IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Read all instructions.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Only touch a handle or knob.

To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cable, plugs or main unit in water or any other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when it is not in use and before cleaning it. Allow the appliance to cool before attaching or removing parts.
-
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cable or plug or when the appliance has malfunctioned or been damaged in any way. Return the appliance to the nearest authorised service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let the cable hang over the edge of a table or work surface or touch hot surfaces.

Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
-
Extreme caution must be exercised when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

Always attach the cable to the appliance first, then plug it into the wall power outlet. To disconnect the appliance, turn any control to ‘off’, then remove the plug from the wall power outlet.

Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.

Do not cook on a damaged cooker. If the cooker is damaged, cleaning solution or spillages may penetrate the cooker and create a risk of electric shock.

Exercise caution when cleaning the cooker. If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burns. Some cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.

Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons or lids on the cooking plate, as they can get hot.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. -
a) A short power supply cable is to be provided so as to reduce risks associated with longer cables such as entanglement and tripping.
b) Longer extension cables are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long extension cable is used:
- the marked electrical rating of the extension cable must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
- the longer cable must be arranged so that it will not drape off the work surface or table top creating a risk that it will be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.

NOTICE:
This appliance has a polarised plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarised power outlet one way only. If the plug does not fit fully into the
power outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

- Connect the power plug to a safe and secure power source. The unit will emit a ‘beep’ sound; the LED display will show ‘C’ to indicate that the appliance is connected to a power source.
- Place an item of induction-compatible cookware on the glass plate.
- Press the on/off button, which will light up; the LED display will show ‘ON’ and the appliance will enter standby mode.
Modes:
I. Cooking mode
Press the function button The ‘hot pot’ function indicator will light up and the LED display will show ‘1600’, which means the ‘hot pot’ function is selected for cooking mode and the working power is 1600W. The function indicator light will shift to the right with every press. When the cooker starts, the default function settings are selected, as described below:
For the ‘S.Fry’ and ‘Hot Pot’ functions, you can press the ‘+’ or ‘-’ button to adjust the temperature / power as described in the table above.
II. Milk mode
In standby mode or with another mode selected, press the ‘milk’ button. The
indicator will light up and the LED display will show ‘60C’, which means the
working temperature is the ‘milk’ mode’s default value of 60°C. The appliance
will shut down automatically after 15 minutes if no other operating
instruction is given.
To cancel this mode, press a button to switch to another mode or press the ‘on/off’ button to completely stop the appliance operating.
III. Keep warm mode
In standby mode or with another mode selected, press the ‘keep warm’ button.
The indicator will light up and the LED display will show ‘80C’, which means
the working temperature is the ‘keep warm’ mode’s default value of 80°C. The
appliance will shut down automatically after 2 hours if no other operating
instruction is given.
To cancel this mode, press a button to switch to another mode or press the ‘on/off’ button to completely stop the appliance operating.
IV. Timer mode
The user can set the cooking time when a specific cooking function is
selected. Press the ‘Timer’ button; the ‘Timer’ indicator will light up. The
display will show the default time ‘30’, and the user can then press the ‘+’
or ‘-’ button to set the desired time; the buttons adjust the time in 1-minute
increments. If you press and hold the ‘+’ or ‘-’ button, the minutes will be
adjusted in 10-minute increments. The time can be adjusted to a value between
1 minute and 240 minutes. After setting the time, the user can press the
‘Timer’ button once to confirm, or simply wait until the display stops
flashing. When the ‘beep’ signal is heard, the appliance will automatically
stop operating and go into standby mode at the end of a countdown. To cancel
this behaviour, the user can either press the ‘on/off’ button to return to
standby mode or press and hold the ‘Timer’ button to resume operation at the
same power or temperature.
V. Child lock mode
To prevent children from turning the cooker on accidentally or changing the
cooking settings, press the ‘Child Lock’ button for a few seconds. The ‘Child
Lock’ indicator will light up and the cooker will no longer respond to power
level, temperature or timer changes. You can press
the ‘Child Lock’ button either when the cooker is operating or when it is
turned off.
When the child lock is on, the only button that will function is the ‘on/off’ button. To cancel the child lock, press the ‘Child Lock’ button for at least 3 seconds. The light will go off and the child lock will be cancelled.
Selection of Cookware
- Material and shape required:
- Flat-bottom pans/pots with a bottom diameter of between 12cm and 26cm in steel, cast iron, enamelled iron or stainless steel.
- Use cookware of the required type. Do not try to use other types of cookware (especially pressure cookers).
2. Follow the requirements below regarding use of cookware.
- Any pan/pot used must be suitable for the induction cooker.
- A pan/pot should be tried out after purchase to see if there are any unusual phenomena.
- When purchasing a pan/pot, ensure that it is flat and comes with a cover that has a vent.
Maintenance and daily care

Remove the power plug from the power outlet before cleaning the appliance. Do not clean the appliance until its surface has cooled down.

Glass plate, display panel and casing:
① Soft cloth for slight staining.
② For grease or dirt, blot with a clean, damp cloth and a neutral detergent. -
When the fan runs, dust and dirt will gather on the vent; clean it with a brush or cotton bud regularly.

To avoid damaging the appliance, remember not to wash it with water directly.

To protect the induction cooker, ensure that there is good contact between the plug and the power outlet before using it the appliance.

Do not pull the power cable during operation. To extend the appliance’s lifespan, press the ‘on/off’ button before pulling the plug out of the power outlet.

It will also extend the appliance’s life if you wait until the fan has finished cooling the plate and stopped running before unplugging the appliance.

Please unplug the appliance and store it when it is not going to be used for a long time.

Some models have a structural design that protects against cockroaches, but, if necessary, something like mothballs can also be put with the appliance in storage to deter cockroaches.
Any servicing should be performed by an authorised service representative.
Troubleshooting and Treatment
During operation of the appliance, if any error occurs, please check the following table before calling for service. Below are some common errors and relevant checks to perform.
If the above remedies/actions do not fix the problem, unplug the appliance immediately and contact Service Centre for inspection and repair having noted the error code so that you can report it to Service Centre Ltd. To avoid dangers and damage to the appliance, do not disassemble it or attempt to repair it yourself.
