Thank you for purchasing the TEESA appliance. Please read this operation instruction carefully before use, and keep it for future use. The distributor does not take responsibility for damages caused by inappropriate handling and use of the product.

SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided
instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated
appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance.
Servicing double-insulated appliances requires extreme care and knowledge of
the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel.
Replaceable parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the
parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is marked with the words
“DOUBLE INSULATION” or “DOUBLE INSULATED”. The symbol (square within a square)
may also be marked on the appliance.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.

Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn on the appliance. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn off the appliance. -

Press to increase temperature, time, and choose the curling direction.
CURLING SETTINGS
- 9 temperature settings (150°C – 230°C)
- 3 curling directions (left/ auto/ right)
- 4 curling time settings (8s/ 10s/ 12s/ 14s)
Temperature setting
Press the – button to decrease the temperature. Press the + button to increase
the temperature. When temperature increases to the desired level, the
flashes. When
the temperature reaches set level, the stops flashing and the appliance
beeps twice.
*** Every time the appliance is switched on, it returns to the default
temperature setting which is 210°C.
Temperature setting depends on the type of hair:
- 150°C – 190°C for delicate, fine or damaged hair
- 190°C – 210°C for normal textured hair
- 210°C – 230°C for thick hair
Curling direction setting (left/ auto/ right)
Press the Mode button **M**
to switch to the curling direction setting (the
flashes).
Press the -/+ buttons to select left/ auto/ right curling direction. Press the
Mode button to confirm.
When set to LEFT, curl direction goes to left; set to AUTO, curl direction is alternate, when set to RIGHT curl direction goes to right.
Curling time setting
Press the Mode button m to switch to the curling time setting (the flashes).
Press the – button to decrease curling time. Press the + button to increase
the curling time. Press the Mode button to confirm.
*** When adjusting curling settings, the appliance beeps once with each press of a button.
OPERATION
Prior to curling make sure that your hair is dry and combed through.

Connect the plug of the power cord to the power supply socket. The appliance will beep for 2 seconds to indicate that power is on. OFF will appear on the display.

Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on the appliance (it will beep twice). The default temperature is 210°C, the curl direction is AUTO and the time is 12 seconds. Adjust desired settings (see “Curling settings”).

Wait until the appliance beeps twice; that indicates that the appliance reached the selected temperature.
Do not start curling until the appliance reached the selected temperature. -
Each time please select small hair strands. It is recommended to use the attached hair sectioning accessory to separate hair strands (especially when not acquainted with the appliance).

Use your thumb and forefinger to press the hair fastening opening buttons on both sides of the appliance to open the hair fastening. Make sure the open part of the hair chamber faces toward the head.

Put the upper part of the hair strand into the curling chamber opening and guide the remaining hair strand down the appliance ensuring it stays together. You can twist the section so that it will not split.

Release the hair fastening opening buttons- the hair fastening will close and hair will be automatically drawn into the hair chamber and start to curl. Do not open the hair fastening during the curling process. If opened, you need to take out the hair and put it into the curling chamber opening again.

During the curling process, the appliance issues beep at regular intervals.
-
When the appliance issues four beeps, press and holds the hair fastening opening buttons to open the hair fastening and slowly move down the appliance, taking out the curl.

Repeat those steps to create more curls.
-
After use, turn off the appliance by pressing the Power button and unplug it from the power supply socket.

Prior to cleaning and storing, make sure the appliance has cooled down completely.
-
Clean and store this appliance as described in the “Cleaning and storage” section.
TIPS:
- Always place the appliance with the open part of the curling chamber facing toward the head.
- Each time please select small hair strands. The less hair you put in, the better results you will get (small sections create tighter curls, and larger sections create looser curls).
- In order to keep better curl results, please do not comb your hair before they cool down.
SLEEP MODE AND AUTO SWITCH OFF
After 20 minutes of no operation, the appliance will enter sleep mode. After another 40 minutes, it will turn off automatically.
HAIR DETECTION
When you open the hair entrance and put your hair into the curling chamber, the appliance will detect that hair goes in and activate the motor. If no hair goes in, the motor will stop after one turn and beep once.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Before cleaning makes sure the appliance has cooled down completely.
- Clean the appliance with a soft and dry cloth.
- Do not use any abrasives or cleaning agents to clean this appliance.
- Store the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated place.
- When storing, make sure the power cord is not wound around the appliance.
