SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
-
The product is only intended for household use indoors.
-
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
-
Place the product on a stable, level surface, out of the reach of children.
-
Do not use the product without liquid, this can damage the heater element.
-
The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. markings.
-
Only fill the kettle with cold water.
-
Do not immerse the power cord, plug or base in water or any other liquid – the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or personal injury.
-
Switch off the product before lifting the kettle off the base.
-
Keep your face, hands and other parts of your body away from the spout when the product is in use – the risk of scalding from hot steam.
-
Handle the kettle carefully when it contains hot water – the risk of scalding.
-
Allow the kettle to cool before filling it with water.
-
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle and buttons.
-
Close the lid before heating and never open the lid when boiling up the water – the risk of scalding.

Pull out the plug before cleaning and when the product is not in use. Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug if the product is not working properly. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.

This product can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the use of the product. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children
unless they are more than eight years old and are kept under supervision. -
Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.

Check the product and its power cord at regular intervals for damage. Do not use the product if it is damaged.

Do not attempt to repair the product. Repairs must be carried out by an authorized service center.

Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.

Do not expose the base and/ or the outside of the kettle to water.
-
Keep the product and power cord away from heat, sunlight, water and sharp edges.
-
Do not leave the product unattended. Switch off the product when not in use.
-
Never expose the product, the power cord or plug to water or any other liquid. Do not touch the product with wet hands.

Unplug the power cord immediately if the product gets wet.
-
Use the product only for its intended purpose.
-
Do not touch the contents of the kettle.
-
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.
-
The product must only be used with the supplied base.
-
Do not use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock, and/or personal injury.

Ensure that the lid is always properly closed.
WARNING!
Do not overfill the kettle, this can cause boiling water to overflow.

USE
HOW TO USE
Before using it for the first time, or if the product has not been used for a
long time, clean it by filling it to the MAX mark with cold tap water,
allowing it to boil, and pour out the water. Repeat at least once.
- Press the lock on the handle back to open the lid.
- Lift the kettle off the base before filling. Fill the required amount of water in the kettle. The water level should be between the MIN and MAX marks. Replace the lid and put the kettle on the base.
- Plug in and start the product by pressing the power switch. The status light goes on to show that the boiling is in progress.
- The product switches off automatically and the status light goes off when the water has boiled.
- Lift the kettle off the base and pour out the water.
NOTE:
- Do not overfill – Pay attention to the MAX marking, otherwise the risk of splashing. Check that the lid is closed before plugging in the plug.
- Check that the power switch can move freely and that the lid is properly closed. The kettle will not switch off if the power switch is blocked or the lid is open.
- Handle the kettle carefully and do not open the lid when it contains hot water – the risk of scalding.
- Pull out the plug when the kettle is not in use.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING:
- Descale the product regularly for the best functionality and life span.
- Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and allow it to cool before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive detergent or utensils on the kettle or any part of it, this can scratch the surface.
DESCALING
Descale the kettle regularly for the best functionality. Follow the
instructions of the manufacturer if using a special descaling agent. The
kettle can also be descaled with a mixture of equal parts of water and vinegar
as follows.
- Descale the product by adding 5 dl of vinegar and filling it with water, and leaving it to stand for at least 1 hour.
- Pour out the mixture. Wipe off any deposits with a damp cloth.
- Fill the kettle with fresh water, boil up, and pour out the water. Repeat. The product is now ready to use.
- Repeat the above procedure several times, if necessary.
- Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid. Wipe the outside of the kettle with a cloth moistened with mild detergent, then dry with a dry cloth.
- Grip the top part of the scale filter and pull up to release. Wash the filter with fresh water and allow it to dry before replacing it in the kettle.
