SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not use the appliance until it is securely fi xed as described in this manual.

- The heater must not be positioned directly under the power socket.
- Keep furniture, curtains and other fl ammable material at least 1 meter away from the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst connected to the mains supply.
- Keep out of reach of children and do not allow them to operate this appliance.
- This appliance is intended for household use only and should not be used for industrial purposes.
- Do not operate this appliance after a malfunction or after being damaged in any way.
- Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed by a qualifi ed electrician.
- Improper repairs may place user at serious risk.
- Do not run the mains cable under carpets, rugs, etc.
- Do not allow the mains cable to hang over sharp edges or come in contact with hot surfaces.
- In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fi re risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Do not use if you have wet hands.
- Never use the appliance on or near hot surfaces.
- Do not operate with a damaged cord.
- Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is unplugged from the power and that it is completely cooled.
- Do not clean the appliance with abrasive chemicals.

WALL INSTALLATION

Fasten the panel to the screws.| Move the panel first to the left and then
down to fix it in place.
Note : The mounting kit included in the scope of delivery is intended for vertical mounting on a stable wall. When mounting on other types of wall, you will need appropriate mounting brackets (not included). Make sure that the wall is suitable for mounting. It is strongly recommended that the panel be installed by a qualified electrician or an installer authorized by the manufacturer. The heater must be at least 20 cm away from all objects, walls, etc.; the distance to the floor must be at least 20

COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION
The device has an integrated WLAN control unit. This means that no additional thermostat is required to operate the device. As soon as your device is connected to the app, your smartphone communicates with the WLAN control device and you can control the device via smartphone. If your home network is down, it is possible to operate the device manually via the control unit. As soon as the device is connected to the WLAN again, you can control the device via your smartphone again.
The device has the following features:
- Manual mode: easy temperature control and 24-hour timer function
- Intelligent mode: 7 weekday settings, 4 time periods per day
- Holiday mode: Set a fixed temperature during your absence and return to normal settings when you return.
- Detection function for open windows
Open window detection
If the unit detects a drastic drop in room temperature within a short time in
heating mode, the „open window“ symbol on the screen starts to flash. The
heater switches off for 30 minutes and automatically resumes operation with
the previous setting after 30 minutes. This function can be
activated/deactivated by pressing the – button for at least 5 seconds. The
„open window“ symbol is displayed or not on the screen, depending on the
setting.
Temperature Calibration
Press the + button for 5 seconds to access temperature calibration. The number
can be adjusted by pressing the + and – buttons. The calibration range is -5
to +5 degrees.
Activate/deactivate WLAN function
By pressing the Timer button for 10 seconds, the WLAN function can be
activated/deactivated.
MANUAL OPERATION
- Press the On/Off button to switch the unit on.
- The „M“ symbol appears on the screen. The unit is now in manual mode.
- Adjust the temperature by pressing the + and – buttons. 2 seconds later, the current room temperature is displayed on the screen.
- To set a timer, press the Timer button. 00H“ is displayed on the screen. Set the desired time until the appliance switches off automatically using the + and – buttons.
Note: Once the timer has been activated, the appliance is automatically in manual mode.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the power outlet and let it cool down completely.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or pour water over it.
- Clean the surface of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- For glass models, use a soft cloth and glass cleaner.
- Never use a wet cloth for cleaning.
- After cleaning, wipe the product dry with a dry cloth.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners or sponges to clean the unit, as this could scratch the unit or cause other irreparable damage.
- The unit must be completely dry before reuse.
DEVICE CONTROL BY SMARTPHONE
If you integrate the device into your home WiFi, you can conveniently operate it via the associated Klarstein app. The app not only allows you to remotely control the device via your smartphone, but also gives you access to recipes and additional information. Follow these steps to connect your smartphone to your Klarstein device:
- Download the Klarstein app first by scanning the QR code with your smartphone (see below), or download it directly from App Store or Google Play.
- Make sure your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network that your Klarstein device is to be connected to.
- Open the Klarstein app.
- Sign in to your account. If you do not have an account, sign up in the Klarstein app.
- Follow the instructions from the app.
App Download
Use the scan function of your smartphone to scan the QR code and save the app
on your smartphone.
Note : The app provides further information on how to use the app and help on how to connect to your device as soon as you open it for the first time.
Troubleshooting connection problems
If your Klarstein device cannot be found in the WLAN, check the following:
- Is the device plugged in?
- Is the WiFi feature of my phone enabled?
- Is the WiFi function of the Klarstein device activated? (Follow the instructions in the app)
- Has the WLAN password been entered correctly?
- Are the router, Klarstein device and smartphone in the immediate vicinity during the connection attempt? (Ideally no more than 5 m apart)
- If you have deactivated the 2.4 GHz band in the settings of your wireless router, activate it in your router settings.
- Please make sure WLAN signal light is flashing rapidly before connecting to APP, if not, long press WLAN button until it’s flashing rapidly. If you still fail, please continually long press WLAN button until the signal light is flashing slowly and re-try the connection.
Note: For further help, follow the instructions in the app when setting up the connection.
DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
If there is a legal regulation for the disposal of electrical and electronic
devices in your country, this symbol on the product or on the packaging
