Please read this manual thoroughly before using it and save it for future reference.

WARNINGS

1. This device is intended for household, indoor and dry use only.

2. Keep out of reach of children. This product is not a toy and should not be used by children or stored accessible to them.

3. For accurate results, place the scale on a flat, stable, and dry surface, free from vibrations and drafts.

4. Do not exceed the scale’s maximum capacity. Overloading your scale can permanently damage it.

5. Wash and dry thoroughly before first use. Please use a damp cloth to clean the base. Do not allow water to get inside the base.

6. Do not use chemicals to clean the scale.

7. Store your scale in a clean, dry location. Dust, dirt, and moisture can accumulate on the weighing sensors and cause inaccuracy or malfunction.

8. Do not put heavy things on the scale when not in use.

9. Do not store the base in an upright position.

10. Never leave weak or empty batteries in the device – especially if you suspect it will not be used for several months. Use the correct size and type of battery specified by the manufacturer and installed in accordance with the polarity (+ and – terminals) marked on the device. Do not mix old and new batteries, batteries of different brands, or batteries of different types (alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) in the same device as this may cause the batteries to leak.
    Rechargeable batteries must be removed before being recharged. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Battery replacement and/or recharging should be done only by adults. Always keep all batteries in a safe place away from children and pets. Store new batteries, in their original packaging, in a dry place, and at normal room temperature until ready to use, and dispose of used batteries in accordance with your local law. Do not store devices with batteries in very warm places as this could result in reduced battery performance and/or battery leakage. Battery acid and leakage can cause personal injury and/or damage to the product and/or surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that came into contact with leaked battery acid.

11. In case of malfunction and/or damage do not attempt any repair by yourself and ensure that the product is properly disposed of in accordance with local laws.

3) BEFORE (FIRST) USE
TO INSTALL OR REPLACE THE BATTERY

1. Open the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the scale by pushing on the flap in the direction of the arrow before lifting it:2..Take out used batteries (if already installed),
2. Install new batteries according to instructions inside the battery compartment.
3. Reposition and close (push down) the battery compartment cover.

HOW TO USE THE FUNCTIONS
Choosing MODE and UNIT:
After turning on the scale by pressing the power button, press the MODE button to select MODE and UNIT (within the chosen unit system): weight (g), water (ml), or milk (ml), as shown on Pic. 3 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 3).
Converting unit system:
Press the UNIT conversion button to convert between metric (g/ml) or the imperial system (fl’oz/lb: oz). Pic. 4 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 4).
NOTE: When setting “g” as weight unit, the default volume unit is “ml”, when setting “lb: oz” as weight unit, the default volume unit is “fl’oz”.

USAGE:

1. Weighing mode
   A. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
   B. Place the bowl (if used) on the scale.
   C. Press the power button to turn on the scale.
   D. Wait until LCD shows “0”. Press the MODE button to convert to weighing mode.
   E. Start loading the scale LCD will show the weight reading.
   F. If the weighing object is water or milk, press the MODE button to choose volume mode and view the volume of the weighing object Pic. 5 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 5).
   G. Press and hold the power button (approx. 3 s) to turn the scale off (otherwise it will turn off automatically if not used for 2 min).
   NOTE: Total maximum load should not be more than 5 kg.

2. Volume indication mode
   A. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
   B. Press to turn on the scale.
   C. Wait until LCD shows “0”, and press the MODE button to choose.
   D. Put a liquid container onto the scale platform. LCD shows the weight of the container.
   E. Press the button to zero or tare weight.
   F. Pour the liquid (water or milk) into the container, LCD shows the volume of the liquid.
   G. Press the MODE button to choose “Weight” mode and view the weight of liquid – Pic. 6 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 6).

3. “ZERO”/”TARE” FUNCTION
   Used to weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale. Put the first load on the scale, and read the weight. Press the button to reset the LCD reading to “0” before adding the next load. You can repeat this operation.
   Condition 1: “ZERO” function – Pic. 7 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 7).
   When the total sum of all loads on the scale is below 200 LCD will show “—-“ or “0g” each time the “POWER/ZERO” button is pressed.
   Condition 2: “TARE” function – Pic. 7 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 7).
   When the total sum of all loads on the scale is above 200 g LCD will show “—-“ or “0g” (and T for the “TARE” symbol at the top left corner) only at the first press of the “POWER/ZERO!” button. Later on (if more load is added) with a press of the “POWER/ZERO” button LCD will show I first total weight and with a second press “—-“ or “0 g”.
   NOTE: “ —-“ means not stable, please wait for a moment.
   By pressing the “POWER/ZERO” button, you can see the total weight of all loads on the scale. If you want to weigh more loads, just press “POWER/ZERO BUTTON” to reset the LCD reading to ‘0’ again.

4. WARNING INDICATORS Pic. 9 (see: PICTURES, Pic. 9)
   1. “ Lo” – replace the battery.
   2. “Err” – scale overload. Remove items to avoid damage. Max weight capacity is 5 kg.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Wash the bowl under warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Wipe the base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Store at room temperature to avoid battery damage. Remove batteries if not used for a prolonged time.
