Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Determine Key Cut Depth
- Determine the key cut depth corresponding to the appropriate tumbler (#1-5) as shown in Figure 1. Note down the key cut depths in the order of stations.
Step 2: Assembly
- Refer to the provided diagram and insert the tumbler springs (10) and appropriate tumblers (9) into the designated slots on the cylinder (2).

Assembly
- STEP 1: Determine the key cut depth that corresponds to the appropriate tumbler (#1-5) (refer to Figure 1). Write down the key cut depths, in terms of the depth code, not the actual measurements of the depths, in the following order:

STEP 2: Insert the small spring (8) and then the positioning pin (5) into the groove located in the housing (1).

STEP 3: Insert tumbler springs (10) and appropriate tumblers (9) into the slots located on the cylinder (2).
- STEP 4: Insert the key and verify that the tumblers (9) sit flush with the cylinder (2) outer surface. Apply grease (12) to the tumbler slots and insert it into the housing (1).
- STEP 5: Rotate the cylinder (2) within the housing (1) several times to ensure the grease (12) is distributed uniformly.
- STEP 6: Place the big spring (7) in the hole in the cylinder (2) and then install the trap door (6).
- STEP 7: Remove the key and snap the housing cover (3) over the housing (1). Bend the four tabs on the housing cover (3) inwards towards the centre of the housing (1).
Removal Instructions
- STEP 1: If the vehicle is equipped with PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System), remove the original e-clip retainer (11) and remove the lever offset and PATS sensor.
- STEP 2: Insert the key and turn to the RUN or ACC position. Using a suitable tool, press the release pin through the access hole while pulling out the lock cylinder assembly.
- STEP 3: To perform installation, follow the above steps in reverse.
