IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!

WARNINGS

• Make sure that the product has not been damaged during transportation!
• Can only be used with the built-in solar panel, not with other power supplies!
• The LED light source cannot be replaced. At the end of the life of the light source, the entire product must be destroyed.
• Do not let children near the cords! Otherwise, they can suffocate themselves with them.
• Make sure that no one pulls the storage bag over head! Otherwise there is a risk of suffocation.
• Do not set up the solar sail in wind, rain or snow!
• The solar sail cannot hold the weight of the snow. Do not expose it to snow.
• The sun sail does not provide sufficient protection against UV rays. Use sunscreen cream even under the parasol!
• If the weather turns bad, take down the sun sail immediately!
• The solar sail must not be installed in case of strong wind or storm. There is a risk of loosening the sun sail attachment. Even personal injury may occur in this case.
• Choose a location sheltered from the wind for setting up, for example one that is sheltered from the wind by trees, a hedge or a house! • Store the sun sail in a dry place, otherwise mold may form on it or the material may get damaged!
• The battery can only be replaced by an adult!
• When inserting the battery, pay attention to the correct polarity!
• Remove the battery if you do not use the product for a long time!
• If liquid has leaked out from the battery, wear protective gloves and clean the battery holder with a dry cloth!
• Attention! Risk of explosion in case of incorrect battery replacement! It can only be exchanged for an identical or substitute type!
• Do not expose the battery to direct heat and sunlight! Do not open, throw into fire or short-circuit!
• Do not weld or solder directly to the battery!

The product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

The solar sail with solar LED string lights is solar powered with a replaceable battery. The 3 cords included help to fasten the sun sail. The solar panel can be attached to the included stand, which can also be set into the ground with the included cutting spike. The angle of inclination of the solar part can be adjusted on the stand.

STARTUP

1. Find the place you want to install the solar sail at! Ideally, the solar panel should be exposed to direct sunlight.
2. Follow the pictures in the instruction to assemble the product!
3. Use the attached cords to secure the product!
4. You can turn the product on and off using the ON/OFF button on the back of the solar panel
5. You can switch between the 8 programs (1. combination of all programs, 2. wavy string of lights, 3. pairs of light bulbs in a changing rhythm, 4. slow smoldering, 5. fast flashing string of lights, 6. slow ignition/extinction , 7. fast flickering, 8. all bulbs light up continuously) using the MODE button on the back of the solar panel,
6. The duration of the lighting depends on how long and how strong the light was before. With
   a fully charged battery, the product lights up for 6-8 hours under ideal conditions.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

In order to the product functions optimally, it is necessary to clean the surface with a frequency depending on the degree of contamination, but at least once a month. Clean the product with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

If you experience a significant decrease of the lighting time, replace the NiMH battery in the solar panel housing!
Unscrew the back cover and replace the battery (1x 1.2V AA NiMH 1000 mAh).

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks imposed upon the manufacturer pursuant to the relevant regulations and shall bear all associated costs arising from such.
DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.
