Safety information
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knovwledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance

tool in the safety rest while not in use. Use the soldering iron exclusively
for the purpose indicated
in the Operating Instructions of soldering and desoldering under the
conditions specified here. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage
resulting from the misuse of the machine or unauthorized alterations. This
device is intended for domestic use only.
Warning!
- Fire and explosion hazard!
- Risk of burns!
- Do not touch the hot soldering tips and keep them away from inflammable objects.
- After the soldering process, the soldering tool and the
- Workpiece holder are still hot.
- Risk of burning through liquid solder. explosive and flammable objects well away from the device.
- Only replace solder tips when cold
- Wear appropriate protective clothing to protect yourself against burns. Protect your eyes by wearing eye protectors.
- Do not use the soldering tool in a damp or wet environment. Never work on voltage-carrying parts.
- The soldering tool must be operated only in perfect techni- cal working order.
- Avoid unintentional operation. Disconnect the soldering tool from the power supply while not in use.
- Check that the mains voltage is compatible with the connected load of the soldering iron.
- lf the electrical tool’s power supply cord is damaged, this must be replaced with a specially prefabricated power
- Supply cord available through the customer service organization.
- Use the battery for the intended purpose only.
- Do not use damaged chargers or batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the battery. Short-circuiting the poles may damage the battery or the connected item.
- Your device is supplied with a USB-C charging cable and battery.
- The battery can be charged and discharged several hundreds of times but will wear out over time
- .lf the battery life is significantly shorter than normal, replace the battery.
- Only use batteries that have been approved by better and only charge batteries using chargers which have been approved by an accredited laboratory.
Fire and explosion hazard!
- Do not throw batteries into fire as there is a risk of explosi- on. Batteries may also explode if they are damaged.
- Do not attempt to open or destroy batteries. If fluid leaks from a battery, make sure that this fluid does not come into contact with your skin or eyes. lfit does, clean your skin or eyes with water immediately or seek medical attention.
- Never charge the battery in an environment with acids and easily flammable materials.
- Battery to be used at the ambient temperatures between 10°C and +40°C only.
- Never put the battery on heaters and do not expose it to strong sunlight for a long time.
- After being subject to heavy load, let the battery cool down first
- If service is required, only send the entire device instead of removing the battery and sending it separately.
- The tool should be switched off and the soldering tip removed, as special hazardous goods regulations must be complied with otherwise.
Maintenance and repair
Follow the instructions on soldering tip replacement. Use original replacement
parts only. Always have your soldering tool repaired by a qualified

Warranty
Weller supplies this device with a warranty valid for two (2) years from the
date of purchase. The warranty relates to material and manufacturing defects
and covers both
replacement parts and labor. The warranty shall be void if the damage is due
to improper use and if the device has been tampered with by unauthorized
persons. This device conforms to the specifications of the EC Decla- the
ration of Conformity with Directives 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/ EU and 2011/65/EU
(RoHS).
Disposal
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material! In
observanceof European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic
equipment and its
implementation in accordance with national law, electric tools that have
reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an
environmentally
compatible recycling facility. Batteries must be disposed of according to &
regulations so that they can be recycled. Consumers are required by law to
take rechargeable batteries and regular batteries to a suitable collection
site. Do not dispose of them with Li-ion domestic waste.
