Set Up Your Device
(1) Download the SwitchBot app
Download our app on Apple App Store or Google Play and register an account.
iOS 11.0+ Android OS 5.0+
(2) Power on your device
Open the back of your Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer and remove the
battery isolation tab.
(3) Add your device to the SwitchBot app
Open our app, tap “+” at the top right of the home page, find the Indoor
Outdoor Meter icon and select, then follow the instructions to add your
device.
Precautions

Since this product relies on radio signals to transmit data, its data transmission can be easily affected by physical objects.
In an open space without any obstacles, its biggest transmission distance is 100 m (109.4 yd.). -
This product shows best performance when operated within the recommended temperature and humidity range of 5 °C to 60 °C and 20 % RH to 80 % RH respectively. Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may accelerate ageing.
App Features
1. Data Overview
On your Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer’s Data Overview page, you can view the temperature and humidity data and tap on the graph to see data at any specific moment.
2. Export Data
On the Data Overview page, tap Export Data below the graphs to save the data as a CSV file.
3. Setting Alerts
You can set temperature or humidity alerts in the app and you will receive notifications when Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer is within your phone’s Bluetooth range.
By connecting your Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer to a SwitchBot Hub
Mini/Hub 2 (sold separately), you can also use the following features:

4. Remote Access
You can monitor the temperature and humidity in your home remotely via our app.
5. Scenes
You can create a Scene to auto turn on/off your SwitchBot devices or appliances when a set temperature or humidity value is met.
6. Voice Control
Find out what the humidity or temperature in your home is by simply asking Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri after connecting your account to Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or enabling Siri Shortcuts.
7. Works with IFTTT
You can create an Applet on IFTTT to auto turn on/off your SwitchBot devices and appliances when a set temperature or humidity value is met.

Battery Replacement
Open the battery cover, remove old batteries, insert 2 new AAA batteries following the “+” and “-” signs. Then close the battery cover and press it down until it clicks into place.
Firmware Upgrades
In order to improve user experience, we will regularly release firmware updates to introduce new functions and solve any software defects that may occur during usage. When a new firmware version is available, we will send an upgrade notification to your account via our app. When upgrading, please make sure your product has sufficient battery and make sure your smartphone is within range to prevent interference.
Troubleshooting
Q: I cannot see temperature or humidity data in the app remotely.
A: You can only view temperature or humidity data remotely when your Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer is connected to a SwitchBot Hub Mini /Hub 2(sold separately).
Q: My Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer has incorrect temperature or humidity readings.
A: Open our app, go to the Settings page of your Indoor/Outdoor Thermo- Hygrometer, tap Calibration and follow the instructions to calibrate your device.
