will get very hot.
Always follow the garment manufacturer’s care instructions.
Allow the garment steamer to cool before removing or attaching the fabric
brush.
Don’t:
Direct steam at people or animals.
Tip or tilt the garment steamer once it has been filled with water, as this
will cause boiling water to leak from the steam head and could cause serious
injury.
Hold the garment steamer by the body or steam head.
Position the garment steamer too close to the surface of the fabric or apply
too much pressure, as this could cause damage to the fabric.
Refill the water tank whilst the garment steamer is switched on and plugged
into the main power supply.
Fill the water tank above the 100 ml max. fill mark.
Care and Maintenance
Before attempting any cleaning or maintenance, always unplug the garment
steamer from the mains power supply and allow it to cool sufficiently (for

Instructions for Use
Before First Use
Clean the exterior surface of the garment steamer with a soft, damp cloth and
dry thoroughly before switching it on and using it for the first time.
Do not immerse the garment steamer in water or any other liquid.
Allow the unit to steam for 3-4 minutes to remove any impurities that may have
been left behind during production.
It is recommended to steam an old piece of cotton prior to steaming the
preferred garment, to check that any impurities have been removed.
NOTE: When using the garment steamer for the first time, a slight odor may be emitted. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the garment steamer when it is in use.
Assembling the Handheld Garment Steamer
The garment steamer comes preassembled. If disassembled, check that the
garment steamer is switched off and unplugged from the main power supply
before refitting any accessories.
STEP 1 : Fix the steam head by rotating it to the ‘locked’ position.
STEP 2 : If required, attach the fabric brush to the steam head and click
it into place.
The fabric brush opens the weaves of the fabric for deeper steam diffusion. It
is ideal for steaming heavier fabrics and bulkier items such as car
upholstery, curtains, beddings, and sofas.
CAUTION: Always check that the garment steamer has cooled fully before adding or removing any attachment from the steam head.
Using the Handheld Garment Steamer
STEP 1 : Check that the garment steamer is switched off and unplugged
from the mains power supply, and make sure it is cool.
STEP 2 : Remove the steam head by rotating it to the unlocked position
and pulling it away from the garment steamer’s main body.
STEP 3 : Using the measuring cup, fill the water tank with a maximum of
100 ml water, using the max. fill mark as a guide.
STEP 4: Fix the steam head to the garment steamer main body and secure
the fabric brush if required, following the instructions in the section
entitled ‘Assembling the Handheld Garment Steamer’.
STEP 5: Place the garment steamer onto a flat, stable surface, then
plugin and switch it on at the mains power supply.
STEP 6 : Turn on the garment steamer by switching the power switch to the
‘On’ position. Once the water in the water tank has reached a rolling boil,
the steam head will begin to emit steam.
STEP 7: If necessary, hang the garment to be steamed. Press the steam
head gently against the fabric and carefully steam the garment using long,
straight downwards movements to remove any wrinkles or creases.
STEP 8: Once the garment has been steamed, switch off the garment steamer
by switching the power switch to the ‘Off’ position. Switch off and unplug it
from the mains power supply.
NOTE: A full water tank provides approx. 6 minutes of continuous steam. The indicator light will switch off to indicate that the water tank is empty. Once empty, allow the garment steamer to cool fully before refilling the water tank following steps 1-4.
CAUTION: During operation, the garment steamer and water tank in
particular will get very hot. Exercise extreme caution. Do not hold the
garment steamer by any other part of the unit except the handle.
Do not fill the water tank past the 100 ml max. fill mark, as this could cause
boiling water to be emitted from the steam head.
Do not use anything other than water to fill the water tank.
After the garment steamer has been switched off, steam may still be produced
whilst the garment steamer is cooling.
WARNING: Do not tip or tilt the garment steamer once it has been filled
with water, as this will cause boiling water to leak from the steam head and
could cause injury. Only refill the water tank once the garment steamer has
fully cooled.
Storage
Before storing in a cool, dry place, check that the garment steamer and
accessories are cool, clean, and dry.
The water tank should be empty before storage.
Never wrap the cord tightly around the garment steamer; wrap it loosely to
avoid causing damage.
