B59 Back Box Mounting Base for H59 Camera Series
The B59 is an extension back box for cable management and can be used for surface, pendant or horizontal wall mounting of i3’s H59 (bullet) camera series.
- Back box for H59-series LPR camera wire management.
- Suitable for outdoor and indoor installations.
- Four (4) pre-drilled mounting holes for surface mounting (covered by black rubber plugs).
- Optional use with Pendant Mount EMT Pipe 3/4” or DB60 Horizontal Wallmount bracket.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
In addition to this manual and B59 back box, the packing box includes:
A. Round head screw, machine type x4
B. Round head screw, tapping type, with ‘O’ ring x4
C. Plastic anchor x4
D. Surface mount template x1
DIMENSIONS & DEFINITIONS
- Cable entry rubber plug
- Cover plate screws (Phillips, x4)
- Side ¾” conduit hole with metal plug
- H59 mounting holes, marked with a diamond/square markings (x4)
INSTALLATION NOTES
- Ensure that the mounting surface and mounting hardware is suitable for the chosen installation method.
- In outdoor installations, always use the waterproof RJ45 connector supplied with the camera and add sealant/silicone to all threads to maintain IP67 waterproof rating.
- If using the side conduit hole, remove the metal plug from the side conduit and install on the wall-mount side conduit opening. Do not use the rubber plug in the side conduit hole.
DISASSEMBLY
- Using Philips screwdriver, remove four screws securing the cover plate screws.
- Set the cover plate aside
SURFACE INSTALLATION
- Attach the mounting template (A) to the mounting surface. Figure E-1.
- If using the back conduit opening, drill the conduit hole for the camera cable, as marked on the template; if using the side conduit opening, skip this step.
- B59 comes with four pre-drilled holes. Depending on the type of installation and mounting surface, complete drilling 2-3 holes, as marked on the template.
- Insert anchors (B) into the holes. Figure E-2.
- Remove the rubber plugs from the holes on the back box matching the ones drilled on the mounting surface.
- Secure the back box to mounting surface using the tapping type screws (C). Figure E-2. Tighten the screws to fully compress the ‘O’ ring.
- Attach H59 bulletin camera to the back box cover plate using 4 round head machine type screws (D). Figure E-3.
- Pull the cabling into the back box.
- Re-attach the cover plate with H59 to the B59 back box using the cover plate screws (Phillips). Figure E-4.
