turn on at dusk at 70% total brightness until the battery either runs flat or
daylight is sensed
P – PIR Sensor Mode
This setting puts your light into sensor mode where by any movement detected
will trigger the light to perform at 100% for approx. 1 minute. At all other
times an ambient soft glow is emitted
OFF – Light is manually switched off and will not operate but will still
charge – Do not leave in this setting for any extended period of time, 72hrs
maximum
INSTALLATION METHOD
-
Remove contents from packaging
NOTE : Before continuing, we recommend you put your light in direct sunlight (with the switch in the
“OFF” position) for 2 days before installation -
Locate a position where your light will receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day
-
Make sure to switch your light head to the mode you wish to operate in before installation (FIGURE 2)
-
Using the supplied Nuts & Bolts, fix the pillar base mount in your desired location
-
To connect light head to the top of your pillar base, twist the light head into the connector (FIGURE 1)
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Please ensure you place the solar panel in a location where it can achieve a minimum of 6HRS DIRECT SUNLIGHT
- Be aware that on overcast/cloudy days, the solar panel will still charge. However, not as efficiently as a sunny day, so the battery may not reach full capacity. Therefore, your light may turn off earlier than specified
- It’s best not to install the fitting underneath a street light, porch light etc. because this may stop the automatic daylight sensor triggering and result in your lights not turning on
