Ermenrich NG60 Gas Detector
Please carefully read the safety instructions and the user manual before using this product. Keep away from children. Use the device only as specified in the user manual.
The kit includes: gas detector, USB cable, adapter for charging, aluminum carry case, user manual, and warranty.
Charging the device
This device uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Connect the power cable to the device and the DC adapter via a USB plug and connect it to the AC power supply to charge the device. Fully charge for 6–8 hours. For fast charging, turn the device off. Working battery time is 16–18 hours.
Always turn off your device before charging it. Do not charge the device in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Getting started
Press the power button (5) and hold it for 3 seconds to turn the device
on/off. The device will start the self-check: the LED indicators will blink
twice, the device will emit a short vibration signal and then will beep twice.
After the self-check, the device will display the preset information for low
alarm value, high alarm value, and the detection range upper limit value for
combustible gas, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide in sequence.
Settings
Press the power button (5) to enter the menu, to enter a submenu, to confirm
the selection, and to save changes. Press the left (4) and right (6) buttons
to scroll through the menu. You can view and set the time and date, and you
can view the battery status. You can set a 4-digit password to prevent the
device from accidental operation.
Zero adjustment
You can adjust the zero setting according to the actual detection value.
Enter the zero trim submenu, select the gas type, the value, and unit of
measurement. Then, save the adjusted value. For example, if the displayed
value is 3 instead of 0, you can set –0004 and save this value: after that the
displayed detection value will be 0.
Alarm records
You can view or clear the previous alarm records in the Alarm Rec (Alarm
records) section of the menu.
Alarm records view
To switch between records, press left (4) and right (6) buttons.
Alarm records deletion
To clear the alarm value, press the left button (4) and select OK. To cancel
deletion, press the right button (6) and select Quit (Cancel).
Usage
Gas detection mode is set by default. The system returns to the gas detection
mode after 5 seconds of idle time. The device will automatically analyze the
gas environment and display the result on the screen.
Normal gas concentration
If the gas concentration is below the low alarm value, the detection result
will be displayed on the screen.
Abnormal gas concentration
If the gas concentration is above the alarm value, the LED indicators and the
backlight will light on, the device will vibrate and emit a beeping sound, and
the current detection value will be displayed on the screen.
