Product Usage Instructions

Safety and Operation
Please read through Safety and Operation before start of the installation.
CAUTION : Ensure power supply is OFF when disconnecting/connecting cables.

Surface Mounting

  1. Rotate fixture to gain access to mounting holes.
  2. Fix M4 screws to mounting brackets.
  3. Rotate fixture to the intended position for permanent installation.
  4. Installation requires at least one mounting hole to be used on each mounting side (side A & side B).

Clip Mounting (with Track)

  1. Drive in the screws.
  2. Aim the clips into the slot of the track.
  3. The installation requires 2 mounting screws per each 300mm [1ft] track.
  4. Secure the clips with screws.
  5. Mount the fixture onto the clips.
  6. Rotate the fixture to the desired angle.

Clip Mounting (without Track)

  1. Drive in the screws (via 4.2mm [0.2] hole).
  2. Mount the fixture onto the clips.
  3. Rotate the fixture to the desired angle.

Track Mounting (Vertical)

  1. Drive in the screws.
  2. The installation requires 2 mounting screws per each 300mm [1ft] track.

  • Q: Is it safe to look directly into the LED light source?
    A: Avoid looking directly into the LED light source at close range for your own safety.

  • Q: How many mounting screws are required for a 1200mm [4ft] track installation?
    A: For a 1200mm [4ft] track, 8 screws would be needed.

  1. CAUTION – Avoid looking directly into the LED light source at close range for your own safety.
  2. Persons installing this product should make sure:
  3. The installation complies with all applicable codes, state and local laws, ordinances, standards and safety regulations.
  4. The installation environment is carefully studied and suitable surge protection measure(s) is taken.
  5. He or she is qualified for the handling of electrical equipment.
  6. Do not attempt to install or use the product until installation instructions and safety labels are fully understood. This product is designed for indoor and outdoor use.
  7. Ensure the product operates within the specified temperature range.
  8. Do not attempt to open the product. Not user-serviceable.
  9. Do not use the product if any part of it, or the power cables are damaged.
  10. Do not attempt installation in wet or severe weather conditions.
  11. Do not leave and expose any fixtures or LED Engines unconnected under wet/raining or snowing environments.
  12. IP failure induced by stressed/damaged cables during or after installation will not be under warranty.
  13. ALWAYS keep the cables protected from sharp objects and ensure no damage is generated to the cable.
  14. Failure to keep the product within the operating temperature range of -20°C to +45°C (-4°F to +113°F) and storage temperature range of -30°C to +60°C (-22°F to +140°F) will void the product’s warranty.
  15. Only use the product for specified voltage, do not exceed.
  16. Always maintain a connection to ensure waterproofing.
  17. If the product has been subjected to drastic temperature variances, for example, following transportation, do not connect the fixture until it has reached room temperature, as moisture condensation may cause electric shock and product damage.
  18. When installing the products and system power supplies, please ensure they will not be exposed to moisture and extremeheat (and direct sunlight for outdoor products). Besides, keep a clean operating environment for the fixtures and system power supplies.
  19. Please study this Mounting Guide thoroughly and check the latest Technical Specification Sheets available from the Traxon website www.traxon-ecue.com before setup.
  20. Any non-compliance of the Mounting Guide will void the Traxon warranty.

Product Mounting

Surface Mounting

  1. Rotate fixture to gain access to mounting holes. Fix M4 screws to mounting brackets.
  2. Rotate fixture to the intended position for permanent installation.
    NOTE: Installation requires at least one mounting hole to be used on each mounting side (side A & side B).

  1. Drive in the screws.

  2. Aim the clips into the slot of the track.

  3. Secure the clips (via 3.5mm / 0.1” hole) with screws.
    NOTE : The installation requires 2 mounting screws per each 300mm [1ft] track, e.g. for a1200mm [4ft] track, 8 screws would be needed

  4. Mount the fixture onto the clips.

  5. Rotate the fixture to the desired angle.
    NOTE : The installation position of the clips should be along both ends area of the fixture base, not exceeding the indicated position (i.e., the base mounting hole and the fixture housing rotation position).
    This is to ensure that the rotation angle remains within -90° to +90° range.

Clip Mounting (without Track)

  1. Drive in the screws (via 4.2mm [0.2”] hole).
  2. Mount the fixture onto the clips.
  3. Rotate the fixture to the desired angle.

NOTE : The installation position of the clips should be along both ends area of the fixture base, not exceeding the indicated position (i.e., the fixture housing rotation position). This is to ensure that the rotation angle remains within -90° to +90° range.

Track Mounting (Vertical)

  1. Drive in the screws.
    NOTE : The installation requires 2 mounting screws per each 300mm [1ft] track, e.g. for a 1200mm [4ft] track, 8 screws would be needed.

  2. A Rotate the lamp by 90° for easier installation of the locking screws.
    B Tighten the screws to secure the fixture.

  3. Rotate the fixture to the desired angle

Track Mounting (Inverted)

  1. Drive in the screws.
    NOTE : The installation requires 2 mounting screws per each 300mm [1ft] track, e.g. for a 1200mm [4ft] track, 8 screws would be needed.

  2. A Rotate the lamp by 90° for easier installation of the locking screws.
    B Tighten the screws to secure the fixture.

  3. Rotate the fixture to the desired angle.

Louver Plate

  1. Attach the louver plate to the fixture body slot.
  2. Please check to ensure the plate is properly attached into its correct position
    NOTE : All louver accessories are only available in 300mm [1ft] lengths. Fixture of 300mm [1ft], 600mm [2ft], 900mm [3ft] or 1200mm [4ft] length needs 1pc / 2pcs / 3pcs / 4pcs louvers respectively

Optical Film

  1. A Open one end cap of the fixture body.
    B Pull out the Optical Lens.

  2. Place the optical film flat, with the angle indicator facing upwards.

  3. Slide in the Optical Lens and secure the end cap back to its original position.

Cable Connection

Cove-to-Cove Clearance

To maintain consistent LED pitch and to allow for thermal expansion for Cove Lights: End Cap Seal on Last Cove Light Plus
The minimum distance depends on the temperature difference.
Normally, it is 5mm/0.2”

  • THE PRODUCTS MUST ONLY BE SECURED USING THE PROVIDED BRACKETS, AND OTHER UNRELIABLE FIXATION METHODS (E.G. QUICKDRYING ADHESIVE, ZIP TIE FASTENING) ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. ANY QUALITY ISSUES ARISING FROM THE USE OF UNAUTHORIZED FIXATION METHODS WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
