DELIMANO AIR FRYER WITH STEAM

Please read this manual thoroughly before using and save it for future reference.

WARNINGS

  1.  To protect against electric shock do not immerse power cables, plugs, or devices in water or other liquid.
  2.  Do not use this device if the plug, power cable, or device is damaged. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by an authorized or similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  3.  This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  4.  Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.
  5.  Keep the device and its power cable out of the reach of children.
  6.  Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
  7.  Plug in power supply that corresponds to the rated one on device/charger only. In case of misusage power supply or device failure may occur.
  8.  This device is equipped with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.
  9.  Always place and use this device on a dry, stable, level and heat resistant surface.
  10.  This device cannot be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
  11.  Do not place the device against a wall or against other devices. At least 30 cm of space should be left on both sides, above and at the back of the device.
  12.  Do not place anything on top of this device.
  13.  Do not use this device for any purpose other than as described in this user manual.
  14.  While the device is operating, on the back of the device will be released high temperature steam. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and air outlets.
  15.  While the device is working, outer surfaces of the device will be hot.
  16.  This device is intended for household, indoor and dry use only.
  17.  Slight odors are possible at beginning of usage until device reaches its thermal stability.
  18.  This device should never be switched on or stay plugged in power supply when not in use, while replacing accessories or during cleaning.
  19.  The device must be allowed to cool for around 30 minutes before cleaning.
  20.  Do not overfill the frying basket.
  21.  Do not place the device on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  22.  Never use oil to deep fry or pressure fry in the device.
  23.  Do not let the power cable to hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
  24. If the device is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, do not use it.
  25.  Do not immerse the base in water. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the power cable, power plug or the device in any liquid.
  26.  Extreme caution must be used when moving the device which contains hot liquids.
  27.  If the device begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug the power cable.
  28.  Do not attempt any modification or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted only by appropriately qualified technician.
  29.  If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by authorized or similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  30.  Regularly remove blockages caused by dust, food, grease etc. because they greatly reduce device’s general performance.
  31.  Do not use the device without the frying basket.
  32.  The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
  33.  Clean and dry thoroughly before first use.
  34.  Please refer to below paragraphs about details on cleaning, settings and accessories.
  35.  Although the product has been checked its usage and consequences are strictly user responsibility.

BEFORE USE

Place the device onto a stable, heat-resistant surface, at a height that is comfortable for use. The device should be placed so that the power cable has a sufficient length to be plugged into the power supply and the air inside the device should be kept in circulation and device should not be close to any flammable items.

  1.  Remove all packing material and labels from the device. Pull out frying basket by grabbing the handle.

  2. Wash the ˝Frying basket˝ and ˝Air fry / steam plate˝ in hot, soapy water.
    NOTE: Do not immerse the device main unit in water. Wipe it with a damp cloth.

  3.  Dry all parts thoroughly.

  4.  Insert and push down the ˝Air fry / steam plate˝ into the frying basket with ribs facing upwards. NOTE: During the first use, the device may emit a slight odor. This is normal and will not affect flavour

USAGE

Air fry mode
AIRFRY MODE uses hot air to fry food. The food is crisp and tender, full of taste. (see: PICTURES, Pic.3).

  1.  Put the ingredients into the frying basket.

  2.  Press the ‘Air fry mode’ button to select the frying operation.

  3.  Press ˝Time increase˝ button or ˝Time decrease˝ button and ˝Temp. increase˝ or ˝Temp. decrease˝ button to set values. The default timer is set to 10 min and temperature to approximately 180 °C.
    NOTE: If no button is pressed for 60 sec after selecting ˝Air fryer mode˝, initial screen will be displayed again.

  4.  Press the ‘Start button’ to start frying. When the ¨Start button¨ is pressed, ‘Frying sequence indicators’ turn on to indicate that the frying has started. Press the ‘Stop button’ at any time to stop the frying operation.
    NOTE: The frying basket can be pulled out at any time during the frying to check the food. The device will pause while the basket is removed. To continue, push the frying basket back in again.

  5.  When the frying mode is finished you will hear 3 long beeps. Pull out the frying basket from the main device. Ensure the food is fried. If the food is not fried, push the frying basket back into the device and set the timer again on ˝Air fry mode˝.
    NOTE: Time and temperature settings can be changed while frying by pressing Time increase/decrease buttons and Temperature increase/decrease buttons.

Steam mode
STEAM MODE uses high temperature to steam the food, after steaming the food is fresh and tender, fully preserves the nutritional components of the food. (see: PICTURES, Pic.4).\

  1.  Ensure the water tank is filled completely before steaming.

  2.  Put the ingredients into the frying basket.

  3.  Press the ‘Steam button‘ to select steaming operation.

  4.  Press ˝Time increse˝ button or ˝Time decrease˝ button to set values. The default timer is set to 5 min.
    NOTE: If is not pressed any button for 60 sec after selecting ¨Steam mode¨, ´initial screen´ will be displayed again.

  5.  Press ‘Start button‘ to start steaming. When the ¨Start button¨ is pressed, ‘Frying sequence indicators’ turn on to indicate that the steaming operation has started. Press the ¨Stop button¨ at any time to stop the steaming process.
    NOTE: The frying basket can be pulled out at any time during the steaming to check the food. The device will pause while the frying basket is removed. To continue push the frying basket back in again.

  6.  When the steaming process is finished you will hear 3 long beeps. Pull the frying basket out of the device. Ensure food is steamed. If the food is not steamed, put the frying basket back into the device and set the timer again on ˝Steam mode˝.
    NOTE: Time settings can be changed while steaming by pressing Time increase/decrease buttons.

Steam fry mode
STEAM FRY MODE first steams your food, then air frys it to make it golden brown and more crispy after steaming. (see: PICTURES, Pic.5).

  1.  Ensure the water tank is filled completely before steam frying.

  2.  Put the ingredients into the frying basket.

  3.  Press the ‘Steam fry mode’ button. The Steam icon will start to flash.

  4.  Press the ˝Time increase˝ button or ˝Time decrease˝ button to set values then press ˝Set button¨. The air fry icon will begin to flash.
    NOTE: The default timer is set to 5 min.

  5.  Press the ˝Time increase˝ button or ˝Time decrease˝ button and ¨Temp. increase¨ button or ¨Temp. decrease¨ button to set values. The default timer is set to 10 min and the temperature is set to approximately 180 °C.
    NOTE: If no button is pressed for 60 sec after selecting ¨Steam fry mode¨, ´initial screen´ will be displayed again.

  6.  Press the ¨Start button˝ to start steam frying. When the ˝Start button¨ is pressed, ‘Frying sequence indicators’ turn on to indicate that the steam frying operation has started. While steaming is running the icon will flash and when air fying begins the air fryer icon will flash. Press ¨Stop button¨at any time to stop the steam fry process.
    NOTE: The frying basket can be pulled out at any time during steam frying to check the food. The device will pause while the frying basket is removed. To continue push the frying basket back in again.

  7.  When the frying process is finished you will hear 3 long beeps. Pull the frying basket out of the device. Ensure the food is fried. If the food is not fried, push the frying basket back into the device and set the timer again on ¨Air fry mode¨.
    NOTE: Time and temperature settings can be changed while steam frying by pressing Time increase/decrease buttons and Temperature increase/decrease buttons.

Preset mode
PRESET MODE has 3 preset modes for frying a variety of foods such as vegetables, fries and chicken. (see: PICTURES, Pic.6).

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled completely before frying.

  2. Put the ingredients into the frying basket.

  3. Select one of the following modes: Veg, Fries, Chicken. Once one of the modes button has been pressed for eg. ‘Veg’, press ‘Veg’ button again to set small, medium or large pre-set dozing bars. The ¨Pre-set bar indicator¨ will display 1 bar for small, 2 bars for medium and 3 bars for large pre-set dozing. The setted time for each pre-set will change on the display accordingly (eg. Veg mode: small = 8 min; medium = 14 min; large = 25 min).

  4. Press ‘Start button´ to select frying operation.
    NOTE: The frying basket can be pulled out at any time during frying to check the food. The device will pause while the frying basket is removed. To continue push the frying basket back in again.

  5. When the frying process is finished you will hear 3 long beeps. Pull the frying basket out of the device. Ensure the food is fried. If the food is not fried, push the frying basket back into the device and set the timer again on the same mode.
    NOTE: Timer and temperature settings can be changed while frying by pressing Time increase/decrease buttons and Temperature increase/decrease buttons.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

This device contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Contact the customer service department for any unusual issues you may experience.

  1.  Always turn off the device, unplug the power cable from power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  2.  To clean the main unit, wipe it down with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly after every use. Never submerge in water or other liquids.
  3.  Never use harsh chemical detergents, powder or scouring pads on any of the parts or accessories.
  4.  The Air fryer /Steam plate and Waste water tray are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend to wash them by hand as this will improve the lifetime of the device.
  5.  To clean the frying basket, soak in hot water for few hours for easier cleaning. Then wipe down with a damp cloth and allow to dry.
  6.  Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  7.  Dry thoroughly all parts before further use or storage.
  8.  Contact Customer Service for any issues or malfunctions that may occur.

DESCALING

  1.  After the device has been operating for over 20 hours, the ¨Descaling mode˝ indicatior will start to blink.
  2.  Ensure the water tank is filled completely with water before starting the ¨Descaling mode˝.
  3.  To activate the ¨Descaling mode˝, press the ¨Descaling button¨, to start an operation for automatically cleaning the device.
  4.  The ˝Descaling mode˝ will take approximately 30 minutes to finish.

TROUBLESHOOTING

ISSUE POSSIBLE CAUSES POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Food is understeamed The food is too thick and big. Cut large pieces of food

into small pieces and thick pieces into thin pieces.
Steaming time is too short.| Increase the time by pressing ˝Time increase˝ button.
The steam generator is soaked with water and dirt.| Check if the scale indicator is on.
There is not enough water in the tank.| If the ˝Water re-fill indicator˝ is turned on and the device is beeping, refill

the water tank completely.

The device has a bad smell after not using it for a period of time.| The device has not been cleaned since its last use.| Clean the device after each use.
The device is not operating.| Device power cable is not plugged into a power supply.| Plug the power cable into a power supply.
The ˝Power button˝ on the display was not pressed.| Press the ˝Power button˝on the display
Food is underfried.| The food is too thick and big.| Cut large pieces of food into small pieces and thick pieces into thin pieces.
The temperature mode is set too low.| Increase the temperature by pressing the ˝Temp. increase˝ button.
Frying time is too short.| Increase the time by pressing the ˝Time increase˝ button.
Some types of food need to be turned upside down during frying.| Check the food and turn upside down once or twice during the frying process.
