  1. Firstly use a Panel Removal Tool to unclip and remove the middle trim piece from the dashboard (Fig. A).
  2. Then pull out the air conditioning control unit and disconnect the ribbon cable. Remove the screws below the factory stereo and remove the stereo (Fig. B).
    • NB: Keep any clips, screws and parts from the disassembly process for potential reuse when fitting.CONNECTS2-CTKBM08-Vehicle-Integration-Kit-fig-4
  3. To make space for the Double DIN aftermarket stereo, an area needs to be cut away from the interior of the dashboard as shown below. See Fig C, D for an illustration of the areas removed after the cutting has been completed. We recommend contacting your local Halfords dealership if you require help or additional information.

  1. For vehicles with a switch panel located below the factory climate control unit (Fig. E), unclip and remove the switch panel from the unit and attach it to the new fascia panel. For vehicles without the switch panel, insert the included blanking panel into the fascia panel instead.
  2. Remove the air conditioning unit from its casing using a screwdriver to push down the clips (Fig. F). Insert the unit into the Double DIN fascia panel.CONNECTS2-CTKBM08-Vehicle-Integration-Kit-fig-6
  3. Feed the included ribbon connector up and re-establish the connection between the air conditioning control unit situated in the top opening of the fascia panel, and the switch bar, situated in the bottom opening of the fascia panel (Fig. G). This step can be ignored if the vehicle does not have a factory switch panel.
  4. Screw the included brackets onto the right and left hand sides of the Double DIN stereo with the six (6) screws included in the kit (Fig. H). The stereo is now ready to be installed into the dashboard.
