Connecting the Speakers

• Q: Can I connect multiple devices to the speakers simultaneously?
  A: The speakers can typically be connected to one device at a time. To switch devices, disconnect the current one and connect the new device.

• Q: What should I do if my speakers are not pairing via Bluetooth?
  A: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that it is within range of the speakers. Try turning off and on both devices and attempt pairing again.

• Q: How can I improve the bass output of the speakers?
  A: Adjust the equalizer settings on your audio source or use a dedicated bass boost feature if available to enhance the bass output.

• Using the product in a 0-45°C environment is recommended. Shipping and storing the product in a 0-45°C environment is recommended.

• Do not block any ventilation openings. Do not insert any object into ventilation openings or slots. It may cause fire or electric shock.
• Keep sufficient clearance around the product to maintain good ventilation (minimum 5cm is recommended).
• Do not force a plug into the jack. Before connection, check for blockage in the jack and whether the plug matches the jack and is oriented to the right direction.
• Keep the provided accessories and parts (such as screws) away from children to prevent from being swallowed by mistake.
• Do not open or remove the housing yourself. It may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazardous risks. Regardless the cause of damage (such as damaged wire or plug, exposure to liquid splash or foreign object falling in, exposure to rain or moisture, product not working or being dropped, etc.), the repair has to be performed by an authorized service professional immediately.
• Before cleaning the product with dry cloth, always turn off the product and disconnect the power plug first.
• Never use strong acid, alkali, gasoline, alcohol, or other chemical solvents to clean the product surface. Use only neutral solvent or clear water for cleaning.
• The product must be used at an altitude of lower than 2000m.
• Excessively loud music may lead to hearing loss. Please keep the volume in a safe range.
• Correct Disposal of this product. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

Power warning:

1. Place the product near the power outlet for easy use.
2. Before use, make sure that the operating voltage is the same as your local power supply. Correct operating voltage can be found on the product plate.
3. For safety purpose, unplug the product during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods of time.
4. Under normal conditions, the power supply may get hot. Please keep good ventilation in the area and exercise caution.
5. Product nameplate and safety warning labels on the housing or bottom of the product or power adaptor.

The MAINS plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

For wireless product:

1. Wireless product may generate shortwave radio frequencies and interfere with the normal use of other electronic devices or medical equipment.
2. Turn off the product when it’s disallowed. Do not use the product in medical facilities, on airplane, at gas stations, near automatic gates, automatic fire alarm system or other automated devices.
3. Do not use the product in the vicinity of a pacemaker within a 20cm range. The radio waves may affect the normal operation of the pacemaker or other medical devices.

Download Edifier Connect app

1. Scan the QR code for the app.
2. Install Edifier Connect app from Apple App Store or Google Play.

With this app, you can

• Switch input modes,
• Control play in Bluetooth mode and USB audio streaming mode,
• Select or customize EQs,
• Select or customize light effects,
• Swap the left and right channels,
• Upgrade the firmware, and
• More functions.

Connection

1. Connect the active and passive speakers using the speaker connecting cable.
2. Connect your device and the active speaker properly. To connect it with a subwoofer, another 3.5mm to RCA cable may be required.
3. Connect to a power source using the power cable, and then turn on the power switch.

Audio inputs

Bluetooth input

1. When the speaker is powered on for the first time, it will auto-enter Bluetooth mode.
2. You can also press the “ ****” button to switch to Bluetooth mode manually (blue LED blinking rapidly), and the speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. Select “EDIFIER QR65” in your device setting to connect, and the blue LED will be steady lit when the connection is established.
   • To disconnect the speaker from your device, press and hold the ” ” knob on the side panel of the active speaker.

Note:

1. Pin code for connection is “0000” if needed.
2. To enjoy all Bluetooth functions of this product, make sure that your audio source device supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles.

Line In input

1. Press the “ ****” button to switch to Line In mode (Green LED).
2. Connect your device to the LINE IN input ports (note color matching) with the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable.
3. Play audio and control the playback on your device.
   Note: In Line In mode, volume sync is not supported. To adjust the volume, adjust on the speaker and your device separately.

USB audio streaming input

1. Press the “ ****” button to switch to USB audio streaming mode (Red LED).
2. Connect the speaker to your computer with the bundled USB connecting cable.
3. On the computer, open the sound settings and select “EDIFIER QR65” as its output device.

Note:

1. In USB audio streaming mode, volume sync is not supported. To adjust the volume, adjust on the speaker and your computer separately.
2. The following operating systems are supported: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, and Mac.

Charge external devices

Note:

• During charging, make sure that the power cable is properly connected and the main power button on the rear panel of the active speaker is switched to “ON “.
• To guarantee high-efficiency charging, use a charging cable that supports the charging current of 4.5A or higher.

Connect your device to the USB-A port, USB-C 1 port or USB-C 2 port on the rear panel of the active speaker for charging.

• USB-C 1 port only (65W max.): 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 3A, 15V 3A, 20V 3.25A
• USB-C 2 port only (65W max.): 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 3A, 15V 3A, 20V 3.25A
• USB-C 1 port and USB-C 2 port simultaneously: 20W max. + 45W max.
• USB-C 1 port and USB-A port simultaneously: 15W max.
• USB-A port and USB-C 2 port simultaneously: 20W max. + 45W max.
• USB-A port, USB-C 1 port, and USB-C 2 port simultaneously: 15W max. + 45W max.

Swap the left and right channels
If you want to place the active speaker on your left and the passive speaker on your right, you need to swap the left and right channels.

1. Connect your device with the speaker via Bluetooth.
2. Open Edifier Connect app.
3. Go to “Settings” > “Swap channels” > “Swap” > “Confirm”.
   Note: If the speaker is reset to factory settings, repeat the steps above to swap channels.

Know more about this speaker

• Get the latest firmware
  Upgrade the firmware when a version update notice appears in your Edifier Connect app. During upgrading, the LED on the side panel of the active speaker will blink in red, blue and green. Note: Do not disconnect the power supply and Bluetooth connection during upgrading.

• How to reset this speaker to factory settings?
  In work mode, press and hold the ” LIGHT EFFECT ” button for 5 seconds.
  Note: After the speaker is reset, all settings and pairing records on the speaker will be cleared.

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect to your Bluetooth device

• Make sure that the distance between this product and your Bluetooth speaker is less than 10 meters and there are no obstacles between them.
• Make sure that no device is connected to this product via Bluetooth.
• Make sure that this product is in Bluetooth pairing mode. If not, manually switch it to this mode.
• Restart this product, enable Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device, and then try again.
• Reset this product to factory settings and try again.

No power

• Make sure that the power cable is properly connected.
• Make sure that the power supply is not disconnected.
• Make sure that the main power button on the rear panel is switched to “ON”.

No sound

• Make sure that this product is powered on.
• Make sure that this product and your device is properly connected.
• Make sure that the playback is not paused.
• Make sure that this product and your device are not muted.
• Increase the volume of this product and your device.

Noise coming from speakers

• EDIFIER speakers generate little noise, while the background noise of some audio devices are too high. Please unplug audio cables and turn the volume up. If no sound can be heard at 1 meter away from the speaker, there is no problem with this product.
