WARNINGS FOR THE COT

NOTE!
IMPORTANT! READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

  1. Do not use this product without first reading the manual.

  2. Stop using the product as soon as the child is able to sit, kneel or pull itself up.

  3. Placing additional items in the cot can cause suffocation.

  4. Do not place the product near an item that may pose a strangulation risk, such as cords, ropes/curtains, etc.

  5. Do not use more than one mattress in the product.

  6. The product should be placed on a level floor.

  7. Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised near the cot.

  8. The cot should be locked in a fixed position when the baby is left unattended.

  9. All mounting components should always be properly tightened.
    Be careful that no screws are loose, as the child may catch on them with body parts or clothing (e.g., cords, necklaces, toy ribbons, etc.), which may pose a risk of strangulation.

  10. The maximum thickness of the mattress is marked with a line on the inside of the cot. Do not use a thicker mattress than allowed.

  11. Be aware of the risks posed by cigarettes, open flames or other sources of high temperature such as electric stoves, gas stoves, etc., near the cot.

  12. The permissible maximum inclination of the cot is a difference of 2 levels. The child’s head must always be on the side set in a higher position.

  13. DO NOT use the cot if any part is missing or broken or damaged. Contact Lionelo for spare parts and instructions if needed. DO NOT replace parts in the cot yourself.

WARNINGS FOR THE MATTRESS

IMPORTANT! READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

  1. Do not use the mattress if any part is broken, torn or lost, use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
  2. Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
  3. Be aware of the risks posed by open flames or other sources of high heat such as electric stoves, gas stoves, etc. near the cot.

WARNINGS FOR THE BEDSIDE COT:

  1. DO NOT use the cot if any part is missing, damaged or broken.
    Contact Lionelo for spare parts and instructional documentation if required. DO NOT replace parts in the cot yourself.

  2. The height from the floor of the adult bed for which the cot is suitable is between 44.5 and 59 cm.

  3. The bedside cot is designed exclusively for standard adult beds.
    Do not use the product with water beds or rounded shapes.

  4. Do not use attachment systems other than those described in the manual.

  5. Never use the bedside cot in a reclined position.

  6. To avoid the risk of suffocation, always attach the bedside cot correctly to the parents’ bed using the attachment systems described in the manual.

  7. There must be no free space between the bottom of the cot and the mattress of the adult bed.

  8. Before each use, check the tension of the cot attachment system by pulling the cot away from the parent’s bed.

  9. If there is space between the cot and the adult’s bed, DO NOT use the product.

  10. The space between the cot and the adult’s bed should not be filled with pillows, blankets or other objects.

  11. DANGER! Always fully raise the drop side when the cot is not attached to an adult’s bed.

  12. WARNING: To avoid the dangers of the baby’s neck catching on the top of the lowered side of the cot at the parent’s bedside, make sure that the top rail is not higher than the adult mattress.

  13. WARNING: To avoid the risk of strangulation of the child, the attachment system to the parent’s bed should always be retracted and kept away from the cot.

Installation instructions

  1. Slide the legs of the cot (9, fig. A) into the corresponding place on the frame (fig. 1). Correct installation will signal a click.
  2. Slide the stabilization bar (6, fig. A) into the guides on both sides of the cot frame (fig. 2).
  3. Slide the carrycot base (5, fig. A) into the guides on both sides of the cot frame (fig. 3).
  4. Pass the harness (7, fig. A) through the corresponding holes in the cot cover (A, fig. 4) and then insert the stabilization plate (2, fig. A). Tighten the straps by fastening over the top of the plate (B, Fig. 4).
  5. Insert the mattress (fig. 5). The line in the cot cover indicates the maximum permissible height of the mattress used in this product (A, fig. 5).
  6. The cot has been correctly installed (fig. 6).

Height adjustment
To change the height of the cot, two movements are required.

  1. Lift the upper part of the height adjustment handle (1, fig. 7).
  2. Press the button on the handle.

Once the above is done, set the selected height while holding the stabilization bar with your foot (fig. 8).
There are five cot heights available. It is also possible to set different heights on either side.
WARNING: The permissible maximum inclination of the cot is a difference of 2 levels. The child’s head must always be on the side set in a higher position.
Rocker function
To use the rocker function, move the locking handles (1, fig. 9) and then lift all the wheels (2, fig. 9) so that they are not in contact with the ground (fig. 9). The correct locking of the wheels in the selected position will be signalled by the click of the locking handle.
Wheel lock
To lock the wheels, press in the locks located on each wheel (A, fig. 10). To unlock the wheels, lift the wheel locks (B, fig. 10).

Bedside cot function

In order to use the bedside cot function, the product must be prepared accordingly.
To do so:

  1. Unfasten the zips on both sides of the opening side (fig. 1, fig. 11).

  2. Slide the locks (2, fig. 11) and remove the cot frame connecting piece (3, fig. 11).

  3. Lower the side wall of the cot (fig. 12).

  4. Align the cot with the parents’ bed and adjust the height of the cot so that the parent’s mattress is of equal height or a maximum of 2 cm higher than the top edge of the falling side of the cot (fig. 16).
    Note! The bottom of the cot in the bedside cot function must be parallel to the ground. A difference in level between the sides of the cot is not permitted.

  5. Connect the mounting straps to the buckles on the side, next to the frame of the cot (fig. 13).

  6. Guide the mounting straps under the mattress as indicated in the illustration (fig. 14), then tighten the straps to adjust their length to the parents’ bed (fig. 15).

  7. Connect the mounting straps to the cot by fastening the buckles.

  8. Make sure that there is no gap between the cot and the parents’ bed and that the cot is attached sufficiently firmly and stably to the parents’ bed.

NOTE: Before each use, check that there is no space between the parents mattress and the side wall of the cot.
WARNING: Use of the product is only permitted with beds and/or mattresses that have straight sides. The use of the product next to beds and/or round mattresses and water mattresses is prohibited.
Removal of cover
To remove the cover, lower the side wall of the cot and slide out the frame connector piece (3, fig. 11). Then unfasten the hook-and-loop fasteners located on the falling side and slide out the stiffening board. Once this has been done, using a zip fastener, detach the entire cover and slide it off the frame.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • The cot cover and mattress cover are hand-washable at 30°C.
  • Metal and plastic parts should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents.
  • Never clean any part of the cot with abrasives, ammonia, bleach or alcohol.
  • Store the cot in a dry place, away from sources of heat and humidity. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
