Product Usage Instructions

• Cutting Extrusion & Lens:
  • Use the proper blade for aluminium to cut extrusion to the desired length.
  • LineLED can be shortened along dashed lines; ensure not to touch the metal endcap.
• Installation:
  • Insert extrusion into the opening and secure with screws spaced every 14 units.
  • Install endcaps at each end of the extrusion.
  • Clean the extrusion before installing LineLED and push gently onto the aluminium extrusion.
• Diffuser Lens Installation:
  • Remove the protective film from the diffuser lens and snap it into the aluminium extrusion.
  • Apply silicone to edges if installing facing up in wet locations.
• Power Connection:
  • Ensure the correct wattage and voltage power supply is used.
  • Connect LineLED wires from extrusion to power supply following wiring instructions.

• Q: Can the extrusion be installed in wet locations?
  • A: Yes, but drainage holes should be drilled along the inner corner of the extrusion every 12 units and silicone applied to the edges.

Please read all instructions before installation and keep them for future reference!

1. PRODUCT TO BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.

6. SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATION WITHIN THE CLOSET STORAGE SPACE.

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. If necessary extrusion & lens can be cut in the field. Using the proper blade for aluminium, cut to the desired length.
   • Caution: Safety equipment is recommended when modifications are being made to the extrusion & lens.
2. LineLED can be shortened by cutting along the dashed lines in between the solder pads. Make sure the cut is made on the side of the LineLED without the wire leads. LineLED cannot touch the metal endcap which will shorten the circuit.
3. Install endcaps at each end of the extrusion.
4. Insert extrusion into the opening, and use a screw to secure.
   • Screws should be spaced every 14” for proper securement.
5. Before installing LineLED to extrusion, clean the extrusion from any debris. Make sure the power feed goes through the power feed opening on the end cap first. Then gently push LineLED onto aluminum extrusion.
6. Remove the protective film from the diffuser lens. Snap the diffuser lens into the aluminium extrusion.
   • Note: If installing facing up in wet locations, apply silicone to the edges of the endcaps. Followed by applying silicone to the edge between the lens and extrusion, make sure to clean off any excess silicone.
   • Note: Extrusion is not waterproof. If it is going to be installed facing up and in a wet location, drainage holes should be drilled along the inner corner of the extrusion every 12”. Drill 1/16” to 1/8” diameter holes before installing the LED strip.
7. Ensure the correct (wattage & voltage) power supply is used to power LineLED. Then proceed to connect LineLED wires from the extrusion to the power supply. For more information please refer to the power supply and LineLED wiring instructions.
