INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to installation, disconnect power at source. Installation
For an existing outlet perform first steps 1 to 3
- Remove the existing faceplate from the device.
- Unscrew the device from the J-Box and leave the wires intact.
- Place the waterproof cushion and outdoor box in back of the devices tabs. (See diagram)
- Install the outdoor box and water proof cushion into the wall using the supplied screws, the water proof cushion is located between the outdoor box and the wall. Make sure that prior to screwing in the outdoor box the J-Box is centered relative to the box.
- If the installation is on an existing device, screw the device back into the J-Box. If this is a new installation, wire the device according to the mfg. specifications, tuck the wires into the J-Box and secure the device to the J-box.
- Install the faceplate on the receptacle or switch.
- The installation is now complete, restore power and verify operation of the device.
