in the engine before

the starting. Use only below recommended types of oil.

RECOMMENDED OIL Use 4-stroke motor oil that meets or exceeds the requirements for API service classification SH, SJ, or equivalent. Always check the API service label on the oil container to be sure it includes the letters SH, SJ, or equivalent.
CS SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use in the summer (for temperatures above 0°C) recommended oil HECHT 4T. SAE 5W-40 is recommended for general use in winter (for temperatures below 0°C) recommended oil HECHT 5W-40.

SK Choose optimal oil viscosity that match the ambient temperature at which you are going to operate the machine. DO NOT MIX OILS!
OIL LEVEL CHECK CAUTION: Only check oil level with cold engine.

1. Place engine level. Check the oil level with the engine stopped and cooled down.
PL 2. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick (pic. 12B) and wipe it clean. 3. Insert the oil filler cap/dipstick into the oil filler neck until it stops, but do not screw it in. Then remove it. Now read off the oil level (pic. 13) on the dipstick. 4. If the oil level is near or below the lower limit mark on the dipstick, remove the oil filler cap/ dipstick, and fill with the recommended oil into the engine between the upper and lower mark. Do not overfill.

Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause serious engine damage.

5. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick (pic. 12B).

HIGH ALTITUDE ·At high altitude, the standard carburetor air-fuel mixture will be excessively rich. Performance
will decrease, and fuel consumption will increase. ·High altitude performance can be improved by installing a smaller diameter main fuel jet in the
carburetor. If you always operate the machine at altitudes higher than 1600 m above sea level, have your authorized dealer install the high altitude main jet. ·This machine will not perform well at high altitudes without proper adjustment. Contact a authorized service center for adjustment information.

PREPARING FOR OPERATION

1. Go to the tilled area. The height setting lever should be put on the transport position. 2. Check all the parts for damages and see whether they are tight.

4. Before each use, check the condition of cultivating blades, if damaged, replace them with new ones.

1. Ignition is connected through the cable and the spark plug cap (the rubber boot) with the

spark plug. Check the connection (pic. 14B).

2. Throttle switch to cold start (choke) (pic. 8)

3. Grasp the starter handle (pic. 12A) and pull gently on the starter handle until it begins to

resist, then pull quickly and forcefully upwards.

WARNING! Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
4. Return the starter handle slowly to the rope guide bolt after engine starts. 5. Push the safety switch (pic. 9A) down and simultaneously push the plowshares drive lever
(pic. 9B), the plowshares drive lever are now beginning to turn.

WARNING! Keep hands and feet away from the rotary cultivation blades.

Start the engine carefully according to instructions and with feet well away from the blade. Do not tilt the machine when starting the engine. Start the machine on a level surface. Keep hands and feet away from the rotating parts.

TO STOP ENGINE 1. After the last tilling let the unit riddle running for 1-2 minutes. The engine will get cooled a bit. 2. Adjust the throttle lever to ,,STOP” position (pic. 8) (if it is equipped), adjust the engine on/
off switch into the position ,,0″ (if it is equipped) 3. Disconnect and ground the spark plug wire (pic. 14B), to prevent accidental starting while
equipment is unattended.

REPLACEMENT OF PLOUGHSHARES
EN – unlock the locking pin (pic. 10) remove installed ploughshare – replace new ploughshare and re-secure safety pin – do the same on the other side
Always change both tine pairs at the same time to avoid damage to the tool from imbalance.

OPERATING SPEED
DE For normal tilling, set the throttle control lever to “Max. speed” for best tiller action. The throttle should be set to control forward movement to a slow walking speed for cultivating. Set the throttle control lever to “Min. speed” to reduce stress on the engine when tilling is not being performed. Besides depth regulator rod setting, variation of pressure on the handles also helps further controlof tilling depth and travel speed. A downward pressure on the handles will reduce the tilling depth and increase the forward speed. An upward pressure on the handles will increase the working depth and reduce the forward speed.

CS TINE CLUTCH CONTROL Pushing down to engage tines into forward. Releasing returns machine to neutral.

DEPTH REGULATOR ROD Serves a dual purpose. It regulates the tilling depth and helps the operator control the direction and speed of the tiller.
SK Unfold the wheels bracket to raise the wheels to one of the high positions. Lowering the depth regulator rod will slow the tiller and make it till deeper. Raising the depth regulator rod will allow it to move faster and till more shallow.

Do not adjust tilling depth unless tine clutch control lever is released to the neutral position.

Switch off the engine before working on the machine. Wait until all moving parts have completely stopped.

TO ADJUST THE TILLING DEPTH: 1. Remove the lock screw (pic. 2). 2. Raise or lower the depth regulator rod. 3. Align groove in depth regulator rod with the holes in bracket lock block and replace the lock screw (pic. 2).
TRANSPORT WHEEL The wheel down and the depth regulator rod with curve up (pic. 4) when transporting the tiller. Tilt the machine forward until the tines clear the ground. Push or pull the unit to the next location.

TILLING
Tilling is digging in, turning over and breaking up garden soil and prepare a seedbed for planting. A tiller will also clear the soil of unwanted vegetation. The decomposition of this vegetation matter enriches the soil. VAvoid tilling soil that is too dry as it will pulverize and produce a dust that will not hold water. Water a few days before tilling.
WARNING! If the soil is too stiff, it must be prearranged before cultivation (moistened or loosen) to avoid damage of the plough shares or other parts of tiller.

Also, tilling soil that is too wet will produce unsatisfactory clods. Wait a day or two after heavy

rain for the soil to dry.

WARNING! Do not use the machine in a case of heavy, wet clay soil. It can cause permanent damage to the machine.

Better growth will be obtained if an area is tilled properly and used soon after tilling to preserve

the moisture content. The type of soil and working conditions will determine the actual setting of
DE the tilling depth. In some soils, the desired depth is reached irst pass over garden. In other soils,

the desired depth is obtained by going over the garden two or three times. In later case, the depth

regulator rod should be lowered before each succeeding pass over the garden. Passes should be

made across the length and width of the garden alternately. Do not try to dig too deeply in the irst

pass. If the machine jumps or bucks, allow the unit to move forward at a lightly faster rate. If the

tiller stops forward motion and tries to dig in one spot, rock the handles from side to side to start

it moving forward again. Rocks which are turned up should be removed from the garden area.

WARNING: if you strike a foreign object, stop the engine. Disconnect wire from spark plug, thoroughly inspect the machine for any damage and repair the damage before restarting and operating the machine. Extensive vibration of the machine during operation is an indication of damage (especially blade and shaft). The machine should be promptly inspected and repaired. Contact an authorized service center.

OIL CHANGE

Drain the engine oil when the engine is warm. Warm oil drains quickly and complete.

When you drain the oil from the top oil fill tube, the fuel tank must be empty or fuel can leak out and result in a fire or explosion.

1. Disconnect the spark plug (pic. 14B) wire and keep it away from the spark plug.

2. Place a suitable container next to the engine to catch the used oil. 3. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick. (pic. 12B).

4. Remove the drain bolt (pic. 12C) and allow the used oil to drain completely into the container.

5. For engine without drain plug, we recommend to use oil extractor pump, or drain the oil into

the container by slightly tilting the engine toward the oil filler cap/dipstick. Before tilting the

machine, remove fuel from tank. Keep the spark plug end of the engine up.

Please dispose of used motor oil in a manner that is compatible with the environment. We suggest you take used oil in a sealed container to your local recycling center or service station for reclamation. Do not throw it in the trash or pour it on the ground or down a drain.

6. Reinstall the drain bolt (pic. 12C). With the engine in a level position, fill to the upper limit mark (pic. 13).

AIR FILTER
EN A dirty air filter will restrict air flow to the carburetor and cause poor engine performance. Inspect the air filter each time the engine is operated. You will need to clean the air filter more frequently if you operate the engine in very dusty areas.

WARNING! Operating the engine without an air filter, or with a damaged air filter, will allow dirt to enter the engine, causing rapid engine wear. This type of damage is not covered.

AIR FILTER INSPECTION AND CLEANING – PLEATED FILTER CAUTION: The air filter must be serviced (cleaned) after 25 hours normal working. Service more frequently when operating the machine in extremely dusty areas.
1. Release the air filter cover (pic. 14C)
CS 2. Remove the air filter cover. Be careful to prevent dirt and debris from falling into the air filter base. 3. Remove the air filter from the air filter base. 4. Inspect the air filter elements. Clean dirty elements. 5. To loosen debris, gently tap the filter on a hard surface or blow compressed air through the filter from the inside out. Never try to brush the dirt off, brushing will force dirt into the
SK fibers. If the filter is excessively dirty, replace with a new filter. 6. Install the filter back. 7. Close the cover and secure it.
NOTE: Replace filter if frayed, torn, damaged or unable to be cleaned.

For good performance, the spark plug must be properly gapped and free of deposits. 1. Disconnect the cap from the spark plug (pic. 14B) and remove any dirt from the spark plug area. 2. Use the proper size spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug. 3. Inspect the spark plug. Replace it if damaged, badly fouled, if the sealing washer is in poor
condition, or if the electrode is worn. 4. Measure the electrode gap with a suitable gauge. The correct gap is listed in the Specifications.
If adjustment is needed, correct the gap by carefully bending the side electrode. 5. Install the spark plug carefully, by hand, to avoid cross- threading. 6. After the spark plug is seated, tighten with the proper size spark plug wrench to compress the washer. 7. When installing a new spark plug, tighten by 1/2 turn after the spark plug seats to compress the washer. 8. When reinstalling the original spark plug, tighten by 1/8 – 1/4 turn after the spark plug seats
to compress the washer.

NOTE: A loose spark plug can become very hot and can damage the engine. Over

tightening the spark plug can damage the threads in the cylinder head.

avoid spilling fuel. 2. Remove the drain bolt (pic. 16), then move the fuel valve lever to the ON position (if it is equipped). 3. After all the fuel has drained into the container, reinstall the drain bolt and washer. Tighten
the drain bolt securely (pic. 16).

ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS NOTE: Do not change in any way the rated speed of the engine (carburetor side or regulator side).

PL Your engine was adjusted in the factory and the non-respect of the homologation speed engine could be dangerous for your safety and others safety. If the motor settings is changed in any way, the warranty will be cancelled. If additional adjustment is necessary (eg. for high altitude), contact authorized service center!

STORAGE PREPARATION Proper storage preparation is essential for keeping your engine trouble free and looking good. The following steps will help to keep rust and corrosion from impairing your engine`s function and appearance, and will make the engine easier to start when you use it again.

CLEANING
EN If the engine has been running, allow it to cool for at least half an hour before cleaning. Clean all exterior
surfaces, touch up any damaged paint, and coat other areas that may rust with a light film of oil.

NOTE: Using a garden hose or pressure washing equipment can force water into the air cleaner or muffler opening. Water in the air cleaner will soak the air filter, and water that passes through the air filter or muffler can enter the cylinder, causing damage.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS

·If your engine will be stored with gasoline in the fuel tank and carburetor, it is important to

reduce the hazard of gasoline vapor ignition. Select a well-ventilated storage area away from

any appliance that operates with a flame, such as a furnace, water heater, or clothes dryer.

·Also avoid any area with a spark producing electric motor, or where power tools are operated.

·If possible, avoid storage areas with high humidity, because that promotes rust and corrosion.

·If there is gasoline in the fuel tank, leave the fuel valve in OFF position. ·Keep the engine level in storage. Tilting can cause fuel or oil leakage.

·With the engine and exhaust system cool, cover the engine to keep out dust. A hot engine and

exhaust system can ignite or melt some materials.

·Do not use sheet plastic as a dust cover. A nonporous cover will trap moisture around the

engine, promoting rust and corrosion.

ADDING A GASOLINE STABILIZER TO EXTEND FUEL STORAGE LIFE

For engine protection use Fuel stabiliser which is available at petrol stations.

When adding a gasoline stabilizer, fill the fuel tank with fresh gasoline. If only partially filled, air

in the tank will promote fuel deterioration during storage. If you keep a container of gasoline for

refueling, be sure that it contains only fresh gasoline.

1. Add gasoline stabilizer following the manufacturer`s instructions.

2. After adding a gasoline stabilizer, run the engine outdoors for 10 minutes to be sure that

treated gasoline has replaced the untreated gasoline in the carburetor.

OFF SEASON STORAGE If your engine will be stored with gasoline in the fuel tank and carburetor, gasoline will oxidize and deteriorate. Old gasoline will cause hard starting, and it leaves gum deposits that clog the fuel system. If the gasoline in your engine deteriorates during storage, you may need to have the carburetor and other fuel system components serviced or replaced. The fuel can not be in the engine longer than 14 days. If you leave it there longer it can cause damages on the engine, these damages are not covered in the warranty. The addition of a fuel stabilizer to gasoline can extend the life of fuel.

The following steps should be taken to prepare machine for storage. 1. Empty the petrol tank with a suction pump after the last working of the season.

CAUTION! Do not drain the petrol in closed rooms, in close proximity of open fire, etc. Do not smoke! Petrol fumes can cause explosion or fire.

2. Start the engine and let it run until it has used up all remaining petrol and stalls. 3. Remove the spark plug. Use an oilcan to fill approx. 20 ml recommended motor oil into
the combustion chamber. Operate the starter to evenly distribute the oil in the combustion chamber. Replace the spark plug.

REMOVAL FROM STORAGE Check your engine as described in the BEFORE STARTING section of this manual. If the fuel was drained during storage preparation, fill the tank with fresh gasoline. If you keep a container of gasoline for refueling, be sure it contains only fresh gasoline. Gasoline oxidizes and deteriorates over time, causing hard starting and clogging.
DE If the cylinder was coated with oil during storage preparation, the engine will smoke briefly at
startup. This is normal.

FUEL STORAGE ·Store the gasoline only in special can, otherwise there is a risk of fuel contamination. ·Never store engine in vicinity of stoves, ovens, water heaters with pilot light, contingently other
CS devices which can produce sparks. ·If you use contaminated gasoline there is a risk of irregular engine running or its damage. · Store minimum quantity of the fuel which you can use to 14 days. Do not use fuel older than 14 days.
DEVICE-SPECIFIC STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS 1. Store the machine in a dry, clean and frost-protected place, out of reach of unauthorized
SK persons. 2. Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not retain moisture. Do not use sheet plastic as a dust cover. A nonporous cover will trap moisture around the machine, promoting rust and corrosion. 3. Keep the machine in good condition, if necessary change warning and instruction labels on the machine.
PL 4. Be careful not to bend or kink cables.
NOTE: When storing care should be taken to rust-proof the equipment. Using a light oil or silicone, coat the equipment, especially all metal parts and all moving parts.

1. Empty the fuel tank before transporting the machine. 2. Empty the petrol tank with a suction pump. Start the engine and let it run until it has used up
all remaining petrol and stalls. 3. Close the fuel cap firmly. 4. Turn the engine switch and fuel valve (if equipped) to the off or stop position. 5. Let the engine to cool down before transporting. 6. Take care not to drop or strike the machine when transporting. 7. Tie down the machine securely in an upright position while transporting. 8. Take care not to strike the machine when transporting. Do not place objects on the machine.

Similarly as all mechanical devices, the engines need periodical service and spare parts replacement

in order to work correctly. Guarantee is not related to such repairs when lifetime of the part of

engine was exhausted by normal operation.

INCORRECT MAINTENANCE: Lifetime of the engine depends on conditions, in which it is operated and on care which is given to it. The guarantee does not relate to wearing caused by dust, dirt, sand or other abrasive materials which penetrated into engine in consequence with incorrect maintenance. This guarantee relates only to material and production defects. Therefore do not ask replacement of back payment of devices in which can be assembled the engine. The guarantee does not relate either for repairs caused by: · Using other than original spare parts · Control elements or devices which make starting difficult, cause power output reduction and
reduce its lifetime (contact producer of the device). · Untight carburetors, stopped fuel pipes, seized valves or other defects, caused by using dirty
or old fuel. Use only fresh plumb free petrol and fuel stabiliser. · Parts which are rubbed out or broken due to operation with unsufficient oil level, using dirty
or oil incorrect specifications. Use the oil recommended by the manufacturer. · Repair or adjustment of connected parts or assembly, e.g. gear couplings, remote controls and
similar, not original ones. · Damage or wear of parts caused by dirt particles which penetrated into engine due to incorrect
maintenance or assembly of air filter or using non original cleaner or filter inlay. · Parts which were damaged due to engine overspeeding or overheating caused by clogging or

– diese Maschine ist für das Umgraben und die Zerkleinerung von grob strukturiertem Boden und für die Zumischung von Dünger, Torf und Kompost in den Boden bestimmt.

Ansammlungvon Kohlenmonoxid. · Arbeiten Sie nur bei Tageslicht oder guter künstlicher Beleuchtung! ·Sorgen Sie immer für einen sicheren Stand, insbesondere bei Arbeiten am Hang. ·Gehen Sie im normalen Schritttempo. Rennen Sie nicht bei der Arbeit. ·Bei Arbeiten an Hang, arbeiten Sie quer zum Hang, niemals von oben nach unten. ·Arbeiten Sie nicht an übermäßig steilen Hängen. Die maximale erlaubte Neigung beträgt 15°. ·Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig beim Rückwärtsfahren, oder wenn Sie die Richtung ändern oder
die Maschine zu sich ziehen. ·Stoppen Sie die Messerwalze wenn Sie Wenden, die Maschine leicht ankippen, oder ihn von
Ort zu Ort fahren wollen.

(kontrollieren Sie vor dem erneuten Einschalten, ob das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist).

CS -Wenn ungewöhnliche Geräusche und Vibrationen auftreten (stellen Sie vor dem
Neustart sicher, dass das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist).

·Stoppen Sie den Motor:

– wenn Sie sich vom Vertikutierer entfernen

– und lassen Sie ihn abkühlen vor dem Tanken.

·Arbeitsbereich sauber und gut beleuchtet halten. Unordnung und unzureichende Beleuchtung erhöhen das Unfallrisiko.
·Kontrollieren Sie das Gelände, in dem Sie das Gerät verwenden wollen und beseitigen Sie sämtliche Gegenstände, die vom Gerät erfasst und weggeschleudert werden könnten, wie Steine, Spielzeuge, Knüppel und Drähte, es könnte sonst das Gerät beschädigt oder der Bediener verletzt werden.

·Lagern Sie Benzin in Behältern welche speziell für diesen Zweck konzipiert sind. ·Nur im Freien tanken und rauchen Sie nicht während des Tankens. ·Fügen Sie Kraftstoff vor dem Anlassen des Motors zu. Entfernen Sie niemals den Deckel des
Kraftstofftanks oder fügen Sie Benzin hinzu während der Motor läuft oder wenn der Motor heiß ist. ·Falls Benzin verschüttet wurde, versuchen Sie nicht, den Motor zu starten, sondern führen sie die Maschine weg aus dem Bereich und vermeiden Sie offene Flammen, bis die Benzindämpfe verflogen sind. ·Tauschen Sie sicher den Kraftstoff und ziehen sie den Zündschlüssel ab. ·Betreiben Sie den Motor nicht in geschlossenen Räumen, in denen sich gefährliches Kohlenmonoxid ansammeln kann. ·Bei der Arbeit mit den Kraftstoffmaschinen nie raue Gewalt anwenden. Für die jeweilige Aufgabe immer die richtige Maschine verwenden. Die richtige Maschine erledigt die Arbeit besser und sicherer. ·Nie eine Kraftstoffmaschine ohne funktionierenden Hauptschalter benutzen. Jegliche Maschine, die nicht mit dem Hauptschalter bedient werden kann, ist gefährlich und muss repariert werden. ·Vor der Durchführung von sämtlichen Reparaturen oder vor der Lagerung der Kraftstoffmaschinen muss die Maschine zuerst abgeschaltet werden. Diese Schutzmaßnahmen mindern das Risiko des unbeabsichtigten Einschaltens der Maschine. ·Die nicht verwendeten Maschinen fern von Kindern lagern. Die Maschine darf nicht von Personen benutzt werden, die mir ihrem Betrieb und diesem Benutzerhandbuch nicht bekannt gemacht wurden. In den Händen von unqualifizierten Personen sind die Kraftstoffmaschinen gefährlich. ·Die Kraftstoffmaschinen in einem ordnungsgemäßen Zustand halten. Kontrollieren, ob die beweglichen Teile richtig eingestellt wurden und nicht hacken. Versichern Sie sich, dass die Maschinenteile nicht beschädigt sind oder andere Probleme aufgetreten sind, die die Maschinenfunktion beeinträchtigen. Wenn die Maschine beschädigt ist, muss sie vor der Verwendung repariert werden. Viele Unfälle werden durch die schlechte Maschinenwartung verursacht. ·Dieses Gerät, dessen Zubehör, die Zusatzwerkzeuge usw. nach diesen Hinweisen, nur für

Die Begleitung muss sich in einem sicheren Abstand vom Arbeitsplatz befinden, aber sie darf Sie nie aus den Augen verlieren! Arbeiten Sie nur an Stellen, wo Sie schnell den Rettungsdienst anrufen können!

SK ·Im Falle der Verletzung, immer halten Sie die erste-Hilfe Prinzipien ein.
·Wenn es zu einer Schnittverletzung kommt, bedecken Sie die Wunde mit einem sauberen Verband (Stoff) und drücken Sie fest darauf, bis die Blutung stoppt.

Im Brandfall:

·Wenn der Motor Feuer fängt oder zum Qualmen beginnt, befinden Sie sich in Gefahr.

·Zum Löschen des Brands ist ein Pulver-Feuerlöscher zu verwenden.

·Nicht in Panik geraten. Die Panik kann noch größere Schäden verursachen.

MONTAGE
Sicherheitshinweise für die Erstinbetriebnahme Achten Sie immer auf die Festziehung der Schraubverbindungen und benutzen Sie ausschließlich die

mit der Maschine gelieferten Teile.
EN Führen Sie die Montage der einzelnen Teile in der dargestellten Reihenfolge durch. Führen Sie die
Montage durch zwei Personen durch. Der Kultivator wird nach dem Auspacken nicht stabil sein. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Anordnung der Bauteile gemäß Abbildungen.

1. Bereiten Sie die Werkzeuge

2. Befestigen Sie den Tiefenbegrenzer mit Hilfe der Sicherung in die Öffnung an der Hinterseite

des Maschinenkörpers (Abb. 2)

DE 3. Der Tiefenbegrenzer kann durch Verschiebung nach oben, oder nach unten, nach Bedarf eingestellt werden. Sichern Sie wieder mit Hilfe der Sicherung (Abb 2).

4. Montieren Sie das Vorderrad mit Hilfe der Schraube und Mutter an der Front der Maschine.

(Abb. 3A). Hängen Sie die Feder in die Bohrung in der Schutzabdeckung ein. (Abb. 3B). Für

den Transport der Maschine stellen Sie das Rad in die tiefste Position. (Abb. 4). Ziehen Sie das

Rad nach unten aus der Nut um es für den Betrieb der Maschine hochzuklappen und in die

oberste Nut einzurasten. (Abb 5). 5. Montieren Sie die Griffaufnahme an der Maschine. (Abb. 6).

6. Setzen sie die Abdeckung der Griffaufnahme auf die Griffaufnahme auf (Abb. 7A).

7. Schieben Sie die Handgriffe in die Öffnungen in der Konsolenabdeckung und schrauben Sie

sie dann mit großen Schrauben an. Legen Sie Unterlegscheiben unter die Schrauben (Abb. 7B).

8. Schließen Sie die Bowdenzüge an. Schrauben Sie den Bowdenzug mit dem Gashebel (Abb. 8)

waagerecht zum Handgriff an, mit dem Hebel in Richtung nach oben. Zum Anschließen des

SK zweiten Bowdenzugs schrauben Sie zuerst den Hebel des Messerantriebs (Abb. 9). ab. Stecken Sie
dann das Bowdenzugende durch die Öffnung im Hebel des Antriebs hindurch, schrauben Sie die

vordere Mutter auf dem Bowdenzuggewinde ab, schieben Sie dann das Gewinde in den Halter am

Handgriff, ziehen die vordere Schraube fest und schrauben den Hebel des Antriebs wieder zurück.

9. Zur Erweiterung der Arbeitsbreite:

– – entriegeln Sie den Sicherungsbolzen des installierten Messers und nehmen Sie es ab

PL – setzen Sie das Zusatzmesser auf (Abb. 10) und sichern Sie es mit dem Sicherungsbolzen ab (Abb. 10)
– setzen Sie das ursprüngliche Messer auf und sichern Sie erneut mit dem Sicherungsbolzen ab

– führen Sie das Gleiche auf der anderen Seite durch

– schrauben Sie die zweiten Teile der Kotflügel (Abb. 11) mit kurzen Schrauben an

VOR DEM EINSCHALTEN DES MOTORS

Aus Sicherheitsgründen und für die Gewährleistung der maximalen Lebensdauer Ihres Geräts ist sehr wichtig vor dem Einschalten des Motors gewisse Zeit der Kontrolle zu widmen. Vor dem Einschalten des Motors alle festgestellten Probleme beseitigen oder darum den Service-Techniker bitten.

WARNUNG! Die nicht ordnungsgemäße Wartung des Motors oder Unterlassung der Reparatur der festgestellten Mängel vor dem Starten kann zum Versagen des Motors führen, was wiederum zu schweren oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen kann.

Vor jeder Verwendung des Motors ist eine Kontrolle durchzuführen und alle Mängel zu beseitigen.

Vor dem Starten des Motors muss immer Folgendes überprüft werden: 1. Kraftstoffstand 2. Ölstand 3. Luftfilter (wenn vorhanden) 4. Gesamtüberprüfung: überprüfen, ob keine Flüssigkeiten austreten, suchen Sie lose oder
beschädigte Teile.

5. Die vom Motor angetriebene Anlage kontrollieren.
EN NACHFÜLLUNG DES KRAFTSTOFFS
·Reinen, frischen und bleifreien Sprit in der handelsüblichen Qualität mit der minimalen OktanNummer – siehe Spezifikation. Der Motor ist für bleifreies Benzin zertifiziert. Das bleifreie Benzin bildet weniger Ablagerungen im Motor und der Zündkerze und verlängert die Lebensdauer des Auspuffsystems. Der Kraftstoff darf nicht älter, als 14 Tage sein.
DE ·Der zugelassene Kraftstoff ist PKW-Benzin -Kraftstoffmarke Natural 95 (Super 95). Nicht Benzin mit Methanol-Gehalt verwenden. Öl nicht mit Benzin mischen. Zum Motorschutz ist die Verwendung von Kraftstoff-Stabilisatoren empfohlen, die bei den Tankstellen erhältlich sind.

WARNUNG! Benzin ist leicht entflammbar und explosiv. Beim Nachfüllen können schwere Verbrennungen oder Verletzungen entstehen.

CS ·Motor abstellen und sicherstellen, dass Sie sich außerhalb des Hitze-, Funken- oder Feuerbereichs befinden. ·Kraftstoff nur in Außenräumen nachfüllen. ·Das verschüttete Benzin sofort weg wischen.

HINWEIS: Benzin kann auch Lacke und einige Kunststoffsorten beschädigen. Beim

Nachfüllen des Tanks vorsichtig vorgehen und Benzin nicht verschütten. Für die Schäden, verursacht durch verschüttetes Benzin, ist die Garantie nicht gültig.

Nie ein abgestandenes oder verunreinigtes Benzin verwenden, sowie Benzin-Öl- Gemisch. Stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Wasser in den Kraftstofftank eindringt.

WARNUNG! Benzin ist leicht entflammbar.
Kraftstoff nur in zu diesem Zweck speziell entworfenen Behältern lagern. Benzin nur draußen nachfüllen. Vor dem Starten des Motors und während dem Nachfüllen oder Handhabung mit dem Benzin nicht rauchen. Wenn der Motor läuft oder noch heiß ist, entfernen Sie nicht den Tankdeckel. Beim verschütteten Benzin Motor nicht starten. Maschine umstellen und Brand vermeiden, bis die Dämpfe sich verflüchtigt haben. Tank- und Behälterdeckel wieder montieren. Vor dem Kippen der Maschine (bei Wartung oder Öl ablassen) Benzin aus dem Tank entfernen.

WARNUNG: Benzin nie in einem Raum, beim laufenden Motor und erst nach 15 Minuten nach dem Abstellen nachfüllen. Benzin, das älter als 14 Tage ist nicht verwenden. Es besteht die Gefahr der Vergaserbeschädigung.

BENZIN NACHFÜLLEN 1. Tankdeckel demontieren. 2. Benzin maximal einen Zentimeter unter der Stutzen-Unterkante nachfüllen. 3. Nicht überfüllen. Vor dem Motorstart das verschüttete Benzin weg wischen. 4. Tankdeckel erneut montieren.

MOTORÖL BEMERKUNG: MOTOR WIRD OHNE ÖL GELIEFERT. VERSICHERN SIE SICH, DASS SIE VOR DEM START ÖL NACHGEFÜLLT HABEN. VERWENDEN SIE NUR DIE UNTEN ANGEFÜHRTEN ÖLSORTEN.

EMPFOHLENES ÖL
EN Verwenden Sie Viertakt-Motoröl, der den Anforderungen der API-Service- Einstufung SH, SJ
oder deren Äquivalenten entspricht oder diese übertrifft. Immer den Service- Schild API auf dem Ölbehälter überprüfen, ob die Buchstaben SH, SJ oder deren Äquivalente angeführt sind.

Für die allgemeine Verwendung in den Sommermonaten (für Temperaturen über 0°C) wird

empfohlen SAE 10W-30 – empfohlenes Öl HECHT 4T.

Für die allgemeine Verwendung in den Wintermonaten (für Temperaturen unter 0°C) wird

empfohlen SAE 5W-40 – empfohlenes Öl HECHT 5W-40.

DE

Die SAE-Ölviskosität so wählen, damit sie den Temperaturbedingungen am Verwendungsort entsprechen. ÖLE NICHT UNTEREINANDER MISCHEN!

ÖLSTANDPRÜFUNG

WARNUNG: Ölstandprüfung nur beim kalten Motor durchführen.

1. Ölstand beim kalten und abgestellten Motor prüfen, auf einem ebenen Untergrund.

2. Den Verschluss/Messstab (Abb. 12B) entfernen und trocken wischen.

3. Den Verschluss/Messstab bis zum Anschlag in den Füllstutzen hinein stecken, aber nicht

festschrauben. Danach raus ziehen. Auf dem Messstab ist der Ölstand abzulesen.(Abb. 13)

4. Wenn der Ölstand nah an der unteren Markierung oder unter der Markierung ist, Verschluss

SK entfernen und Motoröl so nachfüllen, dass sich der Ölstand zwischen beiden Markierungen
befindet. Nicht überfüllen.

Achtung! Ein falscher Ölstand führt zum Motorschaden.

5. Den Füllstutzen/Messstab-Verschluss (Abb. 12B) wieder montieren.

HÖHERE SEEHÖHEN ·Motoren, die in höheren Seehöhen betrieben werden (über 1600 n.n.) erfordern eine besondere
Aufmerksamkeit, weil es zur Änderung des Sättigungsverhältnisses des Kraftstoffs kommt, zur Übersättigung des Gemisches. In Folge dessen kommt es zum Leistungsverlust und zum höheren Kraftstoffverbrauch. ·Wenn Sie die Maschine wiederum in tieferen Seehöhen betreiben, als die Vergaserkalibrierung, kommt es wegen zu dünnem Gemisch Sprit-Luft wieder zum Leistungsverlust, Überhitzung oder sogar zu ernsthafterer Störung. ·Für die Einhaltung der Emissionsleistung muss der Motor nach der Seehöhe eingestellt werden. Weitere Informationen erhalten Sie in der autorisierten Service- Stelle.

INBETRIEBNAHME
ACHTUNG! DIE MASCHINE IST FÜR DEN BETRIEB UND DAS AUFSAMMELN DES SCHNITTGUTS IN VORWÄRTSFAHRT KONSTRUIERT. BEIM RÜCKWÄRTSFAHREN MUSS DIE MESSERWELLE ABGESCHALTET WERDEN, DA SICH SONST DAS SCHNITTGUT UNTER DER MASCHINE STAUT UND DIESES DIE MASCHINE BESCHÄDIGT.
VORBEREITUNGEN FÜR DIE INBETRIEBNAHME 1. Bringen Sie die Maschine in den Arbeitsbereich. 2. Überprüfen Sie alle Komponenten der Maschine auf Beschädigungen und Undichtigkeiten.

3. Kontrollieren Sie den Luftfilter auf Verschmutzungen. Falls notwendig den Luftfilter ersetzen.
EN 4. Kontrollieren Sie vor jeder Inbetriebnahme alle Anbauteile und Schraubverbindungen der Maschine auf festen Sitz. Kontrollieren Sie die Messer und ersetzen Sie diese im Fall einer Beschädigung!

Achtung! Kohlenmonoxid ist Giftig. Das Einatmen kann zu Bewusstseinsverlust

oder sogar zum Tod führen. Vermeiden Sie Orte oder Tätigkeiten bei denen Sie

einer hohen Konzentration von Kohlenmonoxid ausgesetzt sind.

1. Die Zündung erfolgt über Zündkabel und Zündkerzenstecker die mit der Zündkerze verbunden

sind. Überprüfen Sie den Zündkerzenstecker auf richtigen Sitz (Abb. 14B).

SK 2. Stellen Sie den Gashebel in die Position Kaltstart (Startvergaser)

3. Ziehen Sie vorsichtig am Starterseil (Abb. 12A) bis Sie einen Wiederstand spüren und ziehen
