Assembly
Outdoor sensor
Your wireless 5-IN-1 sensor measures the wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, temperature and humidity.
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment cover underneath the sensor and insert the batteries according to the indicated polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Assembling the stand
(outer sensor)
- Install the sensor in an open area with 15 m clearance in all direc-tions.
- The sensor has to be mounted on a stable platform or bracket, which is fixed at least 1.5 m above the ground.
- The base of the sensor is screwed to the platform and the support frame. Tighten the large nut that secures the support rod to the base.
- When installing the sensor body, adjust it such that the solar panel faces south. Otherwise the wind direction will be wrong. Note the “N” for north mark on the top of the sensor (a compass is required for checking, and the “N” for north mark is the same as the “N” of the compass). When installing the sensor, use the top spirit level to ensure that the sensor is aligned horizontally. Otherwise the accuracy of the rainfall measurement will be affected.
- After carrying out the above two steps, fasten the two Allen screws on the side of the sensor body.
During the installation, the mounting screws of the wind cup and the wind di- rection indicator should be tightened and fixed firmly.
- Alternatively, you can fix the outdoor sensor to an existing pole. But make sure that the pole should be stable enough to support the out-door sensor. To do this, use the supplied pole bracket and mount the sensor to the pole.
Note: Make sure that the wireless sensor is installed within 100 meters of the weather station. Depending on the thickness of the obstacle be-tween the wireless sensor and the weather station, the distance should be reduced as much as possible. Otherwise, the data transmission can be affected.
Rain collector cleaning
The rain collector of the sensor has to be cleaned regularly (recommend-ed interval 1-3 months, depending on the frequency of rain):
- Remove the rain funnel by turning it in the corresponding direction of rotation as shown (open lock symbol).
- Carefully remove dirt or insects from the rain sensor.
- Remove dirt from the rain water funnel itself, especially dirt from the funnel outlet.
- Then replace the rainwater funnel.
Note: Do not apply oil to the rain sensor.
Installing the backup battery of the weather station
(main unit)
- Open the battery compartment at the back of the weather station.
- Insert two LR6 AA 1.5 V batteries. Pay attention to the polarity of the contacts.
- Replace the battery compartment.
Note: The following data is stored if the backup battery is intact: Time & Date, Max / Min & weather recordings of the past 24 hours, Alarm set-tings, offset values of weather data and sensor(s) -channel history.
Initial use
Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging materi-al. Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor and insert three 1.5 V AA batteries.
- Plug the mains adapter to switch on the weather station.
- Once the weather station is switched on, all the segments of the LCD screen are displayed.
Connecting the wireless outdoor sensor
After inserting the batteries, the weather station automatically scans and connects to the external sensor (the sensor antenna symbol flashes). Once the connection is successful, the antenna symbol and readings for the outdoor temperature and humidity, as well as the wind speed, wind direction and rainfall are shown on the LCD display. In most cases, the connection cannot be established due to specific fac-tors such as reinforced walls or too great a distance between the sensor and the main unit. In this case, position the sensor and the main unit closer to each other. Replacing the outdoor sensor battery Each time the batteries of the wireless 5-IN-1 sensor are replaced, a manual re-pairing has to be carried out.
- Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor
- Replace all the batteries in the sensor with new ones.
- Press the button “for manual signal” on the weather station.
- Press the “RESET” button on the 5-IN-1 sensor outdoor sensor.
- The outdoor sensor and the weather station should be connected within the next few minutes. If this does not happen, repeat this process.

Barometric pressure
The atmospheric pressure is the pressure at any location on earth caused by
the weight of the air column above the earth. Atmospher ic pressure refers to
the mean pressure and gradually decreases with increasing altitude.
Meteorologists use barometers to measure the atmospheric pressure. Since the
variations in atmospheric pressure are strongly influenced by the weather, it
is possible to predict the weather by measuring the changes in pressure The
air pressure unit can be selected in the basic settings.
