SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always take basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
  • Risk of personal injury. Never touch hot parts on the appliance. Always use the handle when the appliance is hot.
  • This appliance can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use.
  • Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
  • Keep your hands and the rest of your body away from steam and hot metal parts.
  • Do not open the refill opening when the appliance is in use. Pull out the plug and allow the appliance to cool before refilling.
  • Never steam clothes when they are being worn.
  • Never point the steam jet at people or animals.
  • Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged, if the appliance has been exposed to knocks and blows, or if it is not working properly. Take the appliance to an authorized service center to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
Fire risk
  • Never leave the appliance unattended when the power cord is plugged in.
  • Do not put the appliance away before it has cooled.
  • Put the appliance on a level, heat-resistant surface with the standout. Make sure that the appliance is stable.
  • Use the temperature setting given in the instructions, or which is suitable for the actual material. An incorrect temperature setting can damage the material. For materials of unknown sensitivity to temperature, start with the lowest temperature setting.
Electrical safty
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Any repairs should be carried out by an authorized service center or other qualified personnel.
  • A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized service center or qualified person to ensure safe use.
  • Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.
  • Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, and moving parts. Avoid bending, clenching, dragging, or driving over the power cord. Route the power cord so that there is no risk of tripping over it.
  • Pull out the plug before re­filling or cleaning, and when the appliance is not in use.
  • Always fully unwind the power cord before starting the appliance. Do not use an extension cord.
  • Do not touch the power cord or the plug with wet hands or wet parts of your body.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, and make sure no water gets into the casing. Do not expose the appliance to moisture and do not use it outdoors .. Pull out the plug immediately if water gets into the casing. Have the appliance checked and if necessary repaired by an authorized service center before using it again.
  • Do not use the appliance near a bathtub, shower or sink, etc. that contains water or any other liquid, or on wet surfaces – risk of electric shock.
  • Never open the casing on the appliance. Any repairs should be carried out by an authorized service center or other qualified personnel.

  • Do not use the appliance on clothes or material that according to the care instructions cannot be ironed – this will damage the material.
  • Only fill the reservoir with clean tap water and/or distilled water, otherwise, you could damage the garment.
  • Do not use abrasive or solvent-based detergents, this could damage the surface of the appliance.
  • Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children – the risk of suffocation.

Use

Intended use
  • The appliance can be used as a steam iron for textiles.
  • The extra water reservoir and steam burst function ensures excellent ironing.
  • The appliance is easy to pack and transport.
  • The crease device can be used for trouser turn-ups and collars etc.
  • The brush can be used to remove fluff from clothes, furniture, curtains and blankets etc.

WARNING!

  • • Do not use the appliance on clothes or material that according to the care instructions cannot be ironed – this will damage the material.
    • Do not use the appliance on leather, silk, waterproof materials or materials sensitive to steam – this could damage the material.

Before using it for first time

  • Unpack the appliance from the packaging.
  • Remove any stickers and protective film.

USE

Filling with water

  1. Release the water reservoir, open it and fill with fresh water.
  2. Firmly replace the lid.
  3. Replace the water reservoir. FIG. 2

Note:

  • Only fill the reservoir with clean tap water and/or distilled water. Do not pour any chemicals or detergent into the reservoir.
  • If the tap water is hard mix it with distilled water, otherwise scale can block the steam nozzles.
  • Empty the reservoir after use and press the steam button to evaporate residual water, otherwise, there is a risk of scale forming in the appliance.

Starting

  1. Make sure the reservoir is full.
  2. Plug the plug into a PowerPoint.
  3. Press the power switch so that the status light goes on.
  4. After 30 seconds the status light goes off to show that the set temperature has been reached.
  5. Press the steam button to produce steam. Steam is produced automatically when the button is held pressed in. FIG. 3

Ironing clothes and textiles

  1. Hang up the garment or fabric and stretch slightly.
  2. Start ironing at the top. Press the steam button and move the steam nozzle up and down along the fabric.

Creases
To form creases on clothes the fabric should be placed between the clip and the casing.

Disinfecting
The appliance can also be used for disinfecting. Steam at high temperature penetrates the treated material and produces in-depth disinfection.
