Matters Needing Attention in Using the Dash Cam

• This product is an auxiliary (vehicle driving recorder) product for safe driving. Any loss caused by malfunction, information loss or using this product is irrelevant to our company.
• This product is an auxiliary device for recording external images of vehicles. Due to the different driving environments and vehicle environment, some functions will not support. The unscheduled firmware upgrade in order to improve the product will change the performance of the product, and sometimes the camera will not record due to the environment, so the driving images recorded in this product is for reference only. The state of TF card will also lead to the camera cannot record.
• Although this product can record and save the videos of accidents, it does not guarantee that all the accident videos can be recorded. Slight collision accidents can’t start the collision sensor, so the video may not be recorded in the specialized folder.
• Be sure to disconnect the power supply when inserting or pulling out the TF memory card.
• For the safety of product stability, please format the TF card at least once a week.
• General TF cards have a lifetime, Long-term use may cause data to be unsaved. In this case, it is recommended to buy a new TF card to use, and our company will not be liable for data destruction caused by long-term use.
• Please do not install or operate this product while driving.
• This device may disturb the function of improperly protected medical equipment. If you have any questions or are uncertain whether the medical equipment can shield external RF energy, please consult your doctor or medical equipment manufacturer.
• Please do not make this product subject to strong impact or vibration, so as not to damage the product and cause malfunction or unavailable.
•  Please do not use it in an environment with excessive dust density, so as to prevent cameras and other parts from being contaminated with dust, which will affect the video effect.
• Please stop using this product before cleaning and maintenance.
•  Please do not use chemical solvents or detergents to clean this product.
•  Please do not unauthorized disassemble or modify this product.
•  The ambient temperature range for the normal use of this device’s function is -20 to 65 degrees Celsius. Exceeding this temperature range may lead to product malfunction, an outbreak of fire, or an explosion.
•  Please use it within the scope permitted by law.

Mobile Phone APP Installation and Operation Instructions

WiFi APP is a mobile phone control software used with Vsysto DVR devices. This software is connected to the DVR device via Wi-Fi, it can directly review and playback the video on the mobile phone, easily realize that viewing the camera documents on the screen of mobile phone, setting or other operations. Subverting the control method of traditional cameras, bring you a new experience.

Conditions of use and product association:
1. Smart terminal with Android 5.0 or higher or Apple terminal.
2. Purchase a recorder terminal device that uses the Vsysto design scheme, and connect the mobile phone WiFi to the camera correctly

♦ Time of Synchronous DVR
After WiFi connection between the mobile phone and the DVR, open the APP, and the time of the mobile phone and the time of the DVR have been
synchronized when “Instruction succeeded” prompted (as shown in the figure below)

♦ Live Preview (video/photo)
After connecting the DVR WiFi with a mobile phone, open the APP, click “Connect Device” to enter the video preview status. In the video preview status, it is feasible to control the DVR to record and take photos ( If there is a rear camera, Click [ ] to switch front and rear camera images) Click[ “] to switch to full-screen display (as the picture shown below).

♦ Browse DVR Files
Click to browse files in the DVR memory card (see the figure as below)

Replay the DVR Files
Browsing the DVR file interface in the “Online” option, click the file which you want to replay. Click [ ] on the upper left to switch files of the front and rear camera, F represents the front camera and R represents the rear camera.

♦ Download or Delete DVR Files
Browsing the DVR file interface in the “Online” option, click II to select the file which you want to download or delete and then click “Save” or “Delete” below as needed (see the figure below)

Local Files Management
Click to enter the browsing interface of local files to replay/delete the files LOC
stored in the mobile phone, and the operation is similar to the online interface (see the figure below) DVR Parameter Setting
Click ‘ to enter the parameter setting interface of the DVR to set some parameters of the DVR in the APP. Among them, you can set the WiFi name and password of the DVR in SetSSID (as shown below)

Quick Installation Guide

Preliminary Test
1. Connect cam 1&2 to DVR host.
2. Find the special USB power cable and connecting to your power bank or USB adaptor to do a quick test before installation.
3. Prepare installation if everything looks good.
X Instructions of the matched 12V-»5V power module
Normal Version: Connect the red wire to battery positive, black wire to battery negative, yellow wire to the 12V port controlled by key ignition (ACC port).
Smart Version: The same connection with normal version but please waggle the power module (black box) around every 3 minutes to trigger the power supply, otherwise the electricity will be cut off automatically.

1. Locating the proper place to fix the front & rear camera, wired controller (optional), GPS tracker(optional), and a main unit (normally placed under the seat).
2. Planning the path of camera cable, wired controller cable, GPS tracker cable, and power cable before installation.
3. Fix and connect these parts with 3M tape, screws, cable ties in the proper place.
4.1 Normal power module: Connect the red wire to battery positive, black wire to battery negative, yellow wire to the 12V port controlled by key ignition (ACC port).
2 Smart power module: The same connection with normal one but need to disconnect the “U” terminal cable from power module before fixing them to the battery well, in case of damaging the DVR caused by the unsteady power supply.
Different motorcycle has different installation way, different DVR model has different cable connection definition (The diagram is for reference only)
The position of the main unit and lens cable should be away from the high- voltage circuit like a xenon lamp, ignition plug, etc.
If your motorcycle is a traditional carburetor system please try to change a suitable R-value ignition plug when you meet the interference phenomenon.

Quick Adjustment
1. Release the lens cap, view the screen, and rotate the lens body to adjust the horizontal view angle2. G)Normal power module: The DVR will be turned on/ off while the engine is on/ off.
2 Smart power module: The DVR will be turned on while the engine start; The DVR will be turned off after the engine flameout 3 minutes later.

Damping Bracket

Cameras

During installation, it is recommended to install the extension cable first and then connect the main unit and camera separately (so that the installation is easier). If the distance between the main unit and the camera is less than 0.5 meters, it is recommended not to use the camera extension cable (please keep the camera extension cable for future needs).

View the screen or smartphone screen via WiFi and adjust the bracket around to find a suitable horizontal view angle before being fixed by double-sided foam tape.
The Double-sided foam tape fixing is a reliable way if the camera is fixed upward Please adjust the camera till you are satisfied with the camera status before fixing by the double-sided foam tape)
Screws fixing is also recommended if the camera fixed downward

Battery Power Cable (optional)

Connect the red wire to the battery anode, connect the black wire to the battery cathode before connecting the “U” shape terminal cable to the power module in case of damaging the module by the unsteady voltage generated by fixing the “U” shape terminal

Fix the power module to a proper place of your motorcycle with the double- sided foam tape

ACC Power Cable (optional)

Connect the red wire to the battery anode, Connect the black wire to the battery cathode, connect the yellow wire to a 12V wire that is controlled by your key

Fix the wired controller to a proper place of your motorcycle with the double- sided foam tape

Wired Controller

Wired controller indicator light description:
Slow flash-normal video recording of DVR
Quick flash-after pressing the wired controller, the emergency video will be started and the front and rear cameras will take a picture at the same time,
and the indicator light will flash quickly. When the current emergency video is recorded, the wired controller will resume the slow flashing state.
Constant light-DVR is in the standby state
Note : The files generated by the wired controller will be named with “KEY”

Fix the wired controller to a proper place of your motorcycle with the double- sided foam tape

Fix the GPS module to a proper place of your motorcycle with the double-sided foam tape (Attention: The “GPS” icon must face to the sky directly without any barrier, in case of the signal be shielded)

Installation Process| Installation, wiring, fixed cameras| Try to keep away the engine and high voltage package when installing the cameras cables. The front and rear cameras must be installed in a strong location that has little vibration.
ACC power cable installation| The red wire is connected to the positive electrode of the battery, the black wire is connected to the negative electrode, and the yellow wire is connected to the ACC which is controlled by the key. The ACC position is generally below the lock. If you can’t find it, please go to the repair shop to install it.
GPS module installation| It is recommended to place the GPS module in an open location at the front or rear of the vehicle. Place the three letters which are on the GPS towards the sky, and the installation position should not be close to the cameras.
Wired controller installation| It is recommended to install it near the handlebar of the motorcycle to observe the video recording status of the DVR during driving conveniently and to operate the wired controller conveniently.
