General

Read this manual thoroughly before first use. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the appliance. Keep these instructions for future reference and pass them on to possible new owners of the appliance.

WARNING : To avoid the risk of electrical shock, always make sure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning or servicing.

Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Improper use may lead to hazards.

This appliance is intended for normal household use only. It is not intended for outdoor use.

Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than described in this manual.

No liability shall be incurred for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid hazards. -
This appliance should not be used with electrical extension cords, as these will greatly increase risks of fire and/or electrical shock.

Avoid running extension cords across doorways or under carpets and rugs. Make sure that cords are not placed in areas where people may trip over them.

Avoid touching the appliance when it is running.

Keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children when it is in operation.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Never operate the appliance unattended.

Never insert your fingers, pencils or any other objects through the fan covers when the fan is running. Never drop or insert objects into any of the fan’s openings.

Do not operate the appliance if the front and rear fan covers are damaged or not securely tightened.

Do not under any circumstances attempt to repair the appliance yourself. For servicing and repairs, contact our aftersales service team to arrange a repair or replacement.

The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.

Do not operate this appliance near flammable materials (e.g. curtains, textiles or walls). Never cover the appliance. Ensure that there is always a sufficient safe distance from flammable materials.

WARNING : Do not use this appliance near water or heavy moisture; e.g. in a damp basement or beside a swimming pool or bathtub.

Never submerge the appliance in water.

In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the appliance to fire (fireplace, grill, candles, cigarettes etc.) or water (water drops, water splashes, vases, tubs, ponds etc.).

To avoid injuries, make sure your hands are completely dry before using the appliance.

After cleaning, make sure the appliance and parts are completely dry before using it again.

To ensure a longer lifespan, avoid using the fan 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Power supply and charging -
Before first use, make sure the power voltage matches the information on the rating label of this appliance.
-
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service agent or a similarly qualified person.
-
WARNING: The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

Do not attempt to modify this plug or attempt to defeat its safety feature in any way.

Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table counters or allow it to touch hot surfaces.

The power plug is used to disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Please ensure that the power plug is in an operable condition.

Removing the power plug is the only way to completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Disconnect from the power supply by pulling the power plug. Do not pull on the power cord.
-
Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Do not plug in the power cord or operate the appliance with wet hands.
-
Disconnect the power plug when the appliance is not in use, in case of malfunctions, prior to attaching accessories and prior to each cleaning.

USB Desk Fan
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Unpack and remove all packaging materials from the appliance and accessories.
- Check for damage that may have occurred during transport. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance and return it to your retail outlet immediately.
- Clean the appliance before first use. See ‘CLEANING AND CARE’ section.
ASSEMBLING THE 18” HIGH VELOCITY FAN
- Turn the adjustment knobs (2) (9) counterclockwise to remove them from the front and rear fan covers (5) (6) and fan blade (4).
- Press down the pin (12) on the right pipe (11) and insert the left pipe (1) into the right pipe (11) until the pin (12) snaps into the round hole (13).
- Secure the metal fan head by inserting the left and right adjustment knobs (2) (9) through the left and right pipes (1) (11) and rubber grommets (3) (10) into the fan covers (5) (6).
- Turn the adjustment knobs (2) (9) clockwise to secure in place.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
18” High Velocity Fan
- Place the metal fan on a flat, dry and stable surface.
- Make sure the rotary switch knob (7) is at the “0” (OFF) position.
- Connect the power cord to a 120 V/AC / 60 Hz wall outlet.
- Adjust the metal fan vertically to the desired angle.
- Adjust the metal fan speed by turning the rotary switch knob (7) to the “1” (Low), “2” (Medium) or “3” (High) position.
- Turn off the metal fan by switching the rotary switch knob (7) to the “0” (OFF) position.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when the fan is not in use.
USB Desk Fan

Unwind the USB cable (19) attached to the personal fan.
-
Connect the personal fan to the power supply. You can do this in two ways:
– Insert one end of the supplied USB cable (19) into a USB port on your computer, or
– Insert one end of the supplied USB cable (19) into the supplied power adapter, and then plug the power adapter into a 120 V/AC / 60 Hz wall outlet. -
To turn on the personal fan, switch the ON/OFF button (18) to I. To turn off the personal fan, switch the ON/OFF button (18) to O and disconnect the power adapter from the power supply
CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING : Make sure you have turned the appliance off and unplugged it from the power supply.

For the 18” metal fan, you can either
a) Use a vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air to clean the appliance without dissembling it, and then use a dry cloth to wipe it dry; or
b) Clean it by removing the front fan cover (5):
– Remove the 8 screws on the front fan cover (5) with a magnetic-tipped screwdriver.
– Remove the front fan cover (5) by rotating it counterclockwise to loosen the screws. The fan blade (4) and rear fan cover (6) cannot be removed.
– After cleaning, replace the front fan cover (5) by rotating it clockwise, and then tighten the screws.
– Wipe the fan blade (4) and the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent solution. Allow them to dry completely before using the appliance again. -
For the 4” USB fan:
a) Vacuum the fan without dissembling the personal fan grille (15).
Note:
- Clean the fan on a regular basis.
- Never clean the fan with abrasive or volatile cleaners such as alcohol, thinners and polishing powder.
- Do not allow water or any other liquids to get into the motor housing.

Proper disposal of this product.
