SRX-Pro Intelligent Video Driving Profit Server

To all of our customers and partners;
This bulletin is the official notice of the SRX-Pro Server v7.3.2.88 (Build 19-Jan-2024) release.
The new software installation package is now available for download from the i3 website: https://i3international.com/support/download.
Effective Monday, January 22, 2024 this release package will be used as the default Production software version for all standard NVRs. To continue receiving your NVRs with an earlier version of SRX-Pro/VPC v7, please speak to your RSM to arrange for a “Special Routing” to be created for your NVRs.

New Features:

• SRX-Pro Setup now available in French (Français). (#68605) To switch between English/French interface, log into the SRX-Pro Setup, click on your username in the top right-hand corner and open the Language menu.

• Support hardware watchdog function for U16 (#68605)

• Support manual camera name sync from SRX-Pro Setup to i3Ai Setup if the camera name is changed.
  (#68410) (Note: The SRX-Pro channel name is already synced automatically to i3Ai whenever Ai is enabled on the camera in the SRX-Pro Setup.)

• Support *.csv camera list Export function in SRX-Pro Setup > List (#44967 / PAR#135)

Improvements:

• Change the rules for the “CPU usage is high” alert. Display the alert only if the CPU remains high for over 1 minute (to exclude momentary CPU spikes during initial startup). (#64437 / PAR#160)

• Change the format of the export setting file from .zip to .i3z to prevent confusion. (#64731 / PAR#158)

• Ignore the bandwidth limitation setting when connecting via localhost VPC (#46311 / NCR#1769)

• Apply changes to i3 default settings: (#65329)
  o Replace a list of suggested NTP servers with two: time.windows.com and time.google.com
  o Change Panic backup destination to “Local” from “CD/DVD”, as optical drives are no longer included.
  o Change the default Recording Type to “Sequential”

• Support additional destination for LPR_CSV export (#64340)

• Show “Unsupported browser” webpage when launching SRX-Pro Server in IE (default web browser on legacy units) (#64192)

New Features in testing stage

• Support new i3Ai features (Engagement and Trajectory Anomaly) (#67250) i3Ai required, subject to licensing fees. Please contact your sales rep to learn more.
• Add pop-in installation instruction guide for FACE Management (FR8) (#65203)
• Show recently visited SRX-Pro setup pages in i3Host Home Page under “Recently Visited” (#64425)

Fixes

• Add camera page: support horizontal scroll on low resolution screens (#65864)
• Fix failed schedule upload resume (on CMS) after SRX-Pro restart. (#65250)
• On units without D:\ partition, write logs to C:\i3temp instead (#63853)
• SRX-Pro not recognizing video data older than 2 years (#69122)
• Improve stability and performance of Live/search via Relay server (#68771)
• Various fixes and performance improvements (#64714, #68915, #69062)
