Safety Tips

Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.

Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

BUFFALO prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of
packaging the contents are supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your BUFFALO
dealer immediately.
Installation
- Remove all packaging, taking care to dispose of all polythene bags safely.
- Check the product for any transit damage, do not use if there is damage to the product or accessories.
- Wipe bread roll spikes to remove any transit or manufacturing residues.
- Wash the glass jar, lid, hot dog basket, and water dish, in warm soapy water, then dry thoroughly.
- Insert Water Dish into the Hot Dog Warmer body and then add water above the MIN fill indicator (200ML) or to a capacity of 80% of the Dish.
- Place the Glass Jar over the Water Dish, place the Hot Dog Basket into the Glass Jar and fit Lid to the Jar.

Operation
- Fill Basket with Hot Dogs, place the basket in the jar, and put the lid on the jar.
- Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
- Turn on the ON/OFF switch for the water dish.
- Set the temperature control knob to the desired setting. The appliance begins to heat up.
- When water is being heated, the indicator light will come on until the set temperature is reached, then the indicator light will go out. The power/heating element will come back on when the temperature of the water drops, the indicator light will come on and heating will continue until the set temperature is reached again.
- Remove hot dogs from the jar as required.
- Bread rolls can be warmed on the pins. Carefully push the roll down onto the pin then turn on the corresponding/OFF switch to warm.
Thermal Protection Reset Button
- This appliance is fitted with thermal protection device to protect the unit from damage due to overheating, low water, etc. The RESET BUTTON is located on the rear of the unit.
- If the unit overheats, allow cooling then reset by removing the cover and pressing the button.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Before cleaning takes place, the Warmer should be disconnected from the
electricity supply by removing the plug from the socket.
• Do not attempt to clean the warmer or parts until they have completely
cooled.
• Water Dish, Glass Jar, and Lid should be washed in soapy water, then
thoroughly rinsed after every session of use.
• Other areas of the Warmer should be wiped down with a clean, damp cloth, or
using a food-safe antibacterial cleaner.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
- Live wire (colored brown) to the terminal marked L
- Neutral wire (colored blue) to the terminal marked N
- Earth wire (colored green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

event of any emergency disconnection being required, they must be readily
accessible.
