niko PM310-05001 LED Compensator for Dimmers
Description
The LED compensator is used when lamp flicker is seen with LED lamps connected to a 2-wire dimmer. The LED compensator will remove lamp flicker, except if it is caused by interference from Power Line Communications (See www.niko.eu/faq for more details on PLC interference). The LED compensator will also remove afterglow or ghosting effects. It can even be applied in light circuits subject to popcorning effects, where lamps switch on or off at visibly different moments. Additional LED compensators can be installed in parallel, should the lamp flicker, ghosting symptoms or popcorning effects persist. Note that you can also use the LED compensator when configuring Niko-connected dimmers. If no lamps have been connected yet to a connected dimmer from Niko (55X-722X1), you can use the LED compensator as a load to complete the commissioning with the wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control (552-00001). Its small dimensions and long flexible wires facilitate easy installation. The led compensator has an IP51 protection degree and can be installed in dry, moist, and dusty indoor environments.
