VSYSTO K5X 2K Helmet Camera for Motorcycle Bike

OVERVIEW

VSYS K5X will be your best partner when shooting outdoors while riding on the motorcycle or bicycle. The camera records 2304 X 1296@30fps MOV/H.264 high- resolution videos. A 170-degree lens has a 170° angle fisheye design for a wide field of view and rotates 360 degrees. The camera also features IPX4 water resistance and a WiFi connection which you can use it recording every moment of your journey.

OPERATION

Power On
Press and hold down the power button, the red/blue light will be on, and the motor will vibrate for 3 seconds. Then after the blue light starts flashing slowly and the motor vibrates once, the recorder will start recording.

Power Off
In recording mode, press and hold the power button, the motor will vibrate three times and the red/blue light will flash slowly three times, then the recorder will power off and stop recording.

Battery level indicator

  • When the machine is on, short press the power button once.
  • The red light flashes once, the power is 25%.
  • The red light flashes twice, the battery is 50%.
  • The red light flashes three times, the battery level is 75%.
  • The red light flashes four times, the power is 100%.

Low Battery Mode
When the battery voltage is low, the motor will vibrate three times, the red/blue light will flash slowly three times, and then the recorder will automatically shut down.

Charging Mode
Plug the Type C connector into the charger (5V/2A), the device enters charging mode, and the red light flashes slowly. When the battery is fully charged, the red light will be always on. The recorder supports video recording while charging.

Emergency Recording Mode
In recording mode, double press the power button, the recorder enters the emergency recording mode. The video file of the emergency recording mode will be named “GSR-XXXX”.

Video file name difference:

  • REC-XXXX – Normal recording Videos
  • GSR-XXXX — Emergency recording videos

The recorder will lock the latest 10 emergency recording videos from being overwritten, and after more than 10, the recorder will automatically start to overwrite the earliest locked emergency video.

LED Indicator

  • Blue light – Steady (light on) : Stop recording
  • Blue light – Slow blinking : Recording properly
  • Blue light – Fast blinking : Emergency mode
  • Red light – Slow blinking: In charging
  • Red light – Steady (light on): Fully charged

Inserting a Memory Card
Insert the memory card into the card slot in the right direction until it clicks. To remove the memory card, push to eject the memory card out of the slot.

  • Do not remove or insert the memory card when the device is being powered on. This may damage the memory card.
  • Please use a high-speed micro SD card with CLASS
  • Please format cards before use and anytime a significant amount of data has been collected to ensure that device and SD cards are working properly together.

Wi-Fi Connection Guide

When successfully connected with your smartphone via built-in Wi-Fi, you can save and playback the driving recording videos on your smartphone. You can also change settings of dash cam via Wi-Fi app.

  1. Scan the QR code below to download the latest App from Google Play and App Store. Or you can search ‘WiFi Camera’ on Google Play or App Store to download it.

  2. Select ‘K5’ from available Wi-Fi network to connect. The default password is ‘1234567890

  3. Wi-Fi app operation
    The camera will stop recording when you open Wi-Fi App (connected successfully} during the recording, and ii will start recording automatically 30 seconds after you quit the app. Also, you can also start/stop recording manually on the Wi-Fi App.

  4. Click to stop recording manually. Click to start recording manually.

  5. Click to take photo.

  6. Click to enter/exit full screen view .

  7. Click to go back to the previous menu

NOTE:

  • GST OFF’ means the G-sensor is turned off; ‘GST LEVEL4’ is the most sensitive level.
  • When you connected the DVR failed, please check if you have any pop-up tips to notify you there is no internet and if you will stay connected. Just say YES and everything will work great. Some may have no this kind of notification, so we will recommend you to turn off cellular data when using the WiFi app.
  • Contact seller if it encounters an error when setting the SSID.

Troubleshooting

  • Q: What if I forget my WiFi password?
    A: Contact customer service for fix firmware.

  • Q: The lens is fuzzy and the video is not clear
    A: Check the lens appearance for dirt and dust.

  • Q: The recorder crashes or does not record
    A: Please use a pin to push the reset hole of the recorder to reset the device.

  • Q: The recorder can be turned on, but not recorded
    A: Check whether the TF card is normal, format it on the computer, or connect the device WiFi and format it on the app.

Tips

  • Please use 5V / 2A charger to charge the equipment.
  • It is a normal phenomenon that the equipment is heated in use,
  • This device is of super HD 2K resolution, so it is recommended to use a monitor above 2K to play video with the best effect.
  • The device can record about 175MB videos for 1 minute, and the 64GB card can record about 6 hours.
