INSTRUCTIONS Important! Read the user instructions carefully before use. Save them for future reference. (Translation of the original instructions).

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate and that the power point is earthed.
  • Pull out the plug when the product is not in use.
  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug before cleaning and/or maintenance.
  • Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
  • Never use an extension cord —fire risk.
  • Protect the power cord from hot surfaces.
  • Do not use the product near a bath, shower or swimming pool. Do not place the product near a bathtub, shower, or sink etc. that contains water or any other liquid.
  • The product’s openings must not be covered.
  • Do not place the product near curtains or furniture —fire risk.
  • Do not place the product directly below a power outlet.
  • Never poke any objects into the openings on the product.
  • Do not place the product near flammable objects, or substances —fire risk.
  • Do not use the product with a timer or other device that switches it on automatically —fire risk if the infrared heater is covered over or in an unsuitable position.
  • Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.
  • Switch off the product, pull out the plug and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before moving the product.
  • Do not use the product in rooms where there are flammable substances (petrol, solvent, spray cans, etc.) or flammable materials (wood, paper, etc.). Keep such substances and materials away from the product —fire risk.
  • Never poke your fingers or any objects into the inlet or outlet openings — the risk of electric shock, fire and/or personal injury.
  • Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if it is not working properly after it has been dropped, or if the product is damaged in any other way.
  • A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized service center or other qualified personnel to ensure safe use.
  • The product is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorders, or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it, unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the product from someone who is responsible for their safety. Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. Do not allow children to use, clean, or maintain the product without supervision.
  • Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.
  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug from the power point before moving or cleaning the product.

WARNING!

  • Some parts of the product get very hot — the risk of burn injuries. Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.
  • The product does not have a thermostat.
  • Do not use the product unsupervised in small rooms where there are persons who cannot leave the room without assistance.
  • Do not cover the product, this can result in overheating.

 HOW TO USE

NOTE!:
The first time the infrared heater is switched on, or if it has not been used for some time, it may smell a little. This is normal and soon stops.

  1. Start the infrared heater by pressing the power switch.
  2. Switch off the heater by pressing the power switch.

MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the plug and allow the infrared heater to cool before cleaning.
  • Clean the outside with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a dry cloth.
  • Do not use detergents or abrasive agents. Make sure that no water gets into the infrared heater.

STORAGE

Store the infrared heater unplugged from the mains in a dry, clean and dust- free place.
