  • To obtain the maximum range, hold the Remote Transmitter in a vertical position away from your body.
  • Keep the antenna away from your body or fingers at all times, touching the antenna will greatly reduce the range.
  • Terrain, weather, vegetation, vehicles, buildings, transmission from other radio devices, and other factors will affect the range.

Training Tips

  1. Your dog must know some basic obedience commands before beginning training with the electronic training collar.
  2. When starting e-collar training do so away from distractions.
  3. Eliminate one misbehavior or teach one obedience command at a time. If you move too fast with the training, your dog may become confused.
  4. Keep your training sessions positive, short, and frequent. If you or your dog become frustrated or confused, it’s best to take a break.
  5. Be consistent. Give your dog a tone, vibration, or static stimulation with each misbehavior.
  6. Do not overcorrect your dog. Use as few stimulations as possible to train your dog.
  7. If your dog has a timid reaction to the tone, vibration, or static stimulation (especially the first couple of times), do not be alarmed. Redirect his attention to a simple and appropriate behavior (i.e. a known command, such as “Sit”).
  8. We recommend that you not use this product if your dog is under 6 months of age or less than 8 pounds.
Note: Never use the training collar to correct or eliminate any form of aggressive behavior. If your dog exhibits such behavior, contact a professional trainer.
