SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

  • Please read all instructions carefully before operating the appliance and retain for future reference.
  • After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is in good condition.
  • The packaging materials may contain plastic, nails etc., which may be hazardous and therefore should not be left within the reach of children.
  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
  • Avoid installation behind a door.
  • Check that the voltage indicates on the data plate corresponds with that of the local network before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
  • Do not cover or restrict airflow to the inlet or exhaust grilles in any manner as the appliance may overheat and become a fire risk (for fan heaters).
  • Do not cover grilles, block entry or exhaust of airflow by placing appliance against any surface. Keep all objects at least 1 meter from the front and sides of the appliance. With exception of appliances designed for wall-mounting, maintain a 1 metre gap from the rear of the unit as well.
  • Fire risk exists if the heater is covered by or positioned close to curtains or other combustible materials.
  • Do not place appliance close to a radiant heat source.
  • Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Switch off and use handles where provided when moving.
  • Do not use the appliance to dry clothes.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects enter any ventilation or exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
  • Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid to run into the interior of the appliance, as this could create an electrical shock hazard.
  • Do not use this appliance on a wet surface, or where it can fall or be pushed into water.
  • Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off at supply and unplug immediately.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return to a qualified electrical person for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, service or repair before further use.
  • Do not operate appliance with wet hands.
  • This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
  • Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock or injury
  • A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff in the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the appliance and vacuumcleaning air vents and grilles, where available.
  • Do not use this appliance in a window as rain may cause electric shock.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance. Clean with a damp cloth (not wet) rinsed in hot soapy water only. Always remove plug from the mains supply before cleaning.
  • Do not connect the appliance to the mains source until it has been installed in its final location and adjusted to the position it will be used in.
  • This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry or similar locations which may be exposed to water, moisture or humidity.
  • Always operate on a flat horizontal surface.
  • Switch off the appliance, then use handles (where provided) to change its position.
  • Do not operate with the cord coiled up as this could cause a build up of heat, which could pose a hazard.
  • The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended.
  • Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling the cord – grip the plug instead.
  • Always unplug appliance when not in use.
  • Do not allow cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc. Arrange cord away from areas where it is likely to be tripped over.
  • Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken and split. Always ensure that the cord has been fully removed from any cord storage area before use.
  • Do not store appliance in a box or closed space until it has cooled down sufficiently.
  • Children over the age of 8 and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or those with a lack of experience and knowledge may only use the appliance if they are instructed on how to do so by a person responsible for their safety, or if they are supervised and understand the hazards associated with the use of the appliance.
  • Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
  • Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Do not use this appliance outdoors, or on wet surfaces. Avoid spilling liquid on the appliance.
  • In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

INSTALLATION

Wall Installation Method

  • On the wall at least 1.80 meters away from the ground, make two holes horizontally with a hole distance of about 176 mm. Install expansion screws in the holes to keep the nail heads slightly up and project at least 4 mm from the wall.
  • Place the appliance with the air vent facing downwards, align the nail head with the two holes on the back of the fuselage, hang it on the screw, and move the appliance appropriately so that the wall-hanging hole of the appliance catches the nail head so as to install it firmly.
  • After the installation is completed, check the firmness first, and then turn on the power after it is completely stable.

CONTROL PANEL AND REMOTE CONTROL

COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION

Before Use

  • Before use, make sure that the towel rack fixing nut is tightened.
  • Rotate the towel rack down or up according to your needs.
  • Before use, make sure the product is well fixed on the wall.

Operation

  1. Plug in the power and turn on the main power switch on the back of the appliance. The appliance enters the standby state. The display shows the following (digital tube shows S).

  2. Press the “F” button on the appliance once, the appliance works in cold air, and the display shows the following A (the digital tube displays “-”).

  3. Press the “F” button twice, the appliance works at low heat, and the display shows the following B.

  4. Press the “F” button three times, the appliance has high heat work, the display shows the following C.

  5. Press the “F” button four times to enter the standby state (the appliance needs to delay blowing cold air for 30 seconds).

Setting the Timer
Press the TIMER button to set timer (0-12 hours). Pressing the button one time increases one hour for timer. After setting time, the display will show current setting time for 5 seconds, then resume to previous display, meanwhile the light of the timer icon will be on. Below picture is an example of setting 8 hours:

Appointment “ON”
In standby mode, press TIMER button you can set the appointment turn-on time in 00-12 hours. After complete setting, the display shows the appointment turn-on time and also the light of the timer icon is on. The display automatically decreases 1 hour for each hour passed. When the appointment power-on time arrived, the product will automatically turns on. The default setting temperature is 23 °C during appointment turnon. Below picture is an example to set appointment turn-on time to 8 hours:

Note: If not setting the temperature and weekly program, the appliance will automatically turn-off after 12 hours of continuous work, and enter into standby.

OPERATION ONLY BY REMOTE CONTROL

Note: During the operation of the remote control ,remote control transmitter must aim at remote control receiving area of product, avoid remote control ineffective.

Operation

  1. Press the POWER button . The appliance enters into working status (see display A in the picture below).
  2. Press button for one time. The appliance works with low heating and display shows “–“ and “ “ (see display B in the picture below).
  3. Press button . the appliance works with low heating and display shows “–” and “ “ (see display C in the picture below).

Setting the Timer
The TIMER button on the remote control operates as same as the TIMER button on the control panel of the appliance.
Set current TIME/DAY
The settings can be made both under standby mode and working status.

  1. Press the SET button for one time. The display shows ”12“ as default. Press the button to set current hour (total in 24 hours).
  2. Press the SET button again. The display shows minute “30“. Press the button to set current minute (00-59 minutes).
  3. Then press the SET button for third time, the display shows the day Press the button to set current day (Monday-Sunday: d1-d7)
  4. Then press the OK button to confirm the setting, the display will show previous settings.

For example : Setting to Wednesday, 9:30 AM under 25 °C under II heating, please refer to the following picture:

Set temperature

  1. During working status, press the button . The display shows ”23“ as default.
  2. Press the button to set desired temperature (temperature range: 1049 °C).
  3. Press the OK button to confirm the setting.
    For example: The current ambient temperature is 15 °C, when set temperature to 25 °C, the display shows as below::

If cancel the temperature setting, press the button to work in the low or high heating position. At the same time, the digital tube displays “–“, and the “°C“ indicator goes out.

Set weekly program
After complete setting of current TIME/DAY, below is the steps to set weekly program:

  1. Press the POWER button . The appliance enters into working status.

  2. Press the P button . The display shows ”P“, it enters into weekly program setting (see display A on the picture below).

  3. Press the DAY button . The display shows d1-d7, set to working day (Monday- Sunday: d1-d7). Such as set Monday: see display B on the picture below.

  4. Press the EDIT button . The display shows P1-P6 (for each day, it can be set maximum 6 time periods). Such as setting P1: see display C on the picture below.

  5. Press the TIME/ON button . The display shows 00”as default. Press the TIME/ ON button continuously to set the turn-on time. Such as set the turn-on time 7:00 AM (Memo: the setting time 0-24 for choice), see display C on the picture below.

  6. Press the TIME/OFF button . The display shows the previous step turn-on time by default. Press the TIME/OFF button continuously to set the turn-off time. Such as set the shutdown time at 13:00 PM (see display E on the picture below).
    Note: Turn-off time is later than turn-on time. When turn-on time is the same as turn-off time, the appliance is in stand by mode

  7. Repeat steps 2-6 above, you can set the whole weekly program (Each day, the work of each segment opens, the time of shutdown).

  8. After above setting, press the DAY button to choose the unit turn-on day of the week. Press the EDIT button to choose the turn-on time of the day. Then press the button , to set desired temperature (temperature range: 10-49 °C). Press the OK button to confirm the setting.

  9. To cancel the weekly function, press the P button . The light “P” will go off. The weekly program is off. The appliance will revert to the previous function working status.

NOTES:
After the above setting are completed and P program is working, press the DAY button and the EDIT button to check the setting time of each day and time periods.

  • The turn-on time periods 00-24 hours, cannot set to minutes.
  • The “TIME/OFF” can not be less than “TIME/ON”.
  • When the “TIME/ON” is the same as “TIME/OFF”, the time period enters into standby mode.

Note: If main switch off, power cut off, or plug out, it need reset. You can press the SET button to check you set Time/Day.

Set open-window detection

  1. Press the POWER button . the appliance enters into working status. Heating for a moment until stable.

  2. Press the button on remote control. The light and “°C“ will be on. The temperature display ”23” by default. Press the button to set target temperature. During open-window detection mode, once the ambient temperature drops 5-10 °C within 10 minutes, then the product will stop working within 30 minutes and will enter into standby mode. Then press the POWER button to turn on the appliance.

  3. Press the button again to turn off the open-window detection. The light will go off and the appliance will resume to previous working mode.
    For example: The display F in the picture below shows the following settings: 23 °C (target temperature) during open window detection.

  4. When turn on at the same time for both open-window detection and weekly program, during the OFF period of weekly program, the product doesn’t work. During the working status of weekly program, the temperature is subject to the setting temperature of open-window detection (see display G on the picture below).

Note: When the weekly timer function is enabled, you must set the weekly timer and the working week and time period, otherwise, the default state of the weekly timer is “00”, that is, the power-off state.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING:
Risk of electric shock and fi re! Let the appliance cool down completely before handling or cleaning.

  • Never use detergent, chemical damage plastic parts.
    Cleaning

  • Clean the outside wall of the appliance by rubbing it gently with soft, damp cloth, either with or without soap.

  • Regularly clean the air inlet and outlet vents of the fan.
