Important safety guidelines for this device
- Use the device for private and intended purposes only. This device is not intended for commercial use. Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight.
- Please do not keep the device in the immediate vicinity of water sources such as bathtubs, showers, washbasins or swimming pools.
- Do not use this device with wet hands.
- If the device becomes moist or wet, pull out the power plug immediately. Maintain your own safety and do not touch any conductive material on the device.
- Protect the device from moisture (under no circumstances should the device be immersed in liquid), sharp edges or large sources of dust.
- Do not keep the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources (e.g. ovens or heating systems).
- Keep it on an appropriate surface so that it does not tip over.
- Unplug the power plug when the de-vice is not in use, during transport, or during cleaning.
- Never leave the heater unattended and choose a location in which the device is safe from the reach of animals and children.
- Operate the device only with the voltage mentioned on the device label.
- This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the device and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children or untrained personnel.
- Keep the device and its connection cable out of reach of children under 8 years.
- For the safety of your children, keep the packaging parts away from their reach (plastic bag, foils, cartons or polystyrene).
- Do not allow small children to play with the foil or plastic bags as there is a risk of suffocation!
- While operating the device, ensure that the protective cage is closed.
- Never remove the cage for cleaning.
- Never insert your body parts (e.g. fingers) or objects through the protective grille.
- Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protective cage as it may be signed by the heat.
- If the power cable of this device is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service or by an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.
- Allow the device to cool down before cleaning it, or pull the power plug out of the socket.
- Wipe the device housing with a damp cloth and dry it subsequently with a clean dry cloth. Never immerse the housing in water for cleaning.
- Once the heater is assembled, the protective cage should not be removed.
- This device is not equipped with any mechanism to control the room temperature.
- Do not use this unit in small rooms if the rooms are occupied by persons who cannot leave the room independently. Unless they are constantly monitored.
- Children between the age of 3 and 8 should be allowed to switch the device on /off only if it has been set up or installed in its intended operating position if care has been taken to supervise or instruct concerning the safe use of the device and the associated risks have been understood. Children between the age of 3 and 8 years should not be allowed to connect the device to the power supply, to make any settings, clean or repair the device.
- The device should be securely placed on a horizontal level surface.
- CAUTION – Some parts of the product may become very hot and cause burns. Be very careful if children or frail persons are present.

Functions
The Brandson heater ensures focussed radiation of heat with three independently controllable heating elements. With three different heating levels and adjustable inclination angle, you can adjust the heater to your individual requirements.

Pedestal assembly
Take the heater out of the package and check the device as well as the scope
of delivery mentioned in the table above. Please contact the vendor if any
part is missing or damaged.
As shown in Figure (A), insert the lower tube (8) through the hole in the
pedestal cover (9) and the pedestal (10). Ensure that the welded end is below
and guide the extra flap into the shoulder of the pedestal. Fix the tube by
screwing the L-screw (12) through the washer (11) into the lower end of the
tube.
Then fix the middle tube (7) to the top of the lower tube (8). Now pull the
straight tube (3) out from the top. Turn the mounting ring (4) in clockwise
direction to press it together. Then fix the upper tube (5) to the middle tube
(7).
As shown in Figure (A), slide the straight tube (3) into the hole of the
control unit (1). Secure it using a M6*12 screw (2).
Turn the mounting ring (4) as shown in Figure (A) in the counter-clockwise
direction to loosen it and to position the heating element at the desired
height.
Figure (A) also shows how to attach the power cable to the cable clip (13).
The inclination angle of the heater is up to 25°. Simply adjust it to the
desired position. This is shown in Figure (C).
Wall assembly
Drill four holes in the desired place for the wall bracket. Ensure that there
are no gas, water or electricity lines running through the wall. Fix the
bracket (4) to the holes. Then, install the wall bracket (2) with the
corresponding self-tapping screws (3).
Connect the wall bracket to the heating element (C) and fix the two elements
using the thumbscrew (5).
Usage
Keep the heater at an appropriate location and connect the device to a
properly installed 220-240V AC socket. By tipping the protective cage, you can
change the angle of inclination according to your needs.
Flip the switch (14) on the back of the control unit to “1” to activate the
device. The heating process is not yet complete! The device is initially in
input mode.
By pressing the ON button on the remote control or the control panel, you can
turn on the first level. By pressing the “MODE” button, you can increase the
level, or reduce the level from the highest to the lowest. If you press the
OFF button on the remote control, the device is not switched off completely.
It goes to a power-saving standby mode and can be activated again at any time.
Due to the tilt protection, it switches itself off.
Cleaning
Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting with the cleaning process. Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning. The device should not be immersed in wa-ter for cleaning under any circumstances. This could lead to electric shock or fire!
