SILICON LABS CP210x Universal Windows Driver Software
Product Information
The product is a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) device. It is designed to help individuals with sleep apnea breathe more easily during sleep by delivering a continuous flow of air through a mask.
The CPAP device requires drivers to be installed on a computer in order to establish communication between the device and the computer.
Product Usage Instructions
- Important: Prior to installing the driver, ensure that the CPAP device is unplugged from the computer.
- If the boxes on the computer do not become colored when plugging in your CPAP device, follow the steps below:
- Open a web browser and go to https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers.
- On the webpage, locate and select the “Downloads” section.
- Download the “CP210x Universal Windows Driver” by clicking on it.
- Navigate to your downloads folder and double click on the downloaded file.
- In the extraction window, click on “Extract All”.
- Leave the default folder as it is and click “Extract”.
- In your downloads folder, find the file named “silabser”. There will be two files with this name, but choose the one with an icon of a piece of paper and gear.
- Right click on the chosen “silabser” file and select “Install” from the menu.
- A pop-up message will appear indicating that the installation was completed successfully.
- Reset your computer.
- Open the MiniCPAP software on your computer.
- Plug in the CPAP device to the computer.
Drivers Install Instructions
Prior to installing the driver make sure that the CPAP is unplugged from the computer
- You will only need to do these steps, if the boxes do not become colored when plugging in your CPAP
- Go to https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers
- On this page you’ll select downloads
- Download the CP210x Universal Windows Driver by clicking on it
- Go to your downloads folder and double click on the file
- Click Extract All
- Leave the default folder and click extract
- Find the file called silabser , there are 2 of them. One will have an icon of a piece of paper and gear. Right click on it and choose Install from the menu.
- You will get a pop up that the operation completed successfully.
- Reset the computer, open the Mini CPAP software and plug in the device
