WARNING!
The air supply to the compressor must be disconnected if an air hose breaks or
is damaged. A broken air hose is extremely dangerous and can rotate at great
speed, causing injury to persons nearby and blowing foreign objects into the
air.
Do not attempt to catch the hose, but immediately evacuate all onlookers from
the risk area, turn off the air supply, switch off the compressor with the
power switch and then remove the hose from the compressor.

The declared values for vibration and noise, which have been measured by a
standardised test method, can be used to compare different tools with each
other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The measurement values
have been determined in accordance with EN 1012-1 :2010.
WARNING!
The actual vibration and noise level when using tools may differ from the
specified maximum value, depending on how the tool is used and the material.
It is therefore necessary to determine which safety precautions are required
to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating
conditions (taking into account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time
when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in addition to the start-
up time).

FIG. 5
USE
PREPARATIONS
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- Install the compressor as close as possible to the air consumption -the air hoses and cords should be as short as possible.
- Make sure the intake air to the compressor is dry and free from dust.
- Do not install the compressor in a damp area.
- The compressor is intended to be used in a well ventilated area and an ambient temperature of +5 to +40°C. The room should be free from dust, acid, fumes and flammable or explosive gas.
- The compressor is only intended to be used in dry areas. It must not be used in places where work is carried out with sprayed water.
POWER SUPPLY
- The electric motor is ready for use on delivery. The electrical circuits comply with the requirements in the VDE and DIN standards. The power point to which the product is connected and any extension cords must also comply with the requirements in these standards.
- The product has a power cord with an earthed plug. The plug can be connected to an earthed 230 V 50 Hz power point with a fuse of at least 16 A.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate on the product.
- Long extension cords can result in loss of voltage and make starting the motor more difficult. Extension cords up to 25 m must have a minimum cross-sectional wire area of at least 1.5 mm2
- The connection and the repair of electrical equipment must only be carried out by an authorised electrician.
- An ambient temperature below +5°C can also make starting more difficult or impossible.
INTENDED USE
-
The compressor is intended to be used for pneumatic tools with low air consumption (up to 1071/min), for example tyre pump nozzles, blower nozzles and paint guns.
The compressor is not suitable for tools with a high consumption of air, such as grinders or impact wrenches. -
The compressor must only be used as it is intended to be used. All other use is considered to be unsuitable.
-
The product is not intended for commercial or industrial use. Commercial or industrial use will invalidate the warranty.
HOW TO USE
Starting/stopping
Put the switch (8) in position “I” to start the compressor. Put the switch (8)
in position “O” to switch off the compressor.
SETTING THE WORKING PRESSURE
The air pressure can be read off on the pressure gauge (6) and adjusted with the pressure reduction valve (7). The set pressure is taken out through the quick-coupling (5).
PRESSURE SWITCH
The pressure switch is set at the factory and the difference in pressure between starting and stopping is normally 2 bar-the compressor normally starts when the pressure in the air tank has dropped to 6 bar and stops when the pressure increases to 8 bar.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
-
Switch off the product, pull out the plug and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before cleaning or maintenance – risk of electric shock and serious personal injury.
-
Wait until the product has cooled – risk of burn injury.
-
Relieve the pressure in the product before cleaning or maintenance – risk of personal injury.
CLEANING
- Keep the safety devices, ventilation openings and the motor housing free from dust and dirt.
- Clean the product after it has been used.
- Wipe clean with a clean cloth, or blow clean with compressed air at low pressure. Clean the product at regular intervals with a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent. Do not use strong detergents or solvents, they can damage the plastic parts. Make sure that no water gets into the product.
- Disconnect hoses and pneumatic tools from the compressor before cleaning.
Do not clean the compressor with water or solvent.
Cleaning the air filter
- Turn the air filter casing (12) in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
- Take the paper insert (i) out of the filter housing.
- Tap the paper insert (i) and filter housing to shake off any impurities. Vacuum clean the insert and filter housing if necessary. Refit in the reverse order.
FIG. 6
MAINTENANCE OF AIR TANK
IMPORTANT:
Drain all the condensation from the air tank (2) after use to reduce the risk
of rusting.
Relieve the pressure in the air tank first by opening the safety valve (14),
unscrewing the condensation drain plug (1) (screw anticlockwise), and allowing
the condensation to run out. Replace the drain plug (screw clockwise). Check
the air tank before use for signs of rust and other damage. Do not use the
compressor if the air tank is damaged or rusty- contact an approved service
centre.
POWER CORD
The insulation in the cord can easily become damaged Frequent types of damage
are:
– pinching when the cord passes through windows or doors
– creasing if the cord is not hung up or fastened properly
– damage caused by being run over
– damage cause by pulling the cord (always pull the plug)
– fatigue.
WARNING!
Cords with damaged insulation are dangerous and must not be used under any
circumstances.
- Check at regular intervals all power cords for damage to the insulation.
- Unplug the power cord from the power point before checking. Cord must comply with the requirements in the VDE and DIN standards. Only cords marked HOSVV-F must be used (type marking of cords is mandatory).
STORAGE
Store the product and all accessories in a clean, dry frost-free place, protected from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children. The best storage temperature is +5 to +30°C.
MPORTANT:
- Switch off the switch, pull out the plug and relieve the pressure (air tank, connected pneumatic tools etc.). Secure the power switch from accidental switching.
- Store the product upright (never flat or leaning) in a dry place out of the reach of children and other unauthorised persons.
PRESSURE RELIEF/EMPTYING
Relieve the pressure by switching off the compressor and running all the air out of the tank with a pneumatic tool, or blowing out the air with a blower.
TRANSPORT
Use the transport handle (1) to carry the product, or to run it on its wheels.
Take into consideration the weight of the product when lifting (see technical
data). Safely secure the product when transporting it in a vehicle.
