CROSS-SECTIONAL VIEWS
- Parts included with mounting boxes: >Black ABS surface or flush mount box >Mounting instructions >Flush Mount Bracket & Adjustment Screws (480-1FB Model only).
- 480-1SB SURFACE MOUNT: Hollow Wall or Solid Wall 1] Drill pilot holes in the mounting surface (use Mounting Box as template). 2] Insert the appropriate fastener (screw, toggle, etc.) through the box and into the mounting surface; tighten. 3] Complete installation of the switch.
- 480-1FB FLUSH MOUNT: Hollow Wall ONLY 1] Cut access hole into the mounting surface 2” wide by 5″ tall. 2] Insert the box into the access hole with the Flush Mount Bracket loosely mounted on the box. 3] Tighten the Adjustment Screws to secure Flush Mount Bracket against the back surface of the hollow wall. 4] Complete installation of the switch.
Product Usage Instructions
480-1SB Surface Mount Installation
- Drill pilot holes in the mounting surface using the Mounting Box as a template.
- Insert the appropriate fastener (screw, toggle, etc.) through the box and into the mounting surface; tighten securely.
- Complete the installation of the switch following the provided instructions.
480-1FB Flush Mount Installation
- Cut an access hole into the mounting surface measuring 2″ wide by 5″ tall.
- Insert the box into the access hole with the Flush Mount The bracket is loosely mounted on the box.
- Tighten the Adjustment Screws to secure the Flush Mount Bracket against the back surface of the hollow wall.
- Complete the installation of the switch following the provided instructions.
