SAFETY & WARNINGS
- Read all instructions carefully before use.
- Ensure the voltage supplied matches the requirements indicated on the rating plate of the heater.
- Do not operate this appliance if the cable or plug has become damaged.
- Keep the appliance and cable away from other sources of heat, sharp objects or anything else that may cause damage.
- If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Kogan.com in order to avoid a hazard.
- Ensure the appliance is switched off before connecting to the mains power supply.
- Switch off the power supply at the switch and remove the plug from the outlet when the heater is not in use, is being cleaned or undergoing any other maintenance.
- To disconnect the heater, switch it off, then remove the plug from the outlet. Do not pull on the cord to disconnect the plug.
- The heater must not be located immediately below its power socket.
- Do not operate in areas where fuel, paint or any other flammable liquids are used or stored.
- This heater is for indoor use only.
- In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, never block the air intakes or exhaust vents in any manner.
- Do not touch any hot surfaces directly.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter into any ventilation or exhaust openings, as this may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
- Always ensure that your hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switches on the product or touching the plug and socket-outlet
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heater.
- Do not leave the heater unattended while it is in use.
- The most common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff in the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by disconnecting the appliance from the power supply, then vacuum cleaning the air vents and grilles.
- Do not place the heater on carpet and don’t place the cable under carpets. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas so that it will not be tripped over.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Do not store away until the heater cools down, store the heater in cool dry location when not in use.

Control Panel & Remote Control Functions
Note:
The functions on the Control Panel correspond to the remote control.
INSTALLATION
Portable Installation
Attach the feet using the supplied 8x ST4’1<12mm screws.
Wall Mounting
- Assemble the bracket using the screws as per Image 1 below.
- Using the bracket as a guide for the holes, drill into the wall and insert the plastic expanded plugs. Attach the bracket to the wall with screws. (Image 2)
- Place the heater in a suitable position, ensuing that the holes align with the bracket. (Image 3)
- Tighten screws on the top of bracket to secure. (Image 4)
- Ensure the product is securely installed in the correct position and the power cord is undamaged before its first use.
OPERATION
Plug into the power socket and turn on the main switch.
Power Function
Press ” ” to set functions. The upper part of the display will show the room temperature. The heater will be working at low power heating conditions.
Mode
Press ” ” to switch between low or high temperature power.
Temperature Selection
Press”+” or “-” to select the desired temperature from a range of15°-35°C. The temperature indicator will remain lit for a while.
Timer
Press the timer button “ ” to select the desired range between 1 hour to 24 hours. The display will show the remaining time.
Child Lock
Press the child lock button for 3 seconds and “ ” will be displayed on the screen. Until you press the child lock button for 3 seconds again, the only command which will work is power.
Kogan SmarterHome™ Setup
Your heater will enter pairing mode automatically when turned on. If it is not, then you can power it off and on again or press and hold the mode button (“ “) for approximately 5 seconds to reset it.
APP INSTALLATION
Download the “Kogan SmarterHome™” opp from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a
verification code sent by SMS.
To register:
- Tap to enter registration page.
- The system automatically recognises your country/area. You can also select your country code manually. Enter your mobile phone number/email address and tap “Next”.
- If you choose the mobile phone number option, then enter the verification code in the message sent to you by SMS. Set a password as prompted and press “Confirm” to finish your registration.
Add Device through Network

Power the SmarterHome™ device on and follow the product-specific instructions to enter the Wi-Fi-connect mode.
The heater will enter pairing mode automatically when turned on. If it is not, then you can power it off and on again or press and hold the mode button for approximately 5 seconds to reset it -
Open Kogan SmarterHome™ opp and tap”+” in the upper right to add a new device through the network.

Ensure the device’s indicator light rapidly flashes and tap “Confirm light is rapidly flashing”.

Select Wi-Fi network (note: network must be 2.4GHz band) and enter the password. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the opp.
5. After successfully configuring the devices, the device will be shown on the home page. Top to enter its control page.
Note:
- When device is online, it can be controlled.
- When device is offline, it displays “Offline” and cannot be remotely powered on.
GOOGLE HOME CONTROL
Note: You will need to have set up a Google Home account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome™ device.
- Select “Menu” and then “Home Control”.
- In the “Home Control” screen, select the”+” icon in the bottom right.
- A list will appear showing actions and a search function to access more apps: from here, install the SmarterHome™ opp.
4. Log into your SmarterHome™ account with your email address or mobile number.
5. Once linked, it will show the devices linked to your account: you can assign them to rooms. You will be prompted to authorise apps to sync.
6. Click “Done” and then it will give you a list of commands available.
7. When successfully linked, you will see it on your “Home Control” screen at the bottom of the opp screen. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome TM devices through Google Home.
ALEXA
Note: You will need to have set up an Alexa account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome™ device.
- Select “Menu” and then “Skills”.
- Search for the opp and enable it.
- Log into your SmarterHome™account with your email address or mobile number.
- Select “Discover Devices” and the opp will begin searching.
- When successfully linked, you will see a list of connected Kogan SmarterHome™ devices. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome™ devices through Alexa with your voice.
