Product Information

The Residential Meteor Lights come in three models: SLDML-36W, SLDML-36WW, SLDML-36RGB. They are designed for easy DIY installation and feature a built- in Photo Electric Cell for automatic operation. The kit includes 10 Meteor Lights, a 2w Separate E.R.E Solar Panel, a Panel Mount Spike, and a 5m Cable from the Solar Panel. The lights are available in White, Warm White, or Red, Green & Blue colors.

Installation Instructions

  1. Remove contents from packaging.
  2. Press the button on the back of the solar panel to turn it ON (Note: The light is shipped with the power button in the OFF position).
  3. Decide where to install your lights and panel:
    • Meteor Lights: Situate the lights as desired ensuring that the cable length reaches the solar panel and each light.
    • Panel: Mount the panel within cable length using the ground mount spike or surface mount option. Ensure maximum direct sunlight exposure during the day. Attach the cable from the panel to the lights.

Important Notes

  • Place the solar panel where it can receive a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight.
  • On overcast days, the solar panel will still charge but less efficiently. This may result in the light turning off earlier than specified.
  • Avoid installing the solar panel under street lights or porch lights to prevent sensor issues.

INSTALLATION METHOD

  1. Remove contents from packaging
  2. Press button on the back of solar panel “ON” (Please note; your light is packaged & transported with the power button in the “OFF” position)
  3. Decide where to install your lights & panel
  4. Meteor Lights – Locate where to situate your lights and install them as you wish making sure that the length of cable will reach to the solar panel and each light
  5. Panel – Mount panel within the cable length either via the supplied ground mount spike or using the surface mount option on a nearby roof or wall. Ensure it will receive maximum direct sunlight during the day. Attach the cable from panel to lights

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Please ensure you place your solar panel in a location where it can achieve a minimum of 6HRS DIRECT SUNLIGHT
  • Be aware that on overcast/cloudy days, the solar panel will still charge. However, not as efficiently as a sunny day, so the battery may not reach full capacity. Therefore, your light may turn off earlier than specified
  • It’s best not to install the solar panel underneath a street light, porch light etc. because this may stop the automatic day-night sensor triggering and result in your lights not turning on
