CLAYMOR3 CLC-500 Head Light
This product contains a Li-Polymer battery. Please follow the user manual before use. If any abnormality is found in the product, discontinue use and contact the dealer or a service centre where the product was purchased.
Caution
- Do not use near high temperatures such as fires or heating equipment. It may cause explosion and ignition.
- This product is water resistant. However, if left in the rain for a long time, it may cause malfunction.
- Do not store or use in vehicles exposed to direct sunlight. It may cause explosion and malfunction.
- Do not touch the light source directly as it may become very hot during use.
- Do not use if the product exceeds the operating temperature range (-10 °C to 40 °C).
- Do not look directly into the LED light source.
- Please do not place in the reach of infants. It may cause swallowing of parts or injury.
- Adult supervision is necessary when used by children. Misuse of the headlamp may cause injury or electric shock.
- Do not insert any metal parts into the terminal block of the connector. It may cause heat, explosion or electric shock.
- Do not disassemble or modify the product.
- Do not touch the connector with wet hands. There is a danger of electric shock.
- When adjusting the angle, please do not bend with force. It may cause damage to the product.
- Dropping or impacting the product can cause damage to the inside of the product, resulting in unexpected failures in normal use. Be careful not to apply impact to the body.
- Do not cover the lens when the focused light is on.
- The heat from focused light may cause damage to the object.
- Turn off the power when storing after use.

Headband
Insert head band on the band hook of the product and adjust to desired length.

Using Clip
As shown in the figure, insert clip into the clip hole on the band hook and push. The clip can be attached to a backpack strap or pocket.

Angle adjustment
The angle can be adjusted in 4 steps -
Lantern Hook
Compatible with a carabiner or hang-on string with a hook. -
Tripod Socket
Claymore Heady uses 1/4 inch tripod socket so it is compatible with all the 1/4 inch accessories.- accessories and connecting adapters is not included
Charging Method
- Open the rubber cover and connect the USB-C cable to charge the lantern. When charging, the battery indicator will flicker in 3 steps to show the battery remaining.
- When plugging in the charging cable when fully discharged, the LED lighting part flashes momentarily. This is normal and not a defect.

When you press the button, the power is on and the
battery remaining is displayed for 3 seconds. -
If you press a button when power is off, the battery remaining is displayed for 3 seconds.

Operation
ON/OFF
- Press the button shortly to turn on the light.
- Repeat to turn off the light.
- This lantern contains a memory function that returns to the last setting when turned off and on.
SOS-Flash
When the light is OFF, press the button over 2seconds to access the SOS signal
Mode Change
- When the light is ON, press the button shortly to change
- 6 different light modes. (Focused → Focused & Diffused → Diffused(Cool) → Diffused(White) → Diffused(Warm) → Red

Stepless Dimming
- When the light is ON, press and hold the button to increase brightness. Repeat to decrease brightness.
- The light blinks once when Maximum and Minimum brightness are reached.
5 STEP Dimming
Pressing the down button and press the button shortly to adjust the brightness
in 5 steps
Sensor Mode
- When the light is ON or OFF, press the button over 2 seconds to activate Sensor Mode. Repeat to inactivate Sensor Mode.
- While the sensor is operating, the sensor indicator will flash. Detection distances range: 8cm
- Wave the hand by the sensor to turn the light on and off
- Hold your hands near the sensor to adjust the brightness.
Sensor mode automatic OFF function
To reduce unnecessary power consumption, the sensor mode will automatically
turn off after 2hours when there is no movement.
Power automatic OFF function
If a human body or object continues to be close to the sensor for over 20
seconds, the power is turned off to prevent overheating.
To prevent false sensor detection, turn off the sensor when storing after use.
- The sensor may not work under sunlight or in very bright places.

Caution for long-term storage
- If the battery is completely drained, the battery indicator might not flash. If this happens, plug the USB cable back in or press the button to turn the battery indicator on again.
- For long-term storage, fully recharge the battery.
- Please keep in mind that if stored below -10°C the battery life may be affected.
- Please keep it in a dry place without moisture.
