IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

• WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other) designed to mitigate the risk of electric shock. The plug can be inserted into a polarized outlet in only one orientation. Should the plug not flt securely in the outlet, reverse its position. If proper flt is still not achieved, seek assistance from a qualified electrician.
• CAUTION: To prevent electric shock, ensure the wider blade of the plug is aligned with the corresponding wider slot in the outlet, and insert it fully.
• Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted.
• WARNING: To minimize the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, it is imperative to thoroughly read and adhere to all safety instructions before operating this product.

SECTION 1: Electric Shock Hazard

1. Avoid immersing the heat pad under any circumstances.
2. Ensure the tank is not placed on the cord or plastic housing.
3. Dispose of the pad if you observe any indications of degradation, such as cracks, blisters, melting, or changes In color.
4. Regularly examine the cord. Refrain from usage if the cord displays damage or fraying.

SECTION 2: Fire Hazard

1. Do not attach the reptile heat pad to the bottom of a terrarium and then place the terrarium directly on any type of table, floor, or carpet.
2. Always use solid objects as supports under your terrarium, allowing proper heat dissipation. If uncertain about bottom mounting, consider the recommended side mounting of the reptile heat pad.
3. Ensure the heat pad Is kept away from sawdust and other flammable materials.

SECTION 3: Proper Placement of Heat Mat

1. Avoid placing on heat-sensitive surfaces {e.g., antique furniture, plastic, etc.).
2. The Reptitrip reptile heat pad is designed for use exclusively on standard glass aquariums. We cannot assume responsibility for custom or homemade enclosures, and using the Reptitrip reptile heat pad on such enclosures will result in voiding the warranty.
3. Use the Reptitrip reptile heat pad solely with glass terrariums:
   • Do NOT use with acrylic cages
   • Do NOT use with metal cages
   • Do NOT use with wood cages
   • Do NOT use with plastic cages
   • Do NOT use with foam cages

SECTION 4: Room Temperature

1. Whenever the room temperature in your home exceeds 80º F (26.6ºC), make sure to unplug your Reptitrip reptile heat pad, unless you are utilizing the thermostat to regulate the heat pad.
2. Considering heat dissipation during conduction, it is advisable to set the desired temperature one or two degrees higher than your intended target temperature.

SECTION 5: Placement of Reptile Water Bowl

1. Avoid positioning the water bowl directly above the heat pad.
2. When the terrarium’s bottom becomes wet, it may lead to stress cracks in the heat pad due to this configuration. Always opt for a substrate with water-absorbing properties and ensure the water bowl is placed on the terrarium’s opposite side from the Reptltrlp reptile heat pad.

To minimize the risk of stress cracks resulting from water spills and other factors, we recommend the side mounting of the heat pad.

POWERING AND SETUP

NOTE:
To avoid any damage, please ensure that you have carefully read and fully understood the following procedures before starting, as incorrect operation may result In serious harm to you or your device.

• STEP 1: Clean the surface of the terrarium, especially the side with the attached heating mat.

• STEP 2: Peel off the adhesive paper from the back of the heating mat.

• STEP 3: Peel off the adhesive paper from the back of the heating mat and stick the heat mat to the bottom or side of the terrarium.

  • Gently rub the heating mat to ensure it securely adheres to the surface of the terrarium.
  • Please remember to always use a solid object as a lift to elevate the terrarium, allowing heat dissipation.

• STEP 4: Secure the temperature sensor probe safely in a desired position within the terrarium using the provided suction cups.
  The temperature sensor is recommended to be positioned within the area where the heating pad provides warmth, to obtain more accurate temperature readings.

• STEP 5 (OPTIONAL):
  Hang the thermostat on the screw by using the hole located on its top to secure it. Alternatively, affix the self-adhesive hook onto the terrarium, and then suspend the thermostat from the hook.

• STEP 6: POWER-ON
  Connect the power plug of the heat mat to an outlet to activate it.

PROGRAMMING

BEFORE SETTINGS

1. After powering on, the thermostat screen displays all parameter values for 2 seconds, then switches to the operating mode interface, with the current time displayed as the default at 8:00 AM, and the default set temperature(SV) is 90°F.
2. The current ambient temperature value(PV) detected by the temperature sensor probe is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen.

STEP 1: SET CLOCK

1. Long-press the “SET” button (3 seconds) to enter the current time setting. At this point, the hour digits of the clock will start blinking.
2. Press the “+” or “-” button to set the time of day, including AM and PM.
3. Press the OK(ON/OFF) button to switch between Hour and Minute time settings.
4. Press the “SET” button (3 seconds) to save your changes and access the SV value setting. The SV and 90°F will begin flashing at the same time.

STEP 2: SET THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE VALUE (SV)

1. After completing [STEP 1.4], SV and 90°F will flash, signaling the start of the SV value settings.
2. Press the “+” or “-” button to set the temperature from 68-113°F( 20-45’c).
3. Press the SET or OK(ON/OFF) button to save your changes and access the main Interface.

TIPS:

• After saving the settings, the power output is displayed on the screen as a progress bar and percentage, continuing until the progress bar is full and the percentage reaches 100%.
• If no further action is taken within 10 seconds, the settings will be automatically saved.
• Except for the current time, the set temperature values(SV) will be saved automatically after a power outage and will resume once power is restored, without requiring further setup.

OTHER SETTINGS

1. Simultaneously long-press the “SET” and “+” buttons for 3 seconds to switch between Celsius (“C) and Fahrenheit (°F) unit.
2. Long-press the OK(ON/OFF) button (3 seconds) to turn the device on or off. ON and OFF are displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS:
REPTITRIP store warrants this product (see Exclusions below) to the original purchaser against defective material and workmanship that occurs during normal use for 2 months from the date of original purchase. The store will, at Store’s option, either repair or replace the same without charge (but no cash refunds will be made).

EXCLUSIONS:

1. Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, subjecting the product to any but the specified electrical service, other than normal use of the product, subjecting the product to abnormal working conditions or any other failure not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
2. Damage resulting from modification, tampering with, or attempted repair by anyone other than the Store.
3. Transfer of product to someone other than the original consumer purchaser.
