HANDLING

Description
This ultrasonic rodent and insect repeller is a stylish and effective unit that rapidly frees you from rats, mice and insects. The repeller fits in a bracket to allow multi-angle setting when installed on a wall or ceiling. It can also be placed on the floor or a shelf, and then simply be angled in different directions. The repeller is effective in controlling rats, mice, insects, cockroaches and most other common pests. Laboratory research has shown that ultrasound waves affect the auditory and nervous systems of most pests, causing them pain and discomfort. They abandon their feeding and watering places and leave their protection in order to escape the discomfort. The high-intensity, ultrasound waves are out of the range of human hearing and do not interfere with TV and radio reception, electronic burglar alarms, fire and smoke detectors, pacemakers, hearing aids or other electronic equipment. In addition, the repeller does not generate any electromagnetic interference, thereby offering an efficient, safe and risk-free method of getting rid of a host of different pests. This normally takes 4 to 6 weeks.

NOTE! The repeller cannot penetrate through walls or roofs. When the repeller is activated, a small red LED indicator comes on at the bottom of the main machine. This indicates that the repeller is working properly.

Installation, wall/ceiling

Install the repeller in the required location close to an electric socket and 1.8 to 2.7 metres off the floor. Use the enclosed screws to attach the bracket. Then fit the repeller in the bracket. Point the repeller in the required direction. Plug the mains adapter (9 volt DC) into the electric socket and connect the adapter cable to the input on the back panel of the repeller. If you prefer, the repeller can be placed on the floor or on a shelf. Otherwise follow step 2 above.
TIP: Point the repeller towards the area to be protected. If possible, the repeller should be positioned slightly facing a wall so that the sound waves can bounce off it. This increases the effect in the protected area. The illustration “How ultrasonic sound waves reflect” shows how the sound waves reverberate off the walls in a room.
