Levenhuk F30 digital wireless thermoprobe is designed to measure the temperature of various types of meat during home cooking

Clean the probe thoroughly before and after every use. Use a soft wet cloth and a gentle detergent. The appliance is not dishwasher safe. The temperature sensor gets very hot during use. Be careful!

Getting started

Before installing/replacing the batteries, make sure that the device is turned off. Insert the batteries into the transmitter (13) and the receiver (1). Insert the connector (15) into the socket (16) on the transmitter (13).

Connection

Switch on the transmitter (18) and the receiver (12). The symbols “– –” will appear on the display If the temperature sensor (14) is not connected to the transmitter (13), or the connection between the receiver (1) and the transmitter (13) has been interrupted. Make sure that the connector (15) is properly inserted into the socket (16). Unplug the receiver (1) for 3 seconds and then plug it back on. The current temperature appears on the display.

Setting the meat type and the doneness
Use only the freshest, highest quality meat when cooking lightly rare meat. Low cooking temperatures are not sufficient to cook frozen and vacuum-sealed meats.

Press (7) to select the meat type. Each press will change the meat type in the following order: Beef > Lamb > Veal > Pork > Turkey > Chicken > Hamburgers > Fish.
Press (3) to change the degree of doneness:

To set the cooking temperature manually, press and hold (4) for 3 seconds, then use the buttons (6) and (5) to set the target temperature. Press (4) to apply the selected settings.

Temperature measurement

Insert the tip of the probe into the measured material. Avoid bones and parts with a lot of fat. Wait a few seconds for the temperature to stabilize. When the set temperature is reached, the display backlight will turn red and a beep will sound. Press (7) to turn off the warning and return to the temperature measurement.

Timer function

Set the timer with the button (4), then (6), and (5). Press (3) to start the timer. To pause the timer, press (7). To resume the timer, press (3). When the set time ends, the red backlight will light up and a beep will sound. Press (7) to turn off the warning (it turns off automatically after 2 minutes). Press and hold (7) to reset the timer.

Care and maintenance

Never leave the thermoprobe inside a working oven or microwave, remove the device immediately after measuring the temperature. Keep the device away from open flames and hot surfaces. Always wear protective gloves during and after using the thermoprobe due to the risk of burns. Never use a damaged device. Use the device only for its intended purpose. Children should only use the device under an adult’s supervision. The device is suitable for indoor use only. The device is not waterproof. Strictly follow the instructions and do not disassemble or drop the device as it may result in a loss of functionality. Children should use the device under adult supervision only.

Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.
