Product Usage Instructions

1. Installation:
   The product should be installed by a qualified electrician. Ensure power is off at the fuse box before installation to prevent electrical shock.

2. Adjusting LED Strip Length:
   If the length of the BA42 strip needs to be adjusted on-site, cut the LED strip between the solder pads. Always cut from the end with no wire leads.

3. Connector Installation:
   Check the polarity, then remove the paper backing on the end of the LED Strip. Insert the LED strip into the tube and push it until it touches the end wall of the tube. Use wide pliers to push down metal clips.

4. LED Strip Installation:
   Clean the area thoroughly where the LED strip will be installed. Remove the paper backing from the LED strip and firmly press down to ensure no air bubbles. Install the LL-ZIP Strain Relief Clip away from the end of the strip to avoid ripples.

5. Strain Relief Installation:
   Place the strain relief in the desired location, ensuring it is 3 inches away from the end of the strip. Slide the zip tie through the strain relief opening, lay the wire lead on top of the strain relief, and tighten the zip tie around the lead wire. Cut off excess zip tie.

• Q: Can the product be installed vertically?
  A: The product is designed for under-cabinet or shelf mount installation but can also be placed horizontally as an option.

Installation Instructions

Please read all instructions before installation and keep them for future reference!

• The product should be installed by a qualified electrician.

• Use only with Class 2 power unit. Utiliser seulement avec Classe 2 unite d’alimentation electrique.

1. If the length of the BA42 strip needs to be adjusted on-site, simply cut the LED strip in between solder pads. Always cut from the end with no wire leads.

   • Remove the paper backing from the LED strip and firmly press down making sure there are no air bubbles that can cause surface irregularities
   • Install LL-ZIP Strain Relief Clip 3” away from the end of the strip.
6. Place the strain relief in the desired place. Make sure it is 3” away from the end of the strip.
   • Slide the zip tie through the strain relief opening.
   • Lay wire lead on top of strain relief.
   • Tighten the zip tie around the lead wire. Cut off excess zip tie.

Wiring

1. RECOMMENDED LAYOUT FOR MULTIPLE ADJACENT RUNS OF LINED FED WITH SEPARATE POWER SUPPLIES
   Position power supplies either in the middle of two runs or at the opposite ends.

2. Always ensure power to the power supply is off! Follow the diagrams to connect power feed wires to the power supply. Refer to the power supply instructions for the wiring line voltage side.
