OPERATION
Carefully unpack the unit and remove all packaging materials. Place the unit on a flat, heat resistant, non-flammable surface. Clean the surface of any dust with a damp cloth and remove any stickers (except for any warning/caution stickers).
Operating Instructions:
- Connect the power adapter and the display will flash before going on standby.
- Press and hold “POWER” for 2 seconds to get the appliance ready. Press “POWER” again to switch off.
- Slide the left side slider to set heating temperature and the appliance will enter heating mode.
- Press “TIME+” or “TIME-” to set time: the display will show the set time, then flicker to indicate is being confirmed, after which it will enter countdown mode.
Note: The appliance will beep to confirm each input.
If the display shows “E1”, “E2” or “E3”, this indicates it has detected a fault: contact Kogan.com

CLEANING & CARE
- Disconnect from power and ensure the appliance has cooled before cleaning.
- Do not submerse the machine in water for cleaning directly and don’t use abrasive materials.
- Most substances should be able to be wiped clean once the appliance has cooled.
- It is recommended to clean the heating surface soon as possible after use (ensuring appliance has first cooled) to avoid substances drying.
- For lingering substances or burnt matter, apply a gentle spray of water (using a spray bottle) on the heating surface while operating the device at a low temperature for one minute. Turn the device off and disconnect from the power outlet before continuing to clean.
- Keep the surface clean and protected from scratches.
- Store in a dry space when not in use.
Using Drip Tray
For optimal use of the drip tray, ensure the metal stand beneath the appliance is unhooked so that the appliance sits at an incline. This will allow oil to flow directly into the oil drip tray.
Note:
- This can be performed while grilling, or while cleaning the surface after cooking has concluded and the appliance has cooled.
- Do not perform this step while boiling, barbecuing, frying, or during any other use with the exception of grilling.
