PRODUCT OVERVIEW

With its solar-battery power supply, the garden lamp solves the night lighting of sidewalks, garden paths, driveways and front doors automatically and without additional electricity costs. The battery charged during the day by the built-in solar panel powers the 2 cold white LEDs at night. The lifetime of the light emitter is approx. 100,000 operating hours and does not require maintenance.

STARTUP

You can turn the device on and off using the on/off switch. When switched on, you can check the operation by covering the solar panel. After that, the lamp works automatically: the battery is charged during the day, and it turns on at nightfall and lights continuously. The duration of this depends on how long and how strong the light was before. Remember that the lamp is designed to work in the dark. In a bright environment, it only lights up dimly or not at all.
If you do not use the device for a long time (e.g. during the winter), switch off the product and after carefully cleaning the cover, store it at a temperature above freezing.

PLACEMENT

In order for the battery to be charged as much as possible – and to provide the voltage necessary for LED lighting as long as possible during the night – it is absolutely necessary to place it in a sunny place without shadows. The longer it is exposed to direct, strong sunlight, the longer it will glow. This can be approximately 4 hours after a bright day – although it will not reach full charge even then.

WARNINGS
Fragile! A damaged or broken product can cause cuts!

  • The product is not a toy and should not get into the hands of children!
  • The battery cannot be replaced!
  • At temperatures around the freezing point, the cooled battery does not supply enough voltage for proper operation.
  • Before winter sets in, it is recommended to disassemble, clean and store the device in a frost-free place.
  • Clean the cover – especially the solar panel – regularly, taking care not to scratch it with harsh cleaning agents!
