Product Usage Instructions

Step 1 – Unpacking and Initial Setup:
Unpack the contents from the box and connect your camera to a USB charger for a minimum of 3 hours to build the initial battery supply.

Step 2 – Download the App:
Download the EseeCloud App from the App Store on your device using the provided QR codes or by visiting www.solarlightingdirect.com.au.

Step 3 – Register and Add Device:
Register on the app and follow the onscreen instructions. Add your device to the app once registration is complete.

Step 4 – Camera Setup:
Locate the USB-C plug behind the rubber grommet on the underside of the camera mount. Connect your solar panel to the camera using this plug.

Step 5 – Power On:
Remove the rubber grommet to access the on/off power switch. Turn on the camera. Ensure to re-instate the grommet for protection from rain and water.

Congratulations on the purchase of your TitN Stand-alone Solar Security Smart Camera with either integrated WiFi or 4G capabilities! We hope you enjoy the easy-to-do DIY installation and set-up processes as we have outlined in a step by step instructions for you below.

CAMERA SET-UP

CAMERA SET-UP & USER GUIDE
Step 1 – Unpack the contents from the box and familiarise yourself with all components (At this step it is advisable to connect your camera to a USB charger using the supplied cable for a minimum of 3 hours to build the initial base battery supply for your camera).

Please Note : Whilst you can fix the mounting bracket for your camera and solar panel into their desired locations, it is advisable to not yet install your camera until set up and network establishment is complete. Please keep your smart camera near your local WiFi modem or router to ensure maximum signal quality during setup.

Step 2 – Using either of the QR codes below or by visiting the App Store on your device download the “EseeCloud” App

Step 3 – Once downloaded, click on the register button follow the onscreen instructions, and establish yourself either by using your email address or mobile number. If using your mobile number, please enter it in this format: + symbol followed by your Country Code then your mobile number without the first 0. For example, if you are in Australia and your mobile number is 0400 000 000 you would enter it as +61 400 000 000
Step 4 – Once registered and confirmed you will be prompted to now add your device.
Step 5 – Remove the rubber waterproof grommet from the underside of your camera mount where you see the words “USB” & “Power” and locate the on/off power switch and turn on.

Please ensure you re-instate the rubber grommet after doing so to maintain protection from rain and water. Your camera will let out a series of chimes and instruct you to configure the network.
Step 6 – Open the Eseecloud app on your smart device and click on the “add smart device” button in the bottom center of your screen – you will hear an audio message saying “A device to be added has been found, please click on the add device button to confirm” so click on the add device button.
Step 7 – Your Wifi or 4G Smart Camera (subject to the model you have purchased) should automatically be selected with a green tick, if you are close to your local WiFi network it too should be displayed and you will be prompted to enter the password for the local WiFi network, so please do this now and click connect.

Step 8 – You will hear several audio messages with the final one saying that the “wireless connection is successful”, please allow the App to continue configuring your camera and local network (this process may take 3-5 minutes to complete). It’s important to note that once this process is complete and after hearing the message that your wireless connection is successful, the app once finished configuring may notify you that the process was unsuccessful. This is an error and is to be ignored at this point.
Step 9 – Your device is now configured and ready to view. So simply click out of the App and then back in.
Step 10 – Now you can view live, alter, configure, and change all or any of the settings on your camera via the App.
Step 11 – Please complete your installation by clicking the camera in the mounting bracket and connecting the cable from your solar panel to the USB-C charging port located on the bottom of your camera mount

Please Note – If you are changing the location of your smart camera or need to change the local WiFi network that you are connecting to, you will need to carry out the following process;

Part A – Locate and remove the rubber grommet at the bottom of your camera where you see the words “Reset T/F Card” and hold down the reset button for approx. 5 seconds or until you hear the following audible message “Restore factory settings, the camera will restart automatically, please configure the network” Please ensure you re-instate the rubber grommet after doing so to maintain protection from rain and water

SlotPart B – Now open the app on your smart device and repeat steps 6 to 10 once again.

Finally, if you haven’t already, complete the installation by mounting your solar panel in a location where it will receive a minimum of 6hrs direct sunlight each day and connect it to your camera using the USB-C plug located behind the rubber grommet on the underside of your camera mount where you see the words “USB

“TitN” is now ready to be used!

Sharing the Device with Multiple Users:
The user who installs the camera will be referred to as the ‘camera owner’ and the device will be bound to their account. Follow the steps below to share the device with other users;

  • Part I – Any person you want to share the device with will first need to follow Steps 1 to 3.
  • Part II – The camera owner will then open their app and navigate to the camera screen and select ‘Share’.

Part III – The owner will then be prompted to set permissions and usage time for each additional user and this will generate a QR code for the new user to scan and add the device to their account.
