Usage and safety instructions

Read the manual completely before using the product!

Before using the fan heater, check whether the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your main supply!

Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself!

Never block the fan in the device.
This could damage the device or result in a fire or electric shock! -
Never block the air inlet of the fan heater!

Disconnect the plug from the power source if the device is not being used! Do not leave the fan heater unattended!

This device emits a lot of heat during operation. Therefore, touch only the operating controls. In case of doubt, use heat-resistant gloves.

Keep flammable materials such as pillows, paper, clothing, curtains, or other highly flammable objects away from the fan heater!

This device is intended for personal use only!

Please note! The fan heater is not suitable to be used in confined areas if they are occupied by persons who are not able to leave the room or the vehicle by themselves.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision!

This device can be operated by children from 8 years of age and above, as well as by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or who lack knowledge or experience if they have been supervised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device, and understand the resultant dangers.

Children should not play with the device!

CAUTION! Some parts of the product may become very hot and cause burns. Be very careful if children or frail persons are present.

Never immerse it in water for cleaning. Wipe the body with a dry cloth.

Place the device at least 30 cm from other objects.

Use this device only on a flat surface.

Disconnect the product from the mains when not in use or during cleaning.

Keep the product at least 90 cm away from flammable materials, such as furniture, curtains, bedding, clothing or paper.

Do not turn on the device if you find a defect in the power cord. Contact the manufacturer of the product in such cases.

This device is suitable only for properly isolated spaces or for occasional use.

The device should always be placed on a flat, level surface using the tilt protection at the bottom!

Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, a shower, or a swimming pool.

If the mains power cable of this device is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service personnel, or by an equally qualified person, so as
to prevent any risk. -
Children younger than 3 years should be kept away from it unless they are under constant supervision.

Children between 3 and 8 years may switch the device on and off only when they are supervised or have been instructed concerning the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting risks, provided that the device is placed or installed in its normal usage position.

Children between 3 and 8 years should not insert the plug into the socket, should not regulate the device, should not clean the device, and/or carry out user maintenance.

The heater should not be placed immediately below a wall socket.

Function
The Brandon fan heater is a practical and cost-effective alternative compared to a conventional heater. Warm up the desired area using the fan heater so that low temperatures become a thing of the past.

Initial use
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Place the fan heater on a level, flat surface so that the tilt protection at the bottom is not actuated. Put the switch on the rear of the device in the “OFF” (0) position and connect the device to a 220-240V AC mains socket. You can then set the on/off switch to the “ON” position (1).
To start the device, press the ” ” button on the control panel or on the
remote control. The fan heater now starts to emit cold air. Press the ” ” and
the ” ” button to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the
temperature. The heater will start heating if the set temperature is higher
than the room temperature. The symbol ” ” is displayed. The fan heater has 2
heat settings. Heat setting 2 is enabled if two ” ” symbols are displayed.
You can also manually configure if you want to enable heat setting 2 or heat
setting 1. To do this, press the ” ” symbol on the control panel.
Remote control
Use a CR2025 3V battery for the remote control. All the functions that can be performed using the remote control have the same function as those on the control panel of the fan.

Oscillation
To turn the oscillation on or off, press the ” ” button on the control panel at the top of the fan or on the remote control.
Timer function
You can enable the timer function by pressing the ” ” button. The currently configured timer stage is displayed. You can select between 0 to 8 hours.
Tilt protection
Thanks to the tilt protection at the bottom of the device, it switches off
automatically if the device tilts over. The fan heater can therefore be placed
on even and flat surfaces only.
Overheating
WARNING: To avoid overheating, the heater should not be covered.
Overheating generally occurs only if one of the openings of the fan heater is
covered, blocked, or clogged. This device has overheating protection. The
heater switches off automatically once the overheating temperature is reached.
If the device is therefore turned off, for this reason, disconnect the plug
and wait for 30 minutes. You can then attempt to turn on the device once
again. If this does not happen, please contact the customer service
department.
After you have switched off the device, the fan continues to run during the
cooling phase until it switches off.
Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. Use a dry, soft cloth.
Ensure that you do not touch the heater elements when cleaning!
You have to open the flap at the back to clean or replace the dust filter.
Remove the dust filter, clean it, and put the filter back.
Safety instructions and liability disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water, and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.
Disposal instructions
Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Directive and not with household rubbish. Components must be disposed of or recycled separately as dangerous, toxic elements can inflict sustained damage on the environment if they are disposed of incorrectly. As a consumer, you are bound by the Electrical and Electronic Devices Act (ElektroG) to return electrical and electronic goods free of charge at the end of their useful life to the manufacturer, the place of purchase or to specially set up, public collection points. supplier in the form of new batteries to the supplier’s despatch warehouse
(despatch address) free of charge. The symbols shown on the batteries have the
following meanings: Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of
lead, Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium, Hg =
battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of quicksilver.
The symbol of the rubbish bin with a cross-through it indicates that the battery may not be put in household waste.
