Getting Started

1. Remove packaging carefully to avoid damage.
2. Place the toaster on a flat, sturdy surface.
3. Ensure proper distance clearance as per the provided guidelines.
4. Plug the toaster into a power outlet to prepare for use.

Toasting Instructions

1. Set the toast control to desired level (e.g., 7).
2. Press down the lowering arm to start toasting.
3. The toaster will automatically turn off after about 4 minutes.
4. Repeat the toasting process 2 more times for optimal performance.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Unplug the toaster and let it cool down for at least 10 minutes before cleaning.
2. Use a damp cloth to wipe the external surfaces of the toaster. Avoid aggressive chemicals.
3. Do not submerge the toaster in water.
4. Clean the crumb tray from the opposite side of the switches and empty it regularly.
5. Hand wash the bun warmer if needed.

WARNINGS

Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. • This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not play with the device. Children only from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8. • Make sure the appliance has not been damaged in transit! • Appliance may only be used for toasting sliced bread! Do not use it for warming pastries, because their sugar covering, jam, or other filling can cause malfunction, fire or electric shock. • Use the bun warmer only for heating baked pastry and buns without filling, glaze and coating! Heating unauthorized products can cause malfunctions, fires, and electric shocks! • Risk of electric shock! Never try to pick the stuck slice of bread out with knife or other metal tools! • Do not place anything onto the top of the appliance! • Do not use the unit without properly fixed crumb tray! • Place the appliance only onto a stable and horizontal surface! • Always keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Always observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use! • The appliance must not be used with programmable timers, timer switches or stand-alone remote controlled systems that can automatically turn the unit on. • Only for indoor use, in a dry place! Protect it from humid circumstances (e.g.: bathroom, swimming pool)! • It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools or saunas! • The bread can light up, so do not use the appliance near flammable materials, e.g.: curtains. • Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning or relocating it. • Hold the plug, not the power cable when you pull it out from the electric outlet! • The touchable metal parts become hot when in use, do not touch! • Do not place the appliance onto electric or gas cooker, onto or near other heat source. • Operate only under constant supervision! • Do not operate unattended in the presence of children! • If any irregular operation is detected (e.g. unusual noise or burnt odor from unit), immediately switch it off and remove the power plug! • Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight and direct heat radiation! • Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands! • Make sure, that the power cable and the plug can not get in touch water or any other liquids! • Unwind the power cable completely! • The appliance may only be connected to properly grounded 230V ~/50 Hz electric wall outlets! • Do not use extension cords or power strips to connect the unit! • Power cable must not get in touch with hot surface!! • The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug! • Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally, and do not let it hang over the edge of a table! • Heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance are still warm for a while after the unit has been switched off! • Switch off the appliance after every use, and unplug the power cable! Store the appliance at dry, cool place! • The unit is intended for household use only. Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.

INSTALLATION

1. Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the connecting cable. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!
2. Stand the unit onto a stable, horizontal surface!
3. Always keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Always observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use!
4. Plug the unit into a standard grounded wall socket! Now the unit is ready for operation.
5. Set the toasting level to 7, and push down the lifting lever when the slot is empty. The unit will switch off after approx. 4 minutes.
6. Repeat this twice.
7. After that the appliance is ready for use.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

1. Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning!
2. Let the appliance cool down! (10 minutes)
3. Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit’s outer surface. Do not use any aggres-sive cleaners! Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance!
4. It is prohibited to immerse the unit to water!
5. Pull the crumb tray to the direction opposite with the switches and remove it. Remove the crumbs and the slices possibly stuck, then push back the crumb tray to its place til it clicks.
6. Wash the bun warmer by hand

TOASTING

1. Place a slice of bread in the baking spaces. The slices should not be jammed.
2. Select the desired browning level. Approximate first roasting times:
   • Level 1: 1 min 15 sec
   • Level 4: 2 min 45 sec
   • Level 7: 4 min 15 sec
3. Intelligent toasting: The device takes into account how warm it is, so with continuous use, the baking time is reduced. Thus, the bread is always browned to the same degree at a given level.
4. Press down on the lowering arm. If the device is not powered, the lowering arm will not stay down.
5. You can cancel toasting at any time with the CANCEL (4) button.
6. At the end of toasting, the arm jumps to the upper position, the hot toasted bread can be removed.
7. Danger of electric shock! Never try to pry out a stuck bread slice with a knife or other metal tool!

REHEAT FUNCTION

1. Place the slices of bread to be heated in the oven compartments. The slices should not be jammed.
2. Press down on the lowering arm. If the device is not powered, the lowering arm will not stay down.
3. Press the REHEAT (5) button. The button lights up.
4. After pressing the button, regardless of the set toasting level, after 30 seconds, the arm jumps to the upper position, the LED goes out, and the warm bread can be taken out.
5. You can cancel reheating at any time with the CANCEL (4) button.
6. Risk of electric shock! Never try to pry out a stuck bread slice with a knife or other metal tool!

DEFROST FUNCTION

1. Place the slices of bread you want to defrost in the oven compartments. The slices should not be jammed.
2. Select the desired browning level.
3. Press down on the lowering arm. If the device is not powered, the lowering arm will not stay down.
4. Press the DEFROST (6) button. The button lights up.
5. From the moment the button is pressed, the time of the set toasting stage is postponed by ~30 seconds, at the end of which the arm jumps to the upper position, the LED goes out, the thawed and toasted bread can be taken out.
6. You can cancel defrosting at any time with the CANCEL (4) button.
7. Danger of electric shock! Never try to pry out a stuck bread slice with a knife or other metal tool!

BUN WARMER
Use the bun warmer exclusively for heating baked pastry and buns without filling, glaze and coating! Heating unauthorized products can cause malfunctions, fires, and electric shocks!

1. Fold the legs of the bun warmer outwards until they stop.
2. Place it on top of the toaster so that all four protruding elements of the legs are in the oven compartment.
3. Place the product you want to heat on the bun warmer.
4. Set the toaster to level 1 and press down the lowering arm.
5. After the arm jumps to the upper position, carefully remove the heated product from the bun warmer.
6. Do not touch the grids of the bun warmer because they are hot.
7. You can cancel the heating at any time with the CANCEL (4) button.
8. Remove the bun warmer before using the toaster normally.
