W-782 LED Retrofit Lamp

WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. LED Retrofit Kit installation requires knowledge of luminaire electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation.
Contact a qualified electrician. -
WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. Install this kit only in the luminaires that have the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings and where the input rating of the retrofit kit does not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.

Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.

WARNING – To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

Installers should not disconnect existing wires from lampholder terminals to make new connections at lampholder terminals. Instead installers should cut existing lampholder leads several inches away from the lampholder and make new electrical connections to lampholder lead wires by employing applicable connectors.

This product is rated 120-277V, however in the US it should only be used on branch circuits permitted in Section 210.6 of the US National Electrical Code for E26 or E39 (EX39) lampholders.

THE RETROFIT KIT IS ACCEPTED AS A COMPONENT OF A LUMINAIRE WHERE THE SUITABILITY OF THE COMBINATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE AND APPROPRIATE ELECTRICAL CODES. THE INSTALLATION GUIDE DOES NOT SUPERSEDE LOCAL OR NATIONAL REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. INSTRUCTION:
STEP 1: Disconnect power from the luminaire and follow proper lockout/tagout
procedures before beginning installation or maintenance.
STEP 2: Remove the existing lamp. Dispose of the lamps per local equirements.
STEP 3: Disconnect and remove the existing ballast, capacitor, and ignitor.
Dispose of the components per local requirements.
STEP 4: Connect the Line wire (Line/Hot) to the center contact (eyelet) of the
lamp holder.
STEP 5: Connect the Neutral wire (Common) to the shell of the lamp holder.
STEP 6: Insert and screw in the LED Retrofit lamp into the lamp holder.
STEP 7: Close the wiring compartment. Watch to be sure the wires are not
pinched, bound, or crimped when closing the compartment.
STEP 8: Switch on the power.
