Product Usage Instructions
Electrotechnical Safety Instructions:
The LED strip is only suitable for installation in dry indoor rooms. Ensure
to have the installation carried out by a qualified electrician to avoid risks
of electric shock.
Scope of Delivery
The package includes a 1 x 5-meter LED strip with Parallel Protection class
III suitable for indoor use only.
Installation
- Switch off the voltage before installation and ensure it cannot be accidentally switched on again.
- Prepare the surface and place an insulation layer on conducting surfaces before mounting the LED strip.
- If necessary, shorten the LED strip by separating it at the marked position using a micro side cutter or an optional cutter.
- Peel off the self-adhesive film and gently press the LED strip onto the surface, avoiding direct pressure on the LEDs.
- Connect the LED strip to the power supply.
Disposal
Dispose of the electrical and electronic equipment in an environmentally
sound manner. Contact your local authority for proper disposal guidelines

The VARDAFLEX LED strip is only suitable for installation in dry indoor rooms.
Risk of electric shock!
Have the installation carried out by a qualified electrician. Any liability
claim for VARDAFLEX LED strips that have not been installed by the European
safety directives is void.
Caution!
- Only connect the VARDAFLEX LED strip to a suitable power supply (24 V DC).
- Only operate when completely unrolled.
- Connect VARDAFLEX LED strips in parallel

INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Switch off the voltage before installation. Ensure that the
voltage cannot be accidentally switched on again.
INFO: First connect the VARDAFLEX LED strip to a controller, if
available, and then to the power supply (not included in the scope f
delivery).
Caution: On conducting surfaces, place an insulation layer between the VARDAFLEX of dust, grease, and dry.
- Prepare surface.
- Shorten VARDAFLEX LED strip if necessary (fig. 1).
- Peel off self adhesive film and gently press on VARDAFLEX LED strip, do not press directly on the LEDs.
- Connect VARDAFLEX LED strip to the power supply.
SHORTENING THE LED STRIP
WARNING: Risk of electric shock!
Always disconnect the mains plug before shortening.
VARDAFLEX LED strip can be seperated anywhere (except at resistors) (fig.
1).
Separate the VARDAFLEX LED strip at the marked position. For a
tightly assembled LED strip is a micro side cutter or an optional cutter
required.
Caution: With soldered connections note that the soldering temperature is
260° C and the soldering duration a maximum of 10 seconds per soldering point.
